I'm Ren, age 26 and currently in GMT+0 but soon to be in GMT+4.
I RP'd a lot as a teenager, but have had quite a few years' hiatus since I graduated and began working full time. I've been inspired to get back into RPing because I've an idea for a group RP - I recently went to see the musical Cabaret and would love to bring the Kit Kat Club and its dark and sexy stories of roaring 20s decadence to life with a small to medium group of RPers. I will make a request post setting out the concept more fully but would be grateful for any views and advice in relation to running a group RP on this site!
More generally speaking, my favourite genres are action, supernatural and historical romance. I love researching historical context in order to create accurate settings, and mixing real places and events with fantasy and alternate realities. My most successful group RPs were (1) an action adventure inspired by the the trials in Hunter x Hunter and (2) a young royals romance in a fictional continent with lots of maps and lore. I previously found it hard to keep 1-on-1s alive tbh but am willing to try again.
I loved created romantic tension and often dealt with adult themes in my writing, but have limited experience in actually writing erotic scenes. However I do look forward to the prospect of narrating explicit scenes and brings lots of kinks alive in prose.
