Hola,

My name is The_Haans - But really, you can just call me Haans. I've been roleplaying for somewhere around 15 years and started with Play-By-Post RPG's on MSN and Yahoo groups and eventually graduated to Multi-User-Dungeons (MUD's / MOOs / MUSH) and played those consistently until around 5 years ago when I started getting into LARP. You could say I've been a regular nerdslide of excitement and entertainment and frankly I have missed the play-by-post style where quality writing and lengthy participation are encouraged and appreciated.

I did a handful of years in the military, got injured, got out, did some work in law enforcement and now I do stuff and things for money to survive like any other meatbag mortal.

Truth be told, I found this place on a whim and the idea of having an engaging play-by-post opportunity is super exciting and intriguing because like I said above, I missed it and enjoy the medium. I look forward to becoming and active member of the community and engaging in wonderful collaborative writing with you all and may I write with you soon!

Welcome! What branch were you in if you don't mind me asking? Also, it's awesome that you Larp! I want to do that one day! For now I cosplay though.

No worries! I was in the US Army, and LARP is great and I've done a handful of various genre's of it. Cosplay is amazing and I've done it exactly ONCE, I really respect the dedication. =)

Cool! I actually won at a contest last year and hope to enter at least one or two this year. Have plans to go to at least 2 more cons, possibly as many as 4 if things work out. :3 Cosplay takes a lot of dedication, this is true, but I'm sure Larping does, and Army DEFINITELY does haha. My FIL is actually a nurse in a military hospital. He's Army as well.
