Hello! I'm Rotten and I am very new to these types of roleplay sites. I've only ever done super simple sites so hopefully I'm doing this right!
I have been roleplaying for 6-7 years now? Something like that but I've only recently become and adult so a lot of my early rp experiences were in middle school and high school. Never good. I usually just write whatever tickles my fancy! It's mostly supernatural/fantasy related, romance, angst, action, all that good jazz.
Also, for sexual content I will only do gay/lesbian pairings. I don't mind having our main characters be a BxG couple, I'm just not so into sex like that. Smooching and spicy stuff aside from that is okay though!
My writing is pretty informal and low.level in my opinion. I might break out a fancy word here or there but English was never my best subject. My replies maybe be pretty short compared to what people wrote on this site. I don't do one liners and I try to match my partners lines. I just can't do multiple paragraphs each reply.
My tolerance for gore is like a 50-70% I'd say? On the site I've always used, gore never came up too often so I'm not sure how I handle it in writing form all that well. Sexual content is something I'm familiar with though I'd say I'm pretty vanilla? Most kinks and stuff confuse me so I just avoid them so I don't look stupid.
I don't often do fandom rps anymore but if you just ask me about an anime, I've either already watched it or it's on my list. So just ask and I'll probably say yes if it's an anime. As for books. Wings of Fire is still absolutely awesome. Sure it's a kid series but I just love dragons. Wereworld is pretty cool too. Now onto games. Fire Emblem is always nice. That's about it.
Other cartoons and shows, just ask and I'll let you know!
Settings and pairings are something I come up with along the way.
Plots. At the current moment, I have one I really want to do! It would probably take a little bit to explain (I'm real bad at explaining things I feel) but i have a few other detailed plots on my arsenal.

So, you know those dreams you have where you live out what feels like years in some super awesome world and create a whole life for yourself, only to wake up and feel just so disappointed and empty? My idea sorta revolves around that whole concept!!
Now more detailed:
Muse A has been having... weird dreams lately. They always wakes up in a strange place, fully conscious of what they are doing but they knows it just has to be a dream. They've been brought to this fantastical world, well, worlds where they slowly begin to make a life for themself, meeting new people and going on grand adventures. But at some point, they always wakes up. They feels a sense of dread that they have just lost years worth of experiences but once they go back to sleep, they wake up in their "dream world" where things last left off.
One of Muse A's long time friends from his supposed dream world is Muse B. They met on one of Muse A's first dives into that strange new world and became inseparable ever since. Muse A never thought of Muse B as anything more than a figment of their imagination but after waking up in the real world one day, Muse A is going to one of their classes and runs into someone, someone that looks strikingly similar to their Muse B. Things only get weirder from there. Muse B seems to recognize A as well but is very standoffish and rude towards A in the real world. Once A falls asleep that night, Muse B in their dream world is acting different as well, berating them with questions. They both come to realize that maybe the life they've been living in their dreams isn't so fake.
This would probably turn into a long term rp. How I planned this this that they live through quite a few major events in their dream world that span over possibly years (dream time) before they discover one another in real life. Of course we can shorten that. I just like to plan ahead. Of course there can be time skips as well and stuff. We can discuss any questions you have
