Sorry, this is not a mustering of armies (or is it?)
About me
I'm a seasoned player and have roleplayed for the larger part of my 30+ life. The last couple of years I've only played in my native language, but am looking to try out English once more. With that said; I do try to have proper language when writing, but if you get annoyed by grammatical errors, I'm not the partner for you.
What I'm searching for
I'm looking for someone who wants to play in a "medieval fantasy" setting where we can be creative and build the world together. If you already have created a world, I'm happy to play there as well, but only if you are open to evolve it together. If we have a fandom we both like, we can also use that world if it suits our plot :3 If you have an interesting plot for a Urban fantasy adventure I might consider to play that as well! <3
Other than that, I believe you are a laid back person who can reply a couple of times a week, sometimes more, sometimes less. You are patient and can keep interest for long periods of time. You love to plot as you go, and don't need to have everything figured out before starting. You love to create stories together with others. As for your writing, you prefer quality over quantity and don't have the need to explain every detail. I believe you usually write around 200-500 words, depending on the scene.
Lastly, I do want my partner to be able to chat OOC, and preferably be over 30 years old.
What I'm offering
I'm laid back when it comes to replies. I have an extremely busy life, but will try to answer a couple of times a week, sometimes I can even answer several times in one day (!) But this also means that I can go MIA for a couple of weeks as well. I'll always be reachable OOC, but I don't expect you to be if you go MIA for a couple of weeks. It's totally fine to be gone for a month and then come back to the story- I can keep interest if we have got things going. To wait a month between every reply is too much, there needs to be some kind of momentum from time to time.
I myself write as much as is needed to get the story moving forward. I try to give my partner at least a couple of things to react to and have no problem with playing NPC:s when they are needed. I write around 200-500 words, depending on the scene.
Plots, pairings and races
I don't have a certain character nor plot in mind, but I know that I need the story to have romance in it. I'm a sucker for enemies to lovers, forbidden love, protector x protected etcetera. The romance part doesn't need to be the main story, rather it should be the fuel for something bigger. As we will be new partners, I think an adventure type of story would be easiest when we get to know each other's writing styles; but I also love thick political intrigues and warring of nations.
As for pairings, I prefer MxF where I play the female but I can play the male as well. I'm not a stranger to other kinds of pairings as long as we can find a nice and fun combo of characters. I have no shame when I say I like clichés like Grumpy x Sunshine :3
I also want to address the characters' race as we are talking fantasy here... I only play humans and very human-like races (elves for instance). If the characters are some kind of spirit or demon, they should take human form. It goes without saying that all characters will be over 18 years.
Smut and gore
While I do like the tension of attraction, I do not write detailed and graphical sexual actions. Nor do I write heavy or detailed gore.
If our story would have those kinds of elements in them, it would be with a more sweeping and general writing rather than details and focusing on it. If you want "fade to black", I am totally fine with that as well. I also ask you to mention your triggers or no-goes before starting our story together so boundaries are clear from the start.
What else...?
As mentioned before, I don't have a certain plot in mind, so you are free to hit me up if you do, or if you want to find out together :3
Some very loose plots I have been thinking about lately are... NecRomance (pun intended), friends to lovers to enemies-revenge story, prophecies, folklore fantasy stories...
Lastly...
If there is a certain detail in this post that makes you feel that you are not what I'm looking for, but everything else feels right up your alley; please reach out to me as it might not be a deal breaker :3
