I'm Kate: writer, daydreamer, and lover of all things art.

Twenty-six years old female in the U.S.

Immensely interested in how all of this works, and I can't wait to get my proverbial feet wet. Please be patient and kind with me as I get my bearings and learn how to operate here. On the same token, please be direct and open with your suggestions and constructive criticism. I'm alive every day to live and grow as a human.

Very into horror, realistic, comic, surreal, and dramatic stories.

Now for the nitty-gritty of what I hope to write with you...

My current obsession is creating an "anthology horror roleplay" with a partner or with partners. The idea is- we create 'episodes' together, playing various characters. One of us will be the chief writer/storyteller for each episode. They all take place in one town... and though they are all separate stories, many of the characters/situations connect. (Think "Pulp Fiction" or "American Horror Story") I have lots more to say on this but methinks you get the idea. Contact me with questions and ideas and we'll discuss.

Besides that, I'd love to meet you, talk about writing, and participate in whatever roleplays grab my interest.

Oh, you know... I had a trapper keeper full of loose leaf paper onto which I had pencil-scrawled a frenetic, nonsense story about a talking cat detective when I was... nine? If you count that, a pretty long time...

What about you?
 
I've been Role playing for 10-ish years. I've loved writing and creating stories since I was very small, the first outlet being decently detailed 'playing pretend' where I'd have story lines and histories to the little characters I and my friends played. XD I've always had the need to make up and tell stories. x3
 
YES. I bet a lot of us were next-level pretenders when we were kids. I remember humming the soundtrack to a game I was playing with this kid and she was like "Uh, can you please stop?"

She didn't appreciate or understand my production values, obv.

I'm glad you like it. I'll explain some of my ideas to you sometime for that one. I suspect you'd be the perfect partner for it! :)
