Description: As mentioned above, Jude strives for neutrality. He recognizes the importance for maintaining a balance in his environment. Note: Acting on this ideal is less about cradling equilibriums, and more about focusing control. If left to his own vices, he'll favor brutal tactics to re-enforce his family's power.
He has worn many masks throughout his life. One for the family. One for friends, and one for school. He used to keep himself guarded while continuously developing into his own strength. Now, he wears the masks for tolerating situations. Only his friends and younger brother Eden have seen his true self. His best friend Jaq has even felt it.
Perhaps it would be easy to lose one self under layers of facades, but I'll lend him some credit for being self-aware of his true desires. He only needs to step onto a roof top away from the dance of lies to keep in touch with his beliefs. Beneath the man who would pop his enemy, propose a new tax to the syndicate, or pass his brother an alibi, is a knee that will bend to pet a stray or the hand to anonymously dump 10k on a server.
This one has an awful soft spot for the elderly.

Backstory: In an alternate world, yet similar to our own, Jude is the heir of a global empire. Joy. There is nothing noteworthy about his childhood. What could be said is available for streaming from the video libraries of old Reality TV shows. He is probably fortunate to still know his childhood bestfriend Aether. He and his younger brother Eden are close as well. Other than that, his family dynamics are rather mundane despite the deviances. All sins are forgiven in the family name. He has played along with the stereo-types of firstborn child prodigy. Ironically, it is Eden who is the savant.
His family sunk their fingers into every avenue of power to be had. They govern the politics, finance, law, and religions of their world behind closed doors, either through stringent alliances or direct authority. To aid in their administration, they formed the Shetan Syndicate. So, there may be some truth in saying ten families rule the world (yeah, borrowing from some conspiracy theory shit, makes for fun plotting). Few people can be for certain how accurate that rumor is. The council likes to stir-in misinformation to the masses. Yep, they own the media too. Anyway, their holdings are vast and diverse, sometimes attributing to the whimsical musings of affluential family members. His cousin Candy, for example, relishes in an empire of her own—of yarn. She owns nineteen cats too.
Jude is expected to take his grandfather's seat as First Chair in the syndicate after graduation. Becoming world leader is quite the undertaking, which is why we see him continue to train, learn, and improve himself at the prestigious Crown Point University—yet, another financial institution his family owns. He has already succeeded where his father Dorion left off. Dorny?! never could learn to control his impulses and gain the sense of responsibility that the Chair would prefer to see in his successor. Few people know Dorion is the famous serial killer A Hundred Faces. Those who do, would be wise not to mention it. Jude is aware, if only because he has become the sentry to the family secrets.
For the purpose of this role-play, Jude's story begins on the first day of his sophomore year at Crown Point.
