Howdy.
I've been roleplaying damn near all my adult life; long enough to have watched the medium grow and evolve, to watch the crowds I sourced this entertainment from change and grow. I've seen old roleplayers the likes of which are rare these days and newer roleplayers who's styles confuse me. I've RP'd since the days of the stone and chisel and now that people can post from their phones, I'm here to catch up, and get some new writing going. I'm not shy about adult themes and I like to go to dark places, so come to me with your limits- and don't be shy to request a bit of light-hearted content as well. Light reveals a form, and darkness defines it, after all.
About me
I'm male, in my 30s, from Puerto Rico and anything about my private life you want to know you can find out if you chat with me
Two wolf dogs, a cat, and a girlfriend
I've been a soldier, a protestor, an artist and a retail slave
I'm really friendly OOC, yap @ me
Super open minded
kinks
We all got'em. Mine are relatively vanilla- I like darker themes, a little noncon, a little blackmail. These aren't hard necesities though. I can go the other way and do cuddly cute RPs too, but I usually like to have some sort of balance.
non-human females (doesn't have to be insanely exotic; Elves, Orcs, Vulcans, whatever)
female characters written so well they seem real
s/m
long legs
Just a touch of inquisitor style torture, for spice
what I want from you
Feedback is essential to communication. I can get a pretty good feel of people over how we chat, and I like people that communicate openly and effectively. I respect your time and expect the same of mine, that said, I get excited for posts but I won't bother you for one unless like a week has passed. I'm fairly literate and expect you to be the same, I range from 2-3 paragraphs on average.
Cravings and other muses,
*Fantasy --the safest bet with me, especially if you have an interesting character or plot idea. I'll be updating this thread with plots for these as I think of them, but I prefer my world-building to be a collaberative effort, or to use pre-established settings (Your ideas; DnD campeign settings, Video Game settings that are fantasy)
x Modern -- a hard sell for me. A real hard sell. You can try, but it likely won't stick.
-Scifi-- Again, not my cup of tea, but I might be more inclined then Modern if you have a good idea.
-History -- Meh.
Fandoms
Almost always will play OCs for this with the excpetion of a few titles.
*World of Warcraft -- Been playing since the old days, and I always love a good Warcraft roleplay. I've got plenty of ideas and characters for this, so if it tickles your fancy to do Warcraft based, you're pretty much an instant yes
*Star Trek -- Huge fan of the shows, we can yap about it and figure out where in the timeline we want to place our characters. OCs for this.
Final Fantasy 7 -- I may be tempted to do Cannon x Cannon for this, depending on your ideas. I like playing Cloud, Reno, on occasion Zack.
*Final Fantasy XIV -- OC/OC pairings
*Dragon Age -- Always loved this setting, willing to do something along the lines of a Templar x Apostate or something
Plots/Ideas
*So, I do have an idea for like... a fantasy version of Stardew Valley, where MC is some adventurer who got out of the game early and bought a patch of land on a typical fantasy landscape. The idea here is that your character, whoever that may be, ends up on this farm for whatever reason (we'll figure it out over pm) and from there, I'm thinking comes the twist. This land is not what it seems, the cycles of day and night evoke strange reactions. Crops fully maturing overnights, mischievious pixies vandalizing the barnyard... and seemingly mindness livestock suddenly developing sentience?
It's meant to be sort of a slice-of-life fantasy with a twist; the idea here would be to make the ordinary extraordinary.
*Another idea I have is a fantasy setting where there's all out war. My character would be a Warden for the Imperial, conquering power and your character would be either a captive, or a leiutenant of his. This would be a sort of fantasy-prison setting, with the potential of spiraling into whatever direction we agree to take it on.
