Hey everyone.
I've been roleplaying on and off for slightly more than a decade. At first, I got into it purely out of curiousity, but the writing bug got me good, and eventually my roleplay posts started evolving from casual two-three liners to elaborate multi paragraphs. I've always been reticent about roleplaying in forums, mostly restricting myself to IRC platforms, 3D chat clients which have rich roleplay communities and IMs (Started off with Skype, now it's Discord). I did forum roleplay on multiple occasions in between, but the lack of dynamic interaction and sometimes having to wait for multiple days to get a reply, always managed to drive me off.
But nowadays, I've matured, and I've realized that people have a life (I know, shocking!). So I've mellowed and now actually look forward to well constructed, well thought-out posts rather than having to deal with half-arsed, hastily put-together posts with more fluff than actual content. So gradually, I started feeling the appeal of an organized, well-maintained forum to share thoughts and create stories on. To that note, some friends who've tried The Inner Sanctum praised the website wholeheartedly and were quite adamant that I try it out. And they ended up being quite convincing.
I come here with eager fingers and open mind, hoping to get involved in exciting stories, unleash the full force of my creative acumen and explore multitudes of genres, settings, worlds.
l look forward to writing with all of you. My inbox is always open for anyone who wants to discuss scenarios, settings, roleplay worlds and characters. Except for steampunk (which is a genre I haven't had to chance to explore much), I am pretty much comfortable with any kind of setting, as prehistoric or futuristic as they may be. If I were to pick up my top three favourite genres (because picking just one is not possible for me), they would be - Medieval fantasy, Modern/Post-modern apocalyptic/dystopian fantasy (realistic or with a hint of paranormal) and might be a little off-beat, the genre of LitRPG/Gamelit/Reincarnation settings.
I am going to take a few days to fully explore the forums, and try to find a niche I can fit into :)
That's all from me now. Wish you all a wonderful day!
