Edit: Looking for either Hybrids of members of the Sanctuary Staff
There is an island in the South Pacific, called Sanctuary Island, or simply Sanctuary. Very few people know this place even exists as the island isn't on any of the charts. What would surprise people even more is what's located on the island and the real reason why the Island is called Sanctuary. It is a closely guarded secret, thanks to a network of agents who work diligently around the world to keep it this way… To understand why the Sanctuary exists, one needs to know the history of this alternate earth…
Hybrid tech became popular in the early 21st century; it started with various military organizations around the world trying to cross humans with animals to make superior soldiers. Canines and vulpine of all shapes and sized were used for the crossing, though it didn't stop there. Stealthy animals like cats were also added to the mix, hoping to create soldiers specializing in subterfuge. It still didn't stop there as governments continued to push the envelope using many other types of animals as test subjects.
By 2025 it was discovered that some hybrids remained unstable and became a threat to friendly units or even the public at large. Following an emergency meeting if the UN a resolution was drafted abolishing the practice and the science and all nations signed on. Of course by the then the technology had reached the Corporations who had begun creating their own hybrids, mostly for domestic purposes as well as for pleasure and entertainment. Law enforcement agencies immediately cracked down on those corporations, forcing them to sell their products in the Black Market.
Of course by then public perception of hybrids soured. More often than not they were rounded up and placed in internment camps; some nations even went so far as to euthanize them. Life for hybrid became a hell on earth. Others, when located were simply lynched to death by the fearful public at large.
One man, a billionaire decided to create a safe haven for hybrids. A man with ties around the world, in particular in the Intelligence community; he set up a network that allowed him to rescue wayward hybrids and bring them to the island. The island provides a safe refuge for Hybrids to live in safety; where they are allowed to grow as individuals.
The island itself is quite large. There's a small village located and set up around a natural harbour with docks and warehouses. Up a path heading into the island leads to the main complex and living quarters. Most of the staff is made up of hand-selected humans along with a handful of hybrids who have been here from the beginning. The community lives in secret, but in relative peace, humans and hybrids together.
Looking for players to take on the roles of Hybrids or Human members of the Sanctuary staff. All ideas will be entertained, but GM/Mods will have final decision on whether it fits into the game. Also, for this to get off the ground I would need at least 1 player to take on the role of a Moderator and help moderate and run the game, with my schedule, I can't do it myself. Looking for a handful of players to begin. The game could be expanded but more Moderators would be required.

Rules:
1-This is a paragraph game, aiming for a 2 paragraph minimum though in certain circumstances 1 would be acceptable (No 1 or 2 liners). On the other end of the scale I would prefer not to see any posts larger than 3 paragraphs except for introductory posts or posts describing something important. (GM/Mod posts will also follow these guidelines though they get more leeway, also 2 sentences do not make a paragraph.)
2- Posting Order. There will be a strict posting order. If a player is delayed permission can be given to skip that player, but it must be approved by a GM/Mod. Separate rules will be in place for players who simply stop posting and how players should proceed.
3-Posting Frequency… Many players have busy lives, myself included. I would like a post every other day at the least, during the week. If you can post at all during the weekends that's fine as well. If everyone can post daily that would be great, but every other day or even third day would certainly be fine with me. If you're going to be unable to post for more than a couple days, please just let us know in the OOC or PM the GM/nod.
4- No Godmodding or physical manipulation of another character, also do not assume to know how another character will react to something your character does. Even if a player agrees, it must be approved by a GM/Mod. No violence between characters unless approved by a GM/Mod. Be respectful.
5- Time Jumps. This game will have occasional time jumps. Usually a heads up will be given a few days/a week in advance to let everyone know when the time jump will take place. Once the time jump has taken place, players will have a few days to finish up scenes and get caught up.
6- NPCs. There will be several important NPCs, only a GM/Mod can play these. There will be lesser named NPCs that players can use to help their character move forward from time to time. These NPCs can be shared. The story will also have unnamed NPCs that characters can post and move within reasons. If a player had a storyline idea that requires an NPC, please discuss the idea with a mod/GM.
7- If any disagreement comes up, the GM/Mods will have final word. Be respectful.

9- Smut is allowed, even encouraged.
10- GM/Mods reserve the right to add/change rules at any time.
