New to the Inner Sanctum, but not to RP! I'm cautiously dipping my toes back into forum writing after a long hiatus. Life tends to get in the way and derail creative output, ya know? Anywho - I'm Aioli.

I've been roleplaying longer than I'd care to admit, but well over twenty years. That being said, I enjoy long-winded, wordy, advanced writing with rich characters and pouring over complicated plot ideas. I'm on the search for a kindred spirit or two who enjoys getting down to the real nitty gritty of things like developing characters, story arcs, even worlds.

I'll post a bit more about what I'm looking for in a partner-seeking thread later, but here is a bit about my writing style: I consider myself an advanced, literate RPer and love lengthy posts. Most genres have at least some appeal to me, but there are a few specific things I'm always looking for - and never looking for. I love period specific settings - and I'm a huge prehistory nerd. I love getting rabid over certain fandoms and genres and paddling around in pre-made words, but I only every play original characters. I play male characters. And female. And anything in-between. I double and will almost always insist on having multiple characters, even if some are just NPC-type roles.

Second! I bet you're wondering how to start Role Playing and where to go! I think it's pretty fun to explore the forums, and I highly recommend doing so! Most thread homes, if not all, have a pinned post at the top of them to tell you what goes there! However, the Request Threads are pretty self explanatory; Here's a Link! There's plenty to look through, but you could also build your very own! Tell people what you're all about and get those writing partners! Take your time though; there's never any pressure!
