Some plotlines I occasionally run through in my head that I figured I could turn into threads. It's almost 5am so hopefully they make sense. Let me know if you're interested in any of them!
I prefer multi-para writers who are open to OOC chat and discussion (during which I will probably swear and use a lot of text speech, just warning you now) and who either already have or are willing to make a character sheet. I only play male and genderqueer characters, and on that note, you MUST be LGBT-friendly to RP with me. If we do start a thread together I'll try to reply at least once a week at minimum but my life is genuinely crazy and sometimes it's just not possible; please either be patient with me or look elsewhere for a RP partner.

PREMISE:
MC is a young witch who, for mysterious reasons, has broken ties with his old coven and moved across several state lines to open a shop in a bustling city. Though the streets are constantly crowded, his shop is unnoticed by most; it will only reveal itself to the non-magical eye during the time of a person's greatest need, and even then, the person themself must possess a genuinely kind heart for its heavy iron gates to open. Once MC fulfills the guest's need their memories of the shop and its keeper blur. The magically sensitive few find that they can no longer seem to recall what street it was on, or what products lined its shelves and tables. Most don't remember it exists at all.
YC, in desperate need, is guided to the shop by the sound of a haunting cello, the way all of the shop's human guests are. But YC doesn't forget. In fact, YC decides to visit the shop again...at an incredibly inconvenient time. YC, caught in the crossfire between MC and his malicious old coven members, ends up cursed. Luckily there's a witch on hand who feels guilty enough to try and help break it.

WARNINGS/CONCERNS/NOTES:
- Heavy themes involving mental health and trauma
- The vague plot in my head would require each of us to sometimes play several characters just to keep things moving (YC's friends/family, MC's magical business acquaintances and shop guests, members of MC's old coven, etc). If that seems like too much we can throw together a different plot that's more focused on MC and YC to eliminate the hassle
- I like to focus on platonic and found family relationships, but if you want to gradually develop their relationship into a romantic one, I'd really only be interested for this one if it was gay. I also don't write sex scenes so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ take that into consideration I guess lol
PREMISE:
A can see ghosts; this could be a recent development, or something that they've lived with since birth. B is a recently-killed spirit, hellbent on getting revenge on their murderer, who will do whatever it takes to convince A to help them.

WARNINGS/CONCERNS/NOTES:
- Death, obviously. Other than that I'm not sure, I haven't thought about this one too deeply. Just seems like a funny dynamic. Imagine some random dead guy bugging the absolute shit out of you until you agree to kill his killer
PREMISE:
MC is a not-so-peaceful forest spirit who viciously defends the land they live on from the ever-increasing threat of humanity. YC is the wildlife biologist attempting to trap, tag, and study the animals in the forest that all the locals tell them to be wary of...

WARNINGS/CONCERNS/NOTES:
- MC is not bound by the idea of human gender and will be referred to with they/them pronouns
PREMISE:
YC wakes up strapped to the bottom portion of a bunkbed in an otherwise unfurnished room with no idea who they are or how they got there. MC, in the top bunk, explains that this is how everyone starts The Program - a hellish research project centered on people who possess unexplainable abilities. Eventually, they escape together - but with the bands on their ankles suppressing their abilities and no idea how to function in a world where every decision is yours to make, how will they survive, much less keep The Program from finding them again?
