Morgan Rose Singer
Age: 23
Birthday: October 9th
Nicknames: Mo, coined by her uncle
Appearance: Standing at 5 feet, 2 inches tall, Morgan drew the short stick when it came to genetics. Courtesy of her mother, she inherited light brown hair, a set of bright, hazel eyes, and a ridiculously fast metabolism. To keep a steady weight of 125 pounds, she has to eat like a linebacker.
Likes: The smell of fresh rain, cake, hiking, hunting, and leather
Dislikes: Cigarette smoke, hard liquor, being told she's incapable, and being treated like a child
Favorite Scent: Apple pie
Personality: As stubborn as her uncle Bobby, and just as feisty, yet hasn't let her life render her distant or emotionless. Morgan enjoys a good laugh and can easily hang with the best of the boys.
Background: Growing up an only child, Morgan never knew her father. Her own mother didn't even know who he was. Margaret Singer made a terrible habit of staying out late and bringing a different man into the house every other week. She was never violent, but incredibly neglectful of her daughter, making it necessary for the girl to fend for herself by any means possible. This often meant begging for change or taking money from her mother's purse while the woman slept the day away.
At the age of 13, the two were evicted from their apartment and forced to couch hop with anyone willing to shelter them. Her mother's destructive lifestyle continued, until the years of alcoholism caught up with Margaret and her liver failed. Morgan was 17, at the time, with meager pay working as a waitress and no roof over her head. It soon became clear that she may have to drop out of school to work fulltime. That is, until her uncle Bobby heard the news.
Bobby had been attempting to track down his sister and niece for years, desperate to give Morgan a better life, but Maggy wouldn't hear of it. Without any evidence, the man couldn't go to the police, either, and was simply forced to watch his sister spiral down the drain.
Morgan had managed to stay in contact with Bobby, over text and call, and was the one to break the news to him. Without a second thought, he offered her his home in order to let her graduate. He proceeded to teach her how to fix her own car and defend herself from all manner of man and beast. Much to his dismay, his teachings piqued her interest in the supernatural, thus dooming her to the life of a hunter.
