When first I was invited here, I was uncertain I would frequent this site much; a kind friend, with whom I have been playing for over one year now, had invited me to this site a while back, and at that time I was in something of a literary doldrum. But, the lot of you are quite the delight. Whether in private messages or public chat, I have discovered kindly goblins, delicious vocal talent, interesting intellectuals, captivating conversationalists, and a surfeit of silliness. This is a pleasant community, to say the least.
That said... I'm largely introverted! Perhaps not as much as some, but I only feel energized and refreshed when I have had adequate opportunity to be alone. I got my start in writing as a child, and let me tell you - I was awful at it, for at least fifteen years. However, I always loved it. I have always loved video games, as well. Serendipitously, it was a video game that taught me how to write. I also enjoyed sketching with pencils for quite some time, but the hobby did not engage me as much as the others.
I have some skill in ballroom dancing, being able to perform more than a few steps in twelve different dances. I also have been tutored in fencing (epee is my preferred sword) for some years, by a gentleman who has been fencing for as long as I have been alive. Once I learn to ride a horse, I will be able to call myself a proper Victorian gentleman.
Beyond that, I enjoy tabletop roleplay. I cook meals at home a number of times a week, and occasionally bake on the weekends. I enjoy experimenting with creating edible decorations on pie crusts, and finding ways to make delicious foods with ingredients that aren't exactly exciting. I also clean, put the seat down, and am quite taken.
It's been lovely meeting some of you, and I look forward to meeting more of you.
