Hi there everyone!
I've roleplayed for a long time but never on this site before, so I'm excited!
While I've recently found Discord to be a really convenient format, there's something nostalgic for me about setting up a profile on a forum to meet like-minded creatives.
If we ever interact, you can expect professional, fun, and clear communication from me, even if I have to throw my hands up and admit I'm all out of steam. Because I'm a tutor, I'm often at my desk, so I should be easy to reach. However, I do have other creative commitments in my life that sometimes take up valuable spoons.
[For those unaware, spoon theory is something that autistic people like myself like to use to convey the amount of energy we dedicate to various tasks in our life. I think on Twitter a while back, some people were using phrases like "It's a no bones day!"; the concept is similar but relates to my disability specifically.]
My favorite genre is slice of life, and I'm a big softie that loves romance. All my stories involve LGBT themes, and I would be uncomfortable around anyone who requested otherwise, lol. Historical fiction is also enjoyable for me, but when working on anything, I try to deep dive and prepare as best I can to give the best responses I can. I try very hard not to post generically or write dense paragraphs just for the sake of length. When I get creative, I try and leave things to the imagination just as much as I lean into my vocabulary. Regardless, I do my best to match length and prefer to frequently chat OOC to plot with my partners as often as I can.
I'm hoping to gather some OCs into an easy-to-browse layout to pair with a request thread I have in mind to make. I'd be deeply appreciative if someone could link me to their favorite character bio sheet or template; or a request thread template if you have one.
