About me & What I'm Looking For​

Hi! My name is Charlie and if you're here you've either clicked this by accident or you are curious about a roleplay with me. I've been roleplaying for about thirteen years now, and enjoy a wide variety of genres.
I really enjoy dark stories with elements of romance or soft moments and cunning, rugged, assholes when it comes to male characters. All of my stories usually have smut or sex scenes involved or on the table (or the plot requires them), but I would say that I always want plot in my stories that I write to keep it driving things forward even if it's something small.


Note: I currently only wish to play female submissive leaning characters, but can switch with the right plot or partner.
However, I am not the type of person to play a "wilting flower" or somebody that will instantly fall for your character (if at all). So, expect a lot of back/forth, sass, and loads of some brattiness. While I'm not the best at them, I do love the occasional fight scene or politics.

What to expect from me...​ Plot driven stories: usually about 50/50 or more plot but we can discuss based upon the RP and what is appropriate! Communication: (I love to talk to my partners about story possibilities, our characters, ideas, etc. and it extends to if you just like to OOC chat, I am usually up for that as well!) Posts at least 3 times a week, but can occasionally post multiple times a day depending on my muse for our story. If I need a bit or get stuck I'll do my best to give you a head's up! I try to do order owed but sometimes if I'm having a block, I will skip. If I've kept you waiting more than a week, chances are I forgot/missed you so don't hesitate to reach out! Post length is about 600-3k words, though it varies upon what I am given and I can do more if it doesn't involve a lot of actions between our characters. Dialogue can get in the shorter range, for obvious reasons. I can play multiple characters if the scene or RP calls for it, so long as things don't get convoluted.

What I ask from you...​ Communication: please if you have any questions, cannot post for a length of time, or just simply aren't having a good time let me know! I would rather you tell me you aren't feeling it or have things going on rather than me sitting and wondering if I may have done something. I understand stuff comes up or muses are hard, all I'm asking for is a heads up! Preferably a post at least once a week, but I am willing to make exceptions so long as you let me know ahead of time and I know what to expect! Be able to post a few quality paragraphs. I don't need George R.R. Martin level scene description, but I need something to work with and react to otherwise things will fizzle out. Post in the third person and past tense (ex: Jimmy got up and walked to the television and he changed the channel for Susan)

Doesn't have to be THE devil. You can figure out the lore of your character however you want, or we can toss back-and-forth ideas.

Father's Right-Hand Man
Genre: Crime, Action, Dark Romance Setting: Modern, location negotiable
A wealthy business owner that is also a minor leader in a larger criminal underground is trying to marry off his daughter in order to gain more power. Her father's right hand [YC] wants to keep her for himself. In an act of betrayal, he kills her father and 'saves' her from being forced into a marriage to a different family. However, will her reluctant life with him be any better? What will the fallout be from the shift in power as the family stands on shaky feet and [YC]'s betrayal creates new enemies?
We don't need a specific 'kind' of crime family if we don't want from a certain place, but if we do PLEASE anything but the Italian mob.

Princess: Prisoner of War
Genre: Historical, Light fantasy, Dark Romance Setting: Past, location negotiable
For whatever reason, our nations are fighting and YC is the crown prince to the throne of [Nation]. [MC] is mistaken as the princess of Aelderia and taken captive with the intention of forcing a union between the two to unite the nations in trade and end a decade long war. However, will [MC] be able to save herself or become victim to the cruel prince's games?

The Deal With My Boss...
Genre: BDSM, Dark Romance Setting: Modern, Location Negotiable
[My character(Samantha Winters)] just got the job of her dreams (we can maybe figure out a common interest between us for the field). She makes a major screw up and [Your character] offers a deal, do whatever he wants for six months on a probationary period as well taking a demotion (basically a glorified secretary... with benefits) or lose her job. Left with no other choice unless she wants to move back home when her student loans are going to be coming out soon, she takes his deal. What will she do when she realizes that she may have gotten in over her head as his orders seem to get more and more depraved? Or worse, what if she ends up enjoying it more than she imagined that she would?

Wanting some BDSM and control elements with this. And no, I haven't seen The Secretary but I DID read the Wikipedia article on the entire plot once before I decided I didn't want to watch it! :) I just have always wanted to do this plot but never seem to complete it.

Life's Dramatic Adventures The Dragon and The Maid- A girl with 'family issues' works part-time at a cosplay café, is a student leader at her university, oh... and her dad promised to marry her off to a dragon deity. Telling her dad to shove it, she tries to move on with her life. However, what happens when fate pushes them together and they need one another to survive? Very anime-esque and sometimes silly.
Skeletons in Our Closet- A young woman meets a serial killer and is kidnapped by him after she steals something important to him. Their meeting changes both of their lives.
Titanium Deities- Cyberpunk story set in the future about two childhood friends who use mech fighters.
To Catch a Thief- Steampunk dark romance story about a girl that steals from the wrong person and winds up a servant to a pair of the best thieves in London. My longest-running story on IS
