BEGINNING DISCLAIMER:
I have my thread labeled with a variety of different sensitive contents that you may not find here. Roleplays with me typically have a lot of those themes regardless of which plots I do, which is why I'm labeling my whole thread that way, as to not waste your time. If you are not comfortable with those specific topics, we likely will not be compatible.

Who I am, and what I like to write.

Welcome to my post! I do ask that you read everything in this post, I'll try to keep it short and sweet for you all. I'm not hard to work with (I'd like to believe, anyway), so don't be nervous to throw ideas out!

I go by Glissy on this website, but you can also call me Tori if you'd like! It's another alias that I go by on the internet. I love meeting and interacting with new people, so I love out of character conversations and would love to chat with you!

My favorite genre to write about is fantasy romance, hands down. I can do other genres other than fantasy, but it is absolutely my favorite, and I love my imagination to be able to run wild without restrictions. After all, we're writing a story! I can live life normally, I love the freedom of being able to write about things that don't exist (or that I can't experience) like magic or the intricacy of a royal court, while also making it feel real. If you have any fantasy ideas, please throw them my way!

What I expect.

Please try to reply in a timely manner. I get that we all get burnt out and sometimes aren't up to writing, and that's okay! If you're burnt out or have a reason for not replying for a while, please let me know in PMs. I'd just like to be kept in the loop. Otherwise, I'd prefer a partner who gives replies decently frequently. At least twice a week would be my preference. And please put effort into your writing! I value quality over quantity, so if we have a roleplay with shorter reply lengths, I'd like to at least see you try! I also ask that you have proper grammar. It doesn't need to be perfect, typos on both ends will happen and I understand that English is not everyone's first language. But please have a mostly decent grasp on proper grammar.

With everything in this list, I'll extend the same courtesies your way.

My usual reply length and my writing schedule.

I prefer quality over quantity with writing, but I'd also prefer to have a decent amount of material to work with on each response, and I'd like to extend my partner that same courtesy. I, personally, will usually write a minimum of three sizable paragraphs, and the number only rises from there. I give what I receive!

My writing schedule is pretty open. I am working (part-time), while also balancing time spent with family and friends. You can hopefully expect multiple responses per week, usually at least a response every day unless I am specifically busy, burnt out, or I forgot (it'll happen sometimes, I have really bad ADHD). If I do seem to take an extended period of time to reply, please shoot me a message and remind me! Usually I check the site once a day if I'm not actively roleplaying, so if I'd forgotten, I'll usually catch it by the next day or two and get a response brewing!

Gore and violence tolerance level.

Gore and violence are a big "yes" in roleplays with me. I like to be able to write without much restriction on gore or violence, as a lot of my characters tend to be at least a little unhinged and violent. I ask that if you roleplay with me, you should be at least a little comfortable with gore and violence. If you have a limit, that's perfectly okay! I do ask that you clarify with me beforehand, so that we both understand each other! With that being said, I also typically lean towards something similar with partners of mine. Unhinged, violent (sometimes), among other things. You will definitely have me hooked if you bring up a concept with that involved.

Sexual content and kinks/limits.

I do not mind sexual content in roleplays, in fact, I welcome it! I'd like to improve my descriptions and writing when it comes to sexual content. I do prefer a more story heavy plot, though. Sex would need to drive the plot forward, to have a meaning. Sex for the sake of sex doesn't work for me, unless we're doing a more sexual-themed roleplay. I like a good 80%-20% ratio of sex and story, story being the leading role of the roleplay. As of lately, I've found a bit more of an interest in smut, so I'd be willing to adjust that ratio slightly accordingly. But the big thing for me is foreplay.

For me, the tension and foreplay leading up to sex is almost, if not better than, the sex itself. Teasing and sexual tension are something I absolutely love to see in a roleplay, and it's one of my heavily sought after aspects in a romantic/sexual roleplay.

As for kinks, below in the spoilered image is what I typically enjoy. If something is labeled as Interested (Yellow), then ask me about it and I'd consider it. But the No's (Red) are completely not interested, please don't ask.

Fandoms.

I apologize, but I do not write fandoms. It will have to be a damn good proposal and a fandom that I adore for me to do a fandom roleplay. I would definitely enjoy roleplaying in the worlds of certain pieces of fiction, but not as pre-established characters from them 90% of the time.

Established worlds I've been interested in lately are as follows, and will be adjusted as time goes on and my interests change:

Baldur's Gate 3 (Dungeons & Dragons in general)

Pairings and Settings.

