PREVIOUSLY:
❀ Yuri has trouble making and keeping friends, as she tends to come on too strongly. It is said that she used to be bullied for her appearance and mannerisms, providing another possible explanation as to why she secludes herself to have an introverted lifestyle. She is, however, a generous and giving person, exemplified by her giving a copy of "Portrait of Markov" to the protagonist and for bringing tea to the Literature Club to help soothe the mind and help stay focused during reading. During Monika's Talk, Monika states that one time Yuri innocently pulled out a small bottle of wine and offered it to the club. It seems as though she was unaware of the underage drinking aspect of it, and just genuinely thought providing refreshments would be a nice thing to do.

POSITIVES:
❁ Yuri is portrayed throughout the majority of the game as being shy, generous, polite, passionate about topics she is interested in, apologetic, very intelligent, mature, and eloquent.

NEGATIVES:
❁ Despite her maturity, Yuri does argue with Natsuki over their differing opinions on writing styles. While she tries to avoid the conflict at first, Yuri can be very passionate and stubborn, with her outright cursing. Yuri can be innocently insensitive, as she sometimes comes across as condescending or pretentious without truly meaning to. Once she realizes what she said could be considered insensitive, she almost immediately apologizes, repeatedly saying she did not mean it.

LIKES:
❁ Writing - Yuri is an incredibly talented writer, though she keeps most of her work to herself.
❁ Horror Novels - She is a big fan of the horror genre, and deeply enjoys darker topics, especially when they contain symbolic literature.
❁ Knives - As stated before, Yuri has a strange fascination with knives. She may even be considered a masochist, due to the sexual pleasure she gains from cutting herself.

DISLIKES:
❁ Cutsey Writing - Yuri does not like cutesy writing, and, as a result, unintentionally insults Natsuki's writing on a regular basis.
❁ Meeting new people - She is very shy, and meeting strangers puts her out of her comfort zone.

EXTRA:
❁ Yuri is the "shrinking violet" (a term to describe a character who prefers to blend in with the scenery than to attract unwanted attention) of the club members because of her constant apologetic nature. The attribution is also because of being shy to discussions beyond her category of interest, her interests being literature, horror, and general surrealism, which she examines and articulates expertly and encourages others to follow as well. Yuri's love of surrealism seems to be foreshadowing further events of the game, with Yuri's surrealistic eyes and the game's horrific nature after Sayori's suicide. Yuri prefers poetry that uses metaphorical symbolism and enjoys collecting unusual ornate knives which are implied she may use to cut herself for not wholly specified reasons.​

PREVIOUSLY:
❀ Ayano grew up in a relatively normal environment. She had parents and did well in school. However, she always knew that something was wrong with her. Ayano couldn't feel anything, she had a total lack of empathy for anyone (including her family). Growing up in a wealthier neighborhood, she learned very early on that reputation meant a lot so she perfected the art of blending in and appearing normal. As time went on, Ayano became very comfortably classified with the label: Shy. It was perfect, it gave her the excuse to be distant and uninvolved with most things without appearing rude or worse: not normal. She would make sure that she socialized enough not to draw people's curiosity and found that playing with the minds and feelings of others to be quite entertaining. It was all about keeping up appearances.

CURRENT OCCUPATION:
❀ Everything changed the day she met him: Her Senpai. Suddenly, for the first time in her life she felt something and she became addicted to that feeling. Yet, approaching him was a scary notion. Ayano knew that she couldn't take it if he rejected her love confession. So instead, she's waiting for the perfect moment to confess. A moment where there is no way or reason he would reject her. But then she came into the picture, a girl who also liked... no, wanted her Senpai. For the second time in her life, Ayano felt something: rage. Her way is now clear, and she will stop at nothing to keep people away from her Senpai. She will do whatever it takes. Even kill.

POSITIVES:
❁ Ayano is extremely stealthy and can sneak up on almost anyone without being noticed by her target.
❁ She is also rather strong, and is able to run at a fairly quick speed while carrying an unconscious or dead body in her arms.
❁ Ayano does not have the ability to feel emotions, empathy, or remorse. She does not feel guilt or shame for harming others.

