Minnie is an all around overly enthusiastic woman with an interest in the human psyche. She was sheltered the majority of her life in an insanely wealthy home where she was home schooled all her life, so at times can come off naive or ignorant to world issues and just general day to day happenings (aka how to cook, how to do laundry, how to pay bills etc...) Minnie is a very empathetic person, and tends to feel for everyone no matter who they are or what they've done which can land her in awkward, sometimes compromising positions as she just wants to help people. She has a horrible sense of character, and will generally trust anyone. Minnie loves animals, rain, any warm drink and music whilst also enjoying politics, crime shows and psychological thriller novels. She is a bit of a brat, doesn't know how to take no for an answer as her parents gave her everything she's ever wanted for without hesitation and now on her own it's a little hard to get used to not getting her way. Minnie is rarely, but can be quick-witted and have a sharp tongue when pushed too far but tends to keep her thoughts to herself unless the situations warrants it. She isn't a pushover, though, as hard headed as her Puerto rican father and has hot tempered as her Taiwanese mother.

Minnie was born to two loving parents, a first generation female immigrant from Taiwan who went on to be an immigration lawyer herself and a second generation Puerto rican man who is a traveling coach and personal trainer for sports stars. Because of her parents professions Minnie grew up in a beautiful mansion esque home, and wanted for nothing her entire life. Despite this her parents were rarely home and she was mainly raised by the house staff and surrounding family members, and this isolation was furthered when her over protective mother decidedly pulled her only daughter out of public school in grade one and home schooled her until her high school graduation date. This led to Minnie being slightly socially inept and mostly naive of the worlds going ons, slang lost on her and things like drugs, alcohol and sex being totally foreign concepts she only reads about in books and watches on TV.

After her graduation date at age eighteen Minnie remained at home with her parents, spending her days writing in her journals and studying true crime, psychology and mental health as a side task. Her mother was dead set on finding a wealthy Taiwanese man for her to marry, someone who would take good care of her daughter, but after two years of the same old thing and controlling (but loving) parents Minnie grew tired of it all and confronted her parents about moving out and starting her own life. They immediately attempted to crush any of her hopes and dreams, using bribing tactics and explosive arguments to convince Minnie that she wouldn't survive all by herself. No less, when she turned twenty Minnie legally had the right to collect her inheritance and she immediately took to Los Angeles where she paid out a years worth of rent for an apartment, applied and paid the first years tuition at a University where she would study Psychology and bid farewell to her furious and worried parents.

Here Minnie remains, learning her way around the world and attempting to make friends despite her social anxiety and inability to connect well due to so many years of isolation. Without any knowledge on how to pay bills, cook, do laundry or take public transit its a struggle for the young woman and sometimes she wonders if she should have just married a rich man to make her life that much easier. Then she remembers that she would never marry someone she doesn't love, and trudges forward.

Allora is intensely passionate about music, her father once a man of many lyrics and instruments she knows how to play the guitar, the piano, the violin, the cello, the flute and so many more because of him. She sings, and she writes her own songs and she's very creative. Despite this, due to misfortune in her life she's never pursued music as a career and instead pursued less morally aligned careers. Stripping, escorting, snitching, stealing, drug dealing; you name it, she's done it. Allora is a sharp tongued woman who one would not wish to cross, as she has a mean right hook and will hurt you without any reservation. She takes no shit, is a rather disloyal person so trusting her would be a bad mistake as she loves to snitch on dealers and thieves for a price from the NY police department and all around she's just not a great person. But if you can wiggle your way into her heart she is fiercely protective, and will go to the ends of the earth for anyone she deems deserves it. She enjoys night time, drinking, driving and animals of all kinds.