As for settings, my preference is the Victorian era, or medieval. Those are my favorite eras to write in, although, once again, I will be open to other alternatives!

My biggest interest right now is a plot set inside a dark, deadly fantasy world. MC would be someone jaded who has been hurt multiple times before, potentially a scarred assassin or a talented sorceress. This is a more romantic plot, where MC learns to let her guard down and trust again in YC after being hurt by countless other people before.

I have a few detailed plot ideas for the plots above that I'd prefer to share in DMs. With the pairings below, I can easily try to create a more detailed base for us to work with! Just approach me with at the very least an idea of what kind of pairing you'd like to play with!

Established pairings:
This plot is set in a medieval fantasy, war-ridden world. The government had practically fallen, nearly overthrown by violent witches. Magic used to be everywhere in the world, it was hardly surprising if you were to run into a witch. They helped people and were paid handsomely for their aid, but over time people grew wary. Witches dreamed for more, wanted more than everything they'd been blessed with and given by the gods. They began to stray from their natural magics, the ones that ran through separate bloodlines. They began to channel from the earth, taking what didn't belong to them. It poisoned the magic, poisoned the once potent bloodlines that used to run rampant.

Witches were hunted not long after. They were crucified. The acts of the few made everyone hate the collective, which then led to more witches stealing from the earth. It was a never-ending cycle that practically tore the world apart in civil war. The witches burned down the government who were unprepared for what they were up against. Some tried to rise to power, were killed by others. But after multiple years, a new threat rose. An Inquisition, whose whole purpose was to eradicate the witches and all of their spawn, until none of them were left.

Centuries later, the Inquisition practically replaced the government that had ruled before them. The common people worshiped them for the illusion of safety the Inquisition gifted them. Most didn't care that their peers starved, that the streets were a dangerous place. The religious zealots of the Inquisition only cared for one thing: ridding the world of witches. It started out with a group of men with a vision, who then abducted orphans and gave them a home, a purpose. That was how it was born, but it spiraled into something much bigger than the men who created it. So what will happen, when a powerful witch born of the woman who started the downfall of their species, is forced to marry a high ranking Inquisition soldier? Will he find out what she is? Will he believe that she's not like her predecessor?

MC was a woman with a troubling backstory. She had to kill her mother, at a very young age. It was self defense, her mother had gone violent and relentlessly attacked her. Something had infected her, something had made her sick and changed her, and then the final step was turning her violent. MC can barely remember that traumatic day, except for the black, inky worms that slithered out of her mother's nose, and slipped down the drain of the bathtub.

She spent years trying to find what it was that had killed her mother. Nothing she ever researched yielded any results. Anyone she asked had never heard of it. Until one day, she submitted a thesis to her college professor. The thesis stated to make up a fake illness, and its effects. Since no one had ever heard of her mother's ailment, and she'd almost convinced herself she'd imagined the whole thing, she wrote of her mother. He called her into his office the week after, and told her that the illness she'd described was very real, but very closely guarded. It was being studied by scientists on an island so off the grid it was only known for one thing: the prestigious academy on its shores. Admission only given to the best of the best, and the second you agree to attend, you're sworn to secrecy to never share what you find or see on that island.

Her whole world is upended. She leaves her abusive family and finds herself at this glorious academy with everything you could ever imagine. She's thrown into classes studying this illness, trying to find answers for something that has haunted her memory her whole life. She declares that nothing will distract her from her goal. Until she meets YC. A professor in charge of the classes and studies regarding the parasite that possessed her mother. He searches for a cure, but has other intentions as well. The island has a sinister past, and he intends to unravel it, and seat himself at the top.

The island is puppeted by 7 powerful men. Each with a dark past or connection to the island, and YC sits on that council. They are cruel, harsh, and will get rid of anyone in their way. So when YC shows up and starts asking questions, and accidentally finds herself too close to her dangerous professor, their gaze turns to her. Not only will the past come rushing back at the two of them, danger from the present haunts the halls of the academy.

I'll update this post as I think of more pairings I'd be interested in. The ones that are bold are ones I'm currently interested in for the moment.

Other pairings:
Prince x Princess (arranged marriage) from warring kingdoms
Assassin x Prince/Princess
King x Queen of opposing kingdoms, once one gets captured to end a war
Witch x Demon
Kidnapped Princess x Captor

Extras.

Thank you for reading this far! Please don't hesitate to shoot me a DM, I'd be open to hearing anything! Always looking for things to spice up roleplay and make things more fun.
