Hello beautiful people!
As you may have surmised from my user name, I am The Sloth, and it's a pleasure to meet you all! (At least, in spirit, since I actually haven't met any of you yet.)
Now, you may be wondering to yourself, 'Is it really a sloth writing all this?' Well, while I do have a tendency to only type with three fingers on each hand, the name is derived more from my all too slow posting speed and lackadaisical attitude than it is a lifestyle of lounging in trees and munching on leaves. I absolutely love writing, especially when it's alongside a fun partner that I can vibe and geek out with, but I do lead a busy life with plenty of responsibilities that can hamper that love. (Almost as often as I tend to get in my own way
) So it's no exaggeration when I say I have all the posting tendencies of my namesake.
This little caveat can prove to be a pretty big blow to potential partners, chiefly ones that tend to live life in he fast lane when it comes to their stories. But for those who aren't afraid to hang with sloths and their glacial pace, I come with well over 20 years of writing experience, and treat every story I delve into as a labor of love. I love deep, intricate stories that are set in breathtaking worlds and driven on by complex, authentically engaging characters. And you can bet that if I'm taking my sweet ass time coming up with my next post, it's likely to be a novella sized banger. I rarely do anything half way, even if it takes me half a year to get there!
Anyway, I look forward to seeing what adventures come my way here at the Inner Sanctum, and perhaps finding an ideal partner or two worth the hours-long climb out of my tree for.
