Hello! Hi! Welcome! This is my Request Thread, where I'm going to tell you a bit about myself as a writer - perhaps some as a person as well - and hopefully you'll be able to get through all of it.

To start off, hi, I'm Merra! I've always loved writing, first in my native tongue, Finnish, but later on in English as well. I started roleplaying when I was like thirteen, and I'm twenty-nine now, so you do the math! First in chat rooms, but soon after forums. Most of the past ten years I've roleplayed on World of Warcraft and several multi-universe forums. My longest stretch on one site was Umbra Roleplaying, where I was a site helper for the past three years, until the site was sadly closed.

I'm writing this on 16th of June, 2022, and I'm currently going through my summer classes, which aren't a whole lot of work, so I've got plenty of time in my hands. Uni starts again in August, so till then, there's plenty of time to write! Still, I have other hobbies and a boyfriend that also demands some attention, so I'm definitely not available at all hours. My time zone is EEST or UTC/GMT +3, so our time zones might not align. Which isn't a problem to me, but something you might wanna keep in mind! ♥

About my writing…
I always struggle to say anything good about anything I make or do, but I'd like to think that despite not being a native English speaker, my English isn't awful.

I like to write descriptive posts, I enjoy describing the surroundings and feelings of my characters in depth, so my posts can get pretty long at times. Long posts don't equal good ones though, and I do my best to not add too much filler there for the length's sake. My aim is that my partner will have a good sense of my character, and the place they are at, physically and mentally, so they'll be something to react to in their posts after mine.

I also like to add images to my posts at times, mostly the beginning ones. Sometimes they can add to the vibe of the scene, or show a bit more than my descriptions of the place around is like. That said, I don't require you to do the same for me. ♥

About the characters…
I only play as females when it comes to main characters. I can write a side character that is male, but that's it.

Your characters, however, can be of any gender! I don't mind writing F/M or F/F, your characters don't need to be either of the two genders, or they can represent both. Whichever you feel most comfortable writing as! ♥

I like to use face claims, but I don't demand them from my partners. I would like them to be fairly realistic though, it kinda pulls me out of the scene if the other character is represented by an anime character. This isn't a hard limit though!

About my likes…
There are multiple genres I enjoy writing in, and we'll get to it in a bit, but I must say that I don't write canon. I don't mind some selected fandoms, but even in those fandoms, I don't want to roleplay canon characters, and I'd want you to play an original character as well. So if it's a fandom RP you're looking for, and want to play canon characters from a certain universe, I'm not your gal.

♥ The genres I enjoy most are modern, history, slice of life, fantasy, horror or mystery. I want there to be an aspect of romance in the plot!

I do not do sci-fi, or anything space related, just not my jam.

♥ The fandoms I enjoy currently are Harry Potter universe, GoT/ASOIAF or Warcraft.

About my limits…
There are some rules I'd like to set down. Obviously, the RP would have to align with the rules of the site as well, but I want to make a few things clear.

♥ I'm not looking for a relationship, I'm happy with my boyfriend, and while I'd be happy to make new friends, that's all I'm looking for.

♥ I only write in third person, and I only write characters that are not me.

♥ I only play females as my main character, but if you'd like to go multiples, I can write male side characters!

♥ I don't do simply smut for smut's sake, there would have to be some plot involved as well. At the very least, I need it to be 30% plot and 70% smut.

♥ Don't roleplay as my character in your posts. Don't write how my character reacts, don't write what my character does. Can they grab my character's arm? Sure! Can they assume my character doesn't pull their arm off of said grip? Nope!

♥ If I get a weird vibe from you, if I ever start feeling uncomfortable in my interactions with you, I will let you know, and I will excuse myself out of it. I'm really sorry if this hurts your feelings, but I'm here for fun, and once it stops being fun and starts making me feel anxious, I'm out. Full stop.

But honestly? It's been like a one in a hundred type of situation where people have refused to be kind and made my anxiety spike, so it's really not that big of an issue. I just want to be fully transparent here, this is just for fun, and I want us both to enjoy ourselves. ^^