Allora was born in a tiny town in Northern British Columbia, October nineteenth as a healthy baby girl to her American immigrant mother who is an Apache Aboriginal, and a French Canadian father. Her mother worked in the oil field industry as a pipe fitter and brought home most of the money whilst Allora's father remained home with the children and sold his music on the market, as he was once just as passionate about music as his first daughter was. He always played music with her, wrote songs with her, and taught her how to play numerous instruments. When Allora's younger sister was born things went sideways, however, her mother falling into Postpartum depression Kevin had to quit his music career and take up any high paying job available, which ended up being a mining job, to help provide for his sick wife and two daughters. This plan didn't bode well with anyone in the family, and eventually a divorce was in its making. Unbeknownst to Allora Kevin suffered from alcoholism most his life and shortly after her thirteenth birthday and the finalization of his divorce Kevin Labelle committed suicide via gun shot wound due to the mounting pressure of losing his family and having given up his music career for said family. Allora was the one to find him when Darla dropped her and her sister off for a weekend one morning.

Kevin's death unhinged Allora's mother and she began bringing numerous men home on a regular basis, seemingly in an attempt to fill a void her late ex-husband left in her. Allora eventually slipped into the mother role, having to raise her little sister and soon after also raise her two half brothers, both with differing father's. Her mother was either busy working, as the oil field industry forced her to be away nearly twelve to fourteen hours a day and when she wasn't at work she was at the town's local bar. The years waned on and Allora's only escape from the hell her mother put them all through with her emotional outbursts and disappearances was her music that her father had introduced her to. Her guitar, piano, and her songs. She kept her grades up and when she was sixteen picked up a part time job at a small diner in town and began saving every penny. She had to keep it a secret from her mother however, who would surely take the money to put towards the bills she continually forgot to pay. Upon her graduation date Allora finally bid farewell to her family after buying a one way ticket to New York City. Her eldest sister now sixteen promising to take care of the others, Darla was furious. She called her eldest daughter a number of expletives as a friend picked her up to drive her to the airport and told her to never come back, because she would never welcome her back home. Allora, in pain but with a six month visa in hand and a dream to follow took her flight and landed in New York the next day.

It was unfortunate that this dream never panned out, as finding an apartment and job with a six month visa was near impossible. Allora found herself sleeping out of homeless shelters and scrounging every penny she had for food and clothing to keep her warm during the impending winter. New York was a harsh city, and she made little money busing with her guitar and voice, she could normally be found in the Subway. This is where she met Trey, a man with a big promise that turned out to be a big lie. He lured Allora with tips on how to survive in New York, and gained her full trust when her visa ran out and he 'married' her to help her gain official dual status. This was a mistake, however because now Allora owed Trey. He had her deal for him, introduced her to drugs and alcohol and ultimately Allora ended up entering the sex industry to help pay her and Trey's rent. She started off as a Cam girl, moved onto Stripping and then Escorting. It wasn't until she was twenty that Allora managed to find an easier, better paying job to help her leave Trey. She became an Intel Operator for the NYPD, or as many like to call it a 'snitch.' She began by snitching out Trey's clients as they came, stashing away the extra money she was receiving in a private bank account. It took five months but eventually she saved up enough to get her own apartment and she immediately broke up with Trey, who lividly attacked her.

She ended up in the hospital for nearly a month, and was able to press charges and file a restraining order. Allora moved away from her illegal forms of making money and she receives her income primarily by gathering information from street dealers and petty criminals and selling that information to the NY PD. This supports her enough that she can remain unemployed with an apartment, nice clothes, and food on her table. Never mind that this business might one day get her caught and taken out by some of the worst criminals around, she's smart, she knows what she's doing. She's not afraid.

Izzi is generally a very prickly person, after so many years of being able to see ghosts, interact with demons and all around see things she doesn't want to be seeing on a daily basis she's lost trust in nearly everyone. It doesn't help that her father was an avid church goer, Catholic by all rights, and forced his daughter to follow the vert strict lifestyle of a Catholic girl. Though not naive Izzi is definitely innocent in many ways - but she's still sassy, brash and hard to get along with. If you get to know her she's incredibly loyal however, and will go to the ends of the earth for those she loves.