NEGATIVES:
❁ If the one she loves were to be around, Ayano would hesitate to commit any crimes, such as murder or theft, since she doesn't want to give her Senpai a negative view of her.
❁ She would do almost anything for her love, especially if she knew he were in danger. This could cause her to act irrationally at times.
❁ She is unable to feel any sort of emotions aside from those her Senpai causes her to feel, which can make her seem odd to other people in the way she acts.

❁ Along with a shrine, she keeps a bulletin board in her room where she places images she has taken of Senpai with her phone as well as images of the girls she's stalking. The ones she's planning on eliminating so that Senpai can be just hers. If she manages to drug and kidnap a girl she will tie them down to a chair in her basement and deprive them of their basic human necessities then torture them continuously until their mind is broken. Leaving them as a shell of a human being, ready to do what she wants them to do and then take their lives afterwards. Knowing only her word, and the fact that they're useless.
❁ Ayano is not a good person. She is capable of kidnap and torture, fake suicides, homicide, crushing someone to death, drowning, electrocution, poison, burning them to death, and even framing them for one of her murders. All so that her teenage love won't have to die. Whether you're a man, woman, or child - if you stand in her way then be prepared to not wake up the next day.​

PREVIOUSLY:
❀ Asta is the half-human daughter of King Einar Felland and Queen Kathleen Drummond (both deceased). When she was a baby, Queen Kathleen sent her away to prevent her from being killed in order to give her powers to her twin brother Kael, who, as the only male decendant of the crown, was to inherit the throne. She was raised by a maid loyal to her mother. She came to know the maid as her "grandmother", despite knowing there was no possible way for there to be any biological relations between them. Asta grew up never knowing that she was the princess of the land, nor that she had a twin brother named Kael. Initially, Asta showed little to no emotion, which was a common characteristic of her non-human side. However, six years from current time, Asta and her "grandmother" were tracked down by Kael who had been searching for his sister for years. Their reunion was hardly a pleasant one, though. Once discovered, Kael put a sword through Asta's stomach, greatly wounding her, as well as absorbing her powers. Her body was then dumped in the woods so that passerbys would assume she was a victim of bandits. Asta nearly died from her wounds, but fortunately, she was discovered by an alchemist named Tahn. Tahn was able to heal Asta, guiding her slowly to recovery, but she was left with a permanent scar across her abdomen. Tahn allowed Asta to live with him and his family in their camp as an act of kindness, and because she proved herself to be an adept thief.

CURRENT OCCUPATION:
❀ After a few years of thievery with Tahn and his family, Asta decided it was time to go a separate direction from them. Though she never revealed her past of what happened to her to anyone, she did become very close with Tahn's daughter. After a failed attempt at engaging in a romantic relationship with the girl, Asta apologized in a letter, leaving the family with a pouch of gold as thanks for all they had done for her. Currently, Asta is searching for her "grandmother", though the search has been going on for long enough that Asta has assumed her dead, despite refusing to give up the hunt. She still reverts to her thieving habits she developed in her time with Tahn and his family, and currently has no official occupation.

She believes that the outfits that many other young ladies wear would only get in the way. She also prefers darker colours, but has been known to wear white to lessen the shocking effect that her hair typically causes when in public.

✿ Asta has a pair of black and red daggers nested on either of her hips at all times. They were a gift from Tahn's daughter, and hold sentimental value to her.

POSITIVES:
❁ Asta is known to be very courageous, and is not afraid to stand up for herself and those she cares about.
❁ She has no problem using violence or thievery to resolve issues, and is incredibly quick and light on her feet due to her small size, though she does have a sense of morality and will call out something she sees as being unfair or unjust.
❁ Asta is humourous and witty, and will often use it in potentially dark or threatening situations to keep herself positive.

NEGATIVES:
❁ Asta is afraid of letting anyone get close to her, especially after what happened with her brother. She tends to be very secretive, and only reveals information about herself if she deeply trusts them, or if the situation is dire enough that she has no other option.
❁ She is extremely sarcastic, and her mouth has been known to get her into trouble on more than one occasion.
❁ Ever since losing her powers, Asta has been able to feel emotions. At times the weight of them can be unbearable, and she often resorts to alcohol in order to numb her pain.
