Most of you know how I like to set things out, so if you will:
The world is rife with thieves. The black market is as active as ever, and there are countless treasures belonging to people with far too much money to ever miss them. A man, desperate to get out of his dead end job, decides to try his hand at thievery. As it turns out, he's better at it than anything he's done before.
He can't do all these jobs himself though, he needs a partner (spoilers: that's YOU). Together, they plan, scheme, and steal their way into infamy. The man's main goal, to reach the top of every wanted list in the world, giving him the unofficial title of "King of All Thieves".

Alright, that's cool, right? Lot of stuff to dig into there. I totally agree.
I like semi-para to full paragraphs for RP format, but it really just depends on the interaction between characters. You don't need to type an essay when you're just saying "hello". I enjoy literate RPs, but everyone makes mistakes, I'm no perfectionist.
Now, for this one, I'm gonna need someone confident enough to carry the plot by themselves at times, because there will be a lot of instances when the characters aren't together while stealing. Splitting up tends to speed things up when you're robbing someone.
A second thing. This won't be a continuous RP. What does that mean, you ask? Well, the way to write this more effectively would be to break it up episodically. The pair find someone to rob or something to steal, plan, prep, execute. There will most likely be a lot of time-skipping, since a continuous stream of time would lead to PLENTY of moments where absolutely nothing happens for long periods of time. That isn't fun, I completely agree with you.
I don't really care if the pair is MxF, or MxM. Doesn't bug me. Two MxM bros aiming to steal the world, romantic MxF partnership, or a MxF team who's interests just happen to align with no interest in each other physically. That part's up to you.
I can't imagine it'll get TOO gory, but there will be violence, death, and all that stuff. I'd like a decently active partner, but we're all busy, so if it takes a few days, that's no big deal.
Feel free to shoot me a PM or respond here and we can nail down things like exact setting, characters, all the less exciting parts of being a thief.