Izzi was born to a devoted Catholic church man and a junkie mother who had left Mateo and their daughter before Izzi turned one. She was found deceased in a ditch near Portland when Izzi was twelve from an overdose. From the beginning Izzi was a quiet and contemplative child, one that listened to her father diligently and never once strayed from his strict ruling. However, when she turned six her ability to see beyond normal realms came to light and this strained her and her father's relationship. Father Alejandro, the priest of St. Augustine and a registered Exorcist for the Vatican took Izzi under his tutelage after Mateo begged him to fix her, believing her gift was demonic in nature. Father Alejandro saw potential, however and began to train Izzi as an exorcist. She had natural talent in seeing the souls of demons in possessed humans, and reaching past the veil to connect with spirits. However, Izzi seemed to attract anything beyond the veil as her soul was much like a lighthouse, something about her drawing them in so she was strictly raised between the church and her father's home a block away from the church for her protection. She did her schooling within the church, made friends within the church and never missed a Sunday Mass. Unless of course her father left any evidence of his abuse on her body, in where she would remain home until the bruising or maiming healed properly.

Mateo, despite Father Alejandro's message that Izzi is special, still believes his daughter's ability is not natural. When she was ten he took a knife to her and carved a cross into her right shoulder. He beat her when she used her ability, or showed any sign of using her ability around him and when she woke up from nightmares he would force her to remain up all night to avoid them. But Izzi had little care and love to go off of, so she held love for her father despite everything. When she turned eighteen Izzi started college for the first time, moving into the dorms and given a blessed diamond cut cross necklace from Father Alejandro for protection, trained enough to keep herself safe but close enough to the church if she needed to return; she was aiming for a degree in History. A year later, however Mateo fell ill with Lyme's disease and Izzi had to drop out to care for him. It was a trying time, taking care of a father that she both loved and hated, watching him wither away to nothing. It eventually drove Izzi insane, the overbearing church family she once loved doing nothing but annoying her now, the frequency in visits from demons and ghosts and creatures from beyond the veil heightening the day of her father's funeral while everyone is distracted Izzi packs her things and takes off, moving miles away without leaving a hint to anyone as to where she's gone. Fending for her life, picking up a full time job at a clothing store and going drinking nearly every other night to forget about how crap her life has been, even with being the perfect little Catholic girl - she's honestly ready to let the demons take her by now.

Sasha is a highly introverted artist who prefers her canvas and paints over social interaction. Despite this, however she is a highly empathetic person who when she gets to know people is loyal to a fault. Her mother and father raised her to be outspoken, but she is only so when needed and though a humorous quick-witted person her anxiety halts her from really showing her true colors most of the time. Sasha dealt with horrible bullying as a child all through school, first in middle school for being a 'ginger with no soul' and 'weird' then in high school as a lazy skip student due to her lack of attendance. Because of this, Sasha felt alienated and refused to make any friends in school and can be difficult to get along with due to her mistrust from the past.

Sasha grew up in a middle-class neighborhood on the West end of LA, her mother a business lawyer for her brother's company and a single mother to Sasha for the first eight years of her life. Sasha's father past away when she was two in an unfortunate car accident while he was gone on a business trip. Lauri birthed Sasha's half sister Tina with her boyfriend at the time, but he never stuck around which brought Sasha, Tina and her mother very close. They became even closer when Sasha was diagnosed with an auto-immune disease known as Lupus in eighth grade. For the first few years it was hard, but tolerable for Sasha however by the time High School came around Sasha's kidneys began to fail.

She was in and out of the hospital constantly, barely making it to school she relied on many online courses and when she did make it to school she was brutally judged and condemned by her peers. Some assumed she was a bad student, other's a 'rebel' and some even went so far as to start a rumor that she fell pregnant in grade nine and wasn't in school a lot because she was raising a kid. Sasha never clarified any of the rumors, never finding a reason to, but because she spent so much time in the hospital Sasha never worked out how to speak with other people and became horrifyingly shy, catering to her already present anxiety disorder. While in the hospital however she found a love for poetry and art alike, which was her break through for her current passion.

