Hello! I'm BlueKat, but you can either call me Blue, or Kat, the choice is yours. I'm a 23 year old female.
A little about my name and why I picked it. Fun fact! Blue is my favorite color! Kat, is my actual nickname but I always like to play with it considering it is Cat but with a K.
I've been role playing for several years now, I think I started back in my senior year in 2014. I don't remember how I got into it really, I think it came from the fact that one, I was an advanced English student who loved writing and was damn good at it. And two, that I had started writing a fandom story I think a year or so before that or maybe even longer a period of time, that had to do with High School Musical. (I know! You're like ohhh she's one of those girls! Guilty! Zac Efron will forever be my crush!)
Any who! I was also big into performing in musicals and plays myself, back in school. So I thought it would be cool to actually "act out" my fandom story with someone. Therefore I did some research and voila! I came across my very first RP Forum. The first forum I joined was a simple pg-13 one. It had a lot of kids my age on there and so I looked over some requests and started role playing. I quickly fell in love with it, and as I got more into it I found myself wanting less limitations so I could really broaden my skill and make some really fun, interesting, stories. So I started searching for more adult oriented sites that were for 18+ and luckily came across my second RP site which was my home for a very long time. I was even a staff member there and it was great. Lot of wonderful memories. But eventually the site seemed to become nothing more than people wanting smut and that's not what I wanted. So I moved on.
I've role played over several platforms, ones that have been shut down, ones that lost my interest, and ones that will forever hold places in my heart. But alas, I like having options, especially when not much is going on. So I found this lovely place, and I really look forward to meeting new friends and partners or seeing old friends and partners that have just made this their new home.
I was gone for a long time. Life was kicking my ass and honestly still is. I have yet to be given a break from the insurmountable bull shit I've been dealing with for the past year but I feel at least strong enough now to get back to what I love. Role playing.
I do work now, thankfully after being unemployed for 8 months (insurmountable bull shit) but it's only part time so I was finding my free time very lonely and boring and hoped to fill that with role playing. My job is however, extremely exhausting for me, my body is not as strong as it used to be due to an emergency back surgery I had last year. So some days I just don't have the energy for anything. But for the most part I do give multiple replies a day, if my partner is able to get just as much out to me.
Sorry for the long winded intro! I look forward to meeting you all and coming up with some great stories. I'll have a RT up soon, but until then I shall browse all of your lovelie requests instead!
