I can't stop the tears as we end and I begin. But how do I start?
It's been so long since I last felt the sun.
Walked with my head held high.
Been able to see the clear blue skies.
So why then do I cry for the end?
When its time to start a new.
To love me again.
No longer held down.
No more words always cutting into my heart. Guss we've always lived in worlds apart.
Still I'll miss it when you shared your warmth. When you held my hand.
When you even carried me some of the way. But that doesn't make up for all the bad.
For never being happy with what we had.
So this beginning is finally ready to start.
To walk in a world that pulls us apart.
So for now the tears continue to go on.
As I learn to begin to live and move on.