By the time she was out of High School and applying for University Sasha had both kidneys removed and replaced thanks to two wonderful donors and was on the path to recovery. She kept up with a great work out schedule, ate healthy and took pain medication whenever needed. Sometimes she tends to take too much when not needed, but when moving into her Universities dorms she didn't have her mother around hounding her about the amount she took anymore. Sasha was accepted into a high-end arts program after the departments head fell in love with her art portfolio, and her mother and her mother's family continues to help her pay the tuition.

When she turned twenty and heading into her third year of University Sasha moved out of the dorms and into a small condo a few blocks away. Though her mother didn't want her to due to the area being considered 'shady' Sasha wanted to do something for herself, independent as she was. She has a job teaching art classes to aspiring high school artists part time now and continues classes for her bachelor's degree in fine arts. She adores her home, her golden retriever Charlie, her Lupus hasn't flared up in nearly two years and she especially loves how quiet and calm her condo is. Her life is going pretty well, just sometimes a little boring.

Though born in captivity Chelle is an incredibly brilliant woman with little reservation when talking with others. She is bold, calculative and very aware of who she is and what meaning her life has. She speaks rarely, but when she does tends to talk excessively. Chelle can be a horrifyingly vengeful person, and has no qualms in killing or maiming others to get her way. She is witty, beautiful and knows it well.

Chelle was born in captivity, the Greek's were well known for the gap between their rich and poor and taking their own poor as slaves was not uncommon. She grew up with her mother on a Noble man's property. Speculation that the Noble man was her father circulated, but nothing was ever proven to be true. When Chelle was born her white hair and blue eyes came as a shock to everyone, and many on the Noble man's property believed her to be a bad omen. She was almost put to death on numerous occasions but survived due to her mother's protective nature. It wasn't until Chelle learned how to talk that things went wrong for the sweet young girl who fetched water for the Noble Man and his family, as she began to foretell people's future. In a fit of rage the Noble Man's wife beat Chelle at the age of eight after she relayed to her that her husband has been cheating on her profusely, and would continue to until the day they both died miserable and regretful. She was not to speak to anyone but her mother again.

Two years later Chelle attempted to tell the Noble Man and his family that his oldest daughter who she'd grown a liking to would soon die from an invisible illness, and that he needed to find her a doctor. Angry the Noble Man dismissed Chelle with a slap, and a month later when his beloved daughter did pass away he took his anger out on a little Chelle who'd only be
en trying to help. He sewed her mouth shut to be sure she never spoke to him, or his family again and then sold her to a slave caravan for very little money. As can be expected Chelle's mother was hysterical, but there was no happy ending for her or her daughter. Chelle was taken, beaten, raped and repeatedly tortured by the slavery caravan. She was sold numerous times until eventually ending up in the hands of a brothel at age fifteen.

Here the Madame removed Chelle's stitches, and aided in her recovery. Chelle never went on to be a whore herself, rather took care of the cleaning and cooking in the building. She remained here until she was seventeen, by this time the scars on her lips nearly invisible and her premonitions kept at bay through sheer will. Until she foretold someone's future without meaning to, someone important - a general for the Rulers army. She had foretold his having a happy life with a good family, a beautiful wife and two healthy sons. Believing in her words, and knowing of the tales of prophetess' from far lands the general paid a hefty price and took Chelle with him back to their Ruler.

Here Chelle became a resident Prophetess, nothing short of an entertainment piece for the Ruler and his army, plus those who he wished to impress from other lands. Over the two years she remains in the castle Chelle becomes proficient in the art of lying to keep herself safe, her true premonitions normally remaining to herself and only herself. The Greeks believe she is sent from the God's and Goddesses to steer the Ruler in the right direction at all times, and in general Chelle does her best by her people by keeping the Ruler in check with real and fake premonitions. She has not been harmed since her days at the brothel, and enjoys her time in the castle, but feels that her people and land are coming to a dark end very soon, very fast.
