I am still new to the site and relatively new to roleplay I started with D&D so I can character roleplay. I need to work on my story roleplay and details. I'm hoping I can find someone who is ok with that. I like fantasy/ medieval as well as sci/fi.

My limitations are vore, gore, scat, piss, and blood. There may be more but can not think of them right now

I try to write at least 4 lines but strive for 2 paragraphs but still being new I dont always know what to add (I am sorry if this is disappointing but my background details are a little lacking like I stated above and I'm hoping to learn from my future partners.)

If you made it this far I appreciate you reading everything and hope this peeked your intrest. If it did peek your interest please pm me so we can talk things out.

Interested in starting a historical fiction/medieval fantasy thread with me?

I certainly could be. What did you have in mind I am rather open to suggestions.

Toying with the idea of 18th century Scotland, along those historical points. But added fantasy and fiction sprinkled throughout. Possibly a romance rp? What are you in the mood for or what kind of role-play have you been trying to start? I am also fairly new to the site so just trying to get something started. Medieval fantasy is usually my realm I just have recently began getting into scottish history and it has been fascinating so that is why I was toying with that idea. But I am fine with a different time period as well or anything along the medieval fantasy lines. Let me know what you think.

We can certainly try a medieval fantasy with Scottish tones to it I can break out some of my family heritage for that. It sounds interesting ma we lass.

How exciting! It will be my first Scottish role-play per say so we can definitely ease into it with a Scotland setting and test the waters. What kind of character would you like to play? I enjoy female roles but am fine with switching or even doubling as two characters at once if it plays into the storyline nicely. I would most likely play either a Scottish landowning lady, or leaning towards the fantasy side, perhaps a druid-type highlander.

Going with the scottish side in would be leaning towards the sea captain or the wandering brewer

Great! Do you have any specific plots you are wanting to play out or shall we create one here and now?

Let's make one together we are both happy with.

Sounds excellent.

Alright it has been a while since I have done this so I am just brainstorming out loud here, bounce ideas off of me and let me know what ideas you have.

For the beginning,
If I play the landowning scottish lady, we could have our characters meet due to some disruption or disagreement over some kind of new law or bill in the land, and your character could be coming to dispute that, and they could meet as a conflict to begin, that would get things started off with a bang, OR if I decide to play the druid highlander, perhaps they both meet on a rogue journey out in the highlands? Or if you captain a ship, maybe they meet before a great sea journey?

Or perhaps we meet at an event? If I am a lady and you are a brewer, that would cross our paths as well. Just trying to find mutual ground for our characters. What do you think?

You could be a tavern owner and you here about me selling my brew down by the docks.

That sounds good to me. Should we proceed as enemies after the conflict and have a rivalry or should we come to terms and work together somehow? What relationship basis should our characters have with one another?

I'm thinking maybe we strick a deal but we are butting heads most of the time.

Frenemies it is! I always enjoy a healthy rivalry with a bit of tension so that sounds great.

So we meet, develop the relationship, we need an obstacle of some kind, if you have something in mind let me know otherwise we can just play it out as it goes on. But I was thinking about the possibility of wars going on, adding to the stress of the era therefore making our characters work together in the end, even if they annoy each other. Or maybe we have to be on the run at some point due to a revolution or something along those lines. Two unlikely companions traveling together and tolerating one another for the greater good type thing. Let me know what you think!

Perhaps it could be arguing over the selling.and rights to my beer

Alrighty, would you like for me to start the thread or would you like to create it?

I think we should start with he side of the story since I am new to the town and kinda interrupting the flow of her business.

okay, will do. ill let you know when it is posted.
