In another place, another dimension… There exists a world called Caelumbra, this world is divided into two realms, one of light and the other of darkness. Two halves of one coin.At the center of the realm of light sits the empire of Nevaeh, a peaceful and serene place that embodies the qualities of pure hearts, love, kindness, selflessness, compassion and mercy.
At the center of Nevaeh itself is the white palace, a palace made of white marble and blessed by the gods of light, it is here the Nevaehin imperial family have governed the empire of light for centuries.
Around the white palace is a prosperous and bountiful city where the subjects of Nevaeh make their homes and plentiful farmlands that easily keep the whole empire well fed year after year.
Ruling Nevaeh is the Empress Seraphina Luminara, a beautiful and ethereal young woman who loves the people deeply and earns their unwavering love in return via her unending devotion to their wellbeing and safety.
Seraphina as the empress of Nevaeh wields an ancient and sacred relic of tremendous power gifted to the imperial family by the gods of light many, many centuries ago… a rod made entirely of shimmering clear crystal. This relic will only respond to the inner light of Nevaehin royal family members who truly keep goodness and selfless love within their hearts.
- The citizens of Nevaeh tend to have fairer shades of hair colors ranging from most shades of blonde, lighter shades of brunette and red. It's not excessively common, but it's not unheard of to see a Nevaehin with shades of pink, blue, green or even white hair.
- Nevaehins are immortal, they grow at a normal pace until the age of twenty, by which point the body ceases to age any further. They can however be killed.
- The crystal rod partly relies upon its wielder's inner light to function, which can lead to exhaustion depending upon how much power is used and how quickly.
The other realm that makes up the second half of Caelumbra is the black empire of Tenreth… a dark and corrupt place where hate, greed, cruelty, selfishness and the darker side of ambition is the embodiment of this empire.This empire of darkness is ruled by Dorien Nyxborne, a dark and beautifully handsome young man, he rules his empire with an iron fist and demands the loyalty of his subjects through fear of what dark unhinged cruel punishments may await those that even mildly displease him as he watches with a smile and maniacal glee in his ruby red eyes. Not that many Tenrethian citizens are any better.
Rumor has it that Dorien murdered his own father via poisoning in order to ascend the throne early. No one has been able to prove this for a fact though and those that might have tried for whatever ambitions, have turned up mysteriously dead.
No one tries to investigate the matter anymore.
Dorien wields a talisman that commands the powers of shadow and darkness named Gloomwrought, gifted to his ancestors many centuries ago by a mysterious and powerful eldritch being locked away in the void. The story told is that Dorien's (many greats) grandfather cast a spell to commune with any dark patron that might bestow their favor upon their line for their devotion to darkness and something reached out from the deepest and darkest parts of the universe, promising to add it's power to that of the Nyxborne bloodline if they vowed to one day find a way to set it free from it's cosmic prison.
- Like the Nevaehins, Tenrethians are also immortal, they age normally until the age of twenty, whereupon the body stops aging completely. They can however be killed.
- Tenrethians always have ghostly pale complexions, jet black hair and most commonly bright ruby red eyes, though it's not unheard of to see eyes of dark purple.
- The Tenrethian empire has grown in strength ever since making the pact with the mysterious void entity, making them a more serious threat to the Nevaehins, whom the Tenrethians have always wished to conquer and control.
