Hello again, and welcome to my new request thread. I normally would've posted this in my main one, however, I feel like this needs a complete space just for itself, because boy, oh boy, am I dying to play something Cyberpunk! Assuming that's why you're here as well, right? Okay, well, bear with me, got some things to say before we get into the meat and chrome of this!
So, recently I've been playing a LOT of Cyberpunk, patch 1.6 ignited a new love for the game (even though I always loved it), and my hype for the new Netflix anime series has only grown more intense. Well, needless to say, when it dropped, I was so eager to get my brain into it that I watched it in well, two days, more or less. Finished it earlier, and I won't give you ANY spoilers, so don't worry! But if you watched it as well, I'm eager to know what you think, in PMs. But as with any amazing thing that ends, it left me feeling like I wanted so much more! So, in absence of anything else, I have to turn to crafting my own stories until the Phantom Liberty expansion comes about. But I need someone else to bounce back-and-forth with, so here I am!
I will say, I wish I can find someone who will be here for the ride. I get it that real life happens, that burnout is a thing, I totally understand, been there myself, but it's getting a little disappointing to start stories that never even reach too far because of various reasons. I'd love to finish at least one, which is why I'll aim to keep the goal for these stories to be more... short-term. Not one-shot, mind you, although one-shots are fun as well, but they might be more focused on smut. Simply put, I don't aim to write entire novels worth of fanfic, although if we end up doing that, I won't be mad even for a second.
In terms of what I can do and offer, feel free to check out all my content on here, to get an idea of what you're bargaining for. I'm a very flexible writer and I'd like to think I can keep things interesting as long as you give me something to work with!
As for the stories themselves, they will involve high levels of violence and graphic content, the whole kit and kaboodle. Night City is an unforgiving environment, and not even the people at the very top are safe from plunging and splattering in the gutter; it's just the way it is. As such, be prepared to read and write about very heavy themes, from drug use, alcohol, torture, death, sexual assault, mass shootings, suicide to everything your mind can conjure up. Though mind you, in no way am I condoning any of that.
So then, if you got this far, I think we should go ahead and move onto the plots and stories I have thought up. I am also very open to hear about your ideas in this universe, so if nothing here tickles your fancy but you got something to share, go ahead and share it! I'll probably be interested. Now, off to the plots, but first...
Well, there we go! If any of these plots interest you, feel free to PM me! Be seeing you!

This should get you in the mood for this ride...
Plots!
Plots!
Pulling a heist on a Militech convoy? That just spells doom. But the prospect of getting your hands on prime military-grade tech that would sell for a fortune on the black market is too tempting to resist. Especially for a nasty bunch like the Raffen Shiv of the Badlands. The most hated nomads, people whose deaths wouldn't be mourned by anyone. YC, a nomad from another clan, runs into a car stranded out in the Badlands on her way back from a job. The markings on it are clear, it's Raffen, but out of curiosity, she stops to check after making sure it's no trap. And, lo and behold, she finds a Raffen inside, riddled with bullets, nearly dead in the driver's seat. Job gone wrong? Against her best judgements, she decides to take him to camp, hoping to manage to save him; she's always been good like that. But she would have to be very careful about slipping a wolf in a sheep's enclosure. And by no means is anyone going to find out that he is Raffen. A good heart in Night City? Sounds like a rare gem.
YC is a corpo assassin. The sole purpose of her existence is to take out targets that her employer wants wiped out. She pulled enough jobs that she knows it all, inside and out. Her next target doesn't seem like a problem to her, just some edgerunner who klepped important info and needs to be erased for being privy to sensitive intel. She definitely didn't expect this job to go tits up, knew the risks involved with a simple mistake. Simply put, if she failed once, she would be disposed of. What happens when the assassin becomes the target of other assassins and her only safeline is to coop up with the guy she was supposed to kill?
YC is a merc. Not great, not terrible, just your average cyberpunk looking to make a living. In truth, the reason why she turned to this work is something deeply personal, and she knows pulling small jobs won't yield the amount of eddies that she truly needs. But luck might shine upon her when she hears word that a crew is being assembled for a job pegged by one of the top fixers in town. High risks, even higher rewards, but death is almost a certain constant in this. And to top it off, the first guy she has to work with to even get a chance is a netrunner, a guy as peculiar as they come. Unlike many chairjocks who are reclusive and prefer their virtu-enviros to real life, this guy loves sitting in the Afterlife, partying and running his mouth, on top of hitting on every woman who crosses his path.
YC is a joytoy. Not the life she dreamed of since she was a child, but the only life she could afford once she realized people at the bottom of the food chain don't have choices in this city. Years of this work has desensitized her some, turned her jagged, and every encounter she had became an autopilot session of her fulfilling some guy or woman's dreams for an hour or two. That is until she meets him. A cyberpunk, looks like, a guy who would do most of anything for a buck. Their lives don't seem that much different, really, but what makes the difference is the fact that, unlike the rest of her clients, this guy's hardly ever in for the sex. He pays, sure, but more often than not he ends up spilling his heart out to her as if he was at a therapy session, hardly ever meaning to get his money's worth of sex. She has met many lonely people in her line of work, but by far, he seems the loneliest, and for the first time in ages, she feels something towards another human. But oh, happiness is so expensive and often nigh unachievable in Night City.
YC is a regular person in Night City. Working a regular, perhaps boring or soliciting job, coming home late at night, tired and ready to hit the hay. Her life is as uninteresting as it gets, or well, it was, until one night, she comes home to find that it had been broken into. And if that's not scary enough, well, next thing she knows she's knocked out, and wakes up hours later, on her own bed, with the guy desperately pacing around, asking about a chip, about where she hid it, rambling on about how he was dead without it. What sort of skezzed out gonk did she stumble into?!?
Night City has a way to drop the high and mighty right onto their heads. He never believed he would fall, all his life he lived in a well-off area, had good schooling and ended up working at Arasaka, the top corp in Night City and really, worldwide. And then, out of nowhere, for just a mistake, he found himself thrown out of it all. No insurance, no home, no eddies. All the implants he had been able to afford with corp money were shut off, entirely, and just like that, he was turned into no one. Just like the people he thought so lowly about not even a few days prior. Now, it seemed he needed help from precisely the people he disliked, turn a new leaf and live a new life. How can someone entirely stranger to the actual life in Night City, below the ivory towers, survive out here?
Well, there we go! If any of these plots interest you, feel free to PM me! Be seeing you!
