Hi there! My name is Aeon and I am pretty new to role playing. I am very excited to try it out though (even though I'm normally pretty shy and introverted but I'm trying ok). Everyone here seems to know what they are doing and I am slightly intimidated to be honest.
I really enjoy fantasy stories and honestly most anything to do with magic. I also really like historical fiction as long as it is an alternate reality where the bigotry and the such do not exist.
So uh… hi. I am very excited to try this site out.

Hello Aeon, Welcome to I.S. I'm glad you decided to give this a try and I hope you like it. There are a lot of great people here looking for co-authors to write within the categories you enjoy so if you take some time and look around I'm sure you'll find what you are looking for. As for being new, I know it can be intimidating to look at and try to wrap your head around all at once. My advice here would be to simply read a bunch of threads that are already taking place. Don't post on them of course but read them like you're in a library. Find the category that suits your style and read how others write and what they write to get a feel for it and when you are comfortable start making requests for people who are looking for co-authors.
