Hello everyone! After accidentally deleting my last thread, its time to give it a quick refresh to make sure everything is in order.
To start, my names Jared, and I'm M24. I have been writing for about 10-11 years now and am currently coming out of a 2 year hiatus. I have a ton of experience in writing mainly romance based RPs, and my favorite settings are Medieval/High Fantasy, though I also have quite a bit of experience with survival, slice of life, apocalyptic, and just general smut RPs as well.
My replies tend to match whatever my partner is giving me, though I have experience in everything from one liners to multi-para responses totaling 2000+ words, though since I am still pretty rusty any longer posts like these will certainly take a fair amount of time to respond. Right now I seem to be averaging post lengths anywhere from 500-800 words consistently.
Right now due to some personal issues in my life, this next month is going to be a little hectic and may affect my writing schedule, but most of the time I try my hardest to respond once if not multiple times a day. Once this rough time passes I can assure everyone I have some of the best communication with my partners. Speaking of, I usually try to let my partners know if I'm going away for more than 3 days. I totally understand that life comes before the screen and you don't technically have to tell me anything, but if you're getting bored or wish to end the RP I prefer to know rather than be ghosted.
OOC Communication is a must! I love the planning that goes on behind the scenes of the story, and also love talking with my partners! How else am I gonna know what you like?
I can type at about 110WPM, so whenever I am online I can promise quick responses with accurate grammar! I prefer to receive the same, text speech is a major turnoff.
Gore and violence doesn't bother me in the slightest as long as it isn't being used in a sexual manner. I prefer everyone's bits to stay in place during that.
Speaking on that, I do enjoy smut in my RPs but try to keep the average 30%/70% split where story takes the larger percentage. Even with this being the case, I am never against doing a heavily smutty RP either as long as it is discussed beforehand. Just try to have a bit of substance backing it, otherwise they get stale for me pretty quick.
I myself am a switch, usually leaning dominant but I also love when my partner takes control away and uses me. I'm sure I can fit whatever role you prefer and still be happy myself. I don't have a ton of kinks and lean a little on the vanilla side, but I am certainly open to change. I have tried light bondage and enjoyed it a lot, the only thing I am not really willing to try is anything involving blood, scat, blood, gore, etc.
I used to have a full website full of OCs that were pretty fun to use, though looking back on it now makes me want to vomit and it will take some time to bring up to speed. At the moment, I'm just making characters on a per RP basis and try to talk it all over with my partners beforehand.

- Been having a lot of ideas and itches for a cyberpunk/VR setting, would be down for just about anything in that setting.
- Weirdly been thinking about one where my character is captured and used by another. A little bit against my usual tastes but what's life without a little spice?
