I hate cliches and Hallmark films. If you don't know what a hallmark film is, I'll explain: it's also called a "soap opera". meaning the conflict is minimal and dry and it's always about two people falling in love. Romance is good but should never be the main focus.
On average my replies are 1 -4 paragraphs long. This is dependent on the scenario and on how many characters I am juggling at a time. I expect my partner to perform about the same. I do not have the stomach to digest a novel response. if you are replying with novella size responses, you may as well be writing the entire rp alone.
I have 7 years rp exp.
My characters are their own people. This means that none of them are self inserts. anything my character chooses to do in any given setting is out of my hands, for like a god, I breath life into them, but they have free will. This also means that if violence ensues, I will not stop it from happening. If romance develops, so be it. But none of this will be forced and the motivation for it must make sense. I will not have a character grow violent for no apparent reason.
Genres I enjoy:
Scifi
Supernatural (non-cliche as a sort of modern day subgenre of fantasy)
Cyberpunk
Steampunk
Superhero/Superhuman
Dystopian/Post apocalyptic
Any combo of those above
Characters and Character types I'm interested in:
Wolverine
NightCrawler
Spiderman (My Variant)
Doc Oc (My Variant, superhero)
Medieval fantasy Knight
Vampire Female (non cliche, more monster oriented and very low to zero chance of romance)
Roz (V1): A prototype security AI designed to blend in with society except for emergencies who struggles with the fact she is a machine and not human.
Roz (V2): Human Artificer from a modern world become an artificer after having ended up in the Forgotten Realms.
Klio Xales: Dark Fae with two different versions. One for medieval settings and one for a modern setting, but still the same character.
I can play any gender, any age, antagonist, antihero, or protagonist
