Happy Birthday!!
Welcome to the Sanctum
Good day to all who stop by!
My name is Tyn and I will be your host here at the Mulberry Inn.
Come tell me a story and have a drink on the house. I enjoy hearing all kinds of stories and even just perusing through the active requests.
I have been running this inn for about 14 years now, gathering and trading stories as the seasons come and go. Some of my favorites run along the genres of Fantasy, Action, Sci-fi, Suspense, 'Slice of Life' and Modern but are absolutely not limited to just these. I also enjoy fanfic stories and OC's for those universes. I am generally willing to do a bit of research on the topic as well if I am not as familiar.
My writing style is detailed and generally 2-3 paragraphs in length. This may vary depending on the frequency/style of our story but will always be something I will work out with you ahead of time. At this point in time I have a full time schedule and my time at the inn may be limited to once a day, at worst every other day.
Again, I love to hear all kinds of stories and I have very few limits when it comes to the content in terms of gore/sexual content. When it comes to sexual content, it must be something we discussed ahead of time that it will be included or a possibility. I am comfortable with just about any pairing but have limited experience writing from the male perspective. Always willing to try, but keep that in mind.
Lately I have been craving a Final Fantasy XIV based roleplay. [vague idea of OC's/WOL's- I have completed up to but not yet started Endwalker, so no spoilers please <3]
My other current craving is a tavern/bar style scene in a roleplay with one of us as a bartender and the other as a patron. The plot surrounding that can be anything you'd like, I'd just love to see that scenario played out.
Vague plots that have been dancing around in my head are as follows:
1. Mage's often make contracts or bind familiars to themselves to greatly enhance their strength. In this scenario a mage has freed a familiar from a (curse/trap/situation) and (unknowingly/accidentally/intentionally) bound the familiar to them. Follow the pair as they navigate working together in an Eat or Be Eaten world.
2. DnD style party setting: a small group of adventurers has come to town on their way to [insert party objective here]. We pick up as they enter the most dangerous part of their journey, potentially getting split off from the group and fighting for survival... or just relaxing at the hot springs and making off with all the loot.
3. (DnD Style*) Natural/demonic disaster apocalypse: Humans and other fantasy races lived together on earth, but the strain on earth's resources went too far and a series of widespread natural disasters took a toll on the countries of the world. Resources are scarce, infrastructure has been completely broken and the spawn of the underdark are making their way to the surface. The adventuring party is trying to address one of the cracks that has been spawning demonic creatures or just trying to survive in the world.
4. (DnD Style*) Zombie Outbreak: a zombie outbreak of unknown origins spread like wildfire and very nearly drove humanity underground to escape from it. but as they always do, they found a way to make it work and a rather lucrative new field of work began to boom. Zombie protection. Everything from armored transportation, repellants, weapons, buildings... you name it. Society bubbled itself up and continued on. However there were now beginnings of demands of people willing to risk it all and travel outside of developed areas. For research, to eliminate growing zombie nests, to scout out the next safe space for a new city.
5. (DnD Style*) Invasion: an alien/fantasy race has invaded and made life a living hell. They are here to take everything they can from us. Resources, land and labor. They treat us like livestock and have destroyed much of our world in their conquest. A rebellion is quietly brewing and fighters are needed. Rescue missions, setting up bases, driving back the invader's forces, stealing supplies, sabotaging equipment.. the needs for manpower are endless.
6. Sci-Fi setting: bustling space port with lots in and outbound traffic and spacecraft of varying sizes. Someone in the space port has made a poor choice, probably one of a long line of thefts and is in dire need of a getaway vehicle. Coincidentally there is a small craft leaving RIGHT NOW with either (a law enforcing individual who has important places to be as soon as possible OR a fellow poor choice maker who needs to get out ASAP)
All are welcome here. Humans, Aliens, Elves, Orcs, Shapeshifters, Demons, Angels, Avatars, Cyborgs... you name it. Just don't break my dishware or any of the furniture and we will get along just fine.
My direct messages are always open if you'd like to bounce an idea off of me or if you see anything above that you'd like to discuss.
Enjoy your stay!
*DnD Style: Typically a party of four, minimum of two. Choosing a character race and class from the DnD world and roleplaying those characters throughout the scenario.
