I've been on this site for a while, but some irl issues made me step away for a while. Now I'm trying to get back into things. So! Why don't I kick things off by telling you guys a little bit about me as a writer? I've been writing on and off for almost 14 years now, sometimes as roleplaying and sometimes in solo writing. So I consider myself a fairly experienced writer, although I'd hardly dare call myself an expert. I'm a multi-paragraph writer, and usually have multiple characters in the story- I prefer a partner who can match both. I prefer female characters and will usually have at least one female main, but I play other genders as well and am always up to double. I also usually write mxf romances, although I can be convinced to write other pairings for the right partner. I'm definitely fine with including dark content, as well as sexual content, in stories. However, I typically discuss the specifics of that on a case-by-case basis with my partners, since I'm up for most anything as long as it fits with both the story and the characters.
Now that that's out of the way, why don't I get to what I'm looking for? As the title above suggests, I'm looking for a little something out of the ordinary. See, yours truly is an avid D&D classic adventure fan. However, those are often serious, life and death matters. I'm looking to write something a little more light-hearted than that. I also don't want to use a system or dice rolls or anything (so don't worry if you don't know much about that kind of stuff!) Basically, my idea is to put together a group of some of the most unusual adventurers possible and send them off on some pretty crazy adventures, hopefully with a healthy dose of humor thrown in. I've tried this before, but it didn't work out, so here's to hoping that this time is the charm. For reference, here's a few silly character ideas, just off the top of my head:

- A rogue who isn't stealthy at all, yet still insists on trying to be sneaky.
- Dyslexic wizard who frequently reads their spell incantations wrong, often with rather wild unintended consequences.
- Sorcerer who doesn't believe in magic and is constantly coming up with increasingly ludicrous explanations of how their powers could be "perfectly natural, thank you very much."
- "Fighter" who is actually a sentient sword that possesses anyone who happens to pick it up, and doesn't have much of a sense of self-preservation.
- Barbarian, except their "rage" is really just panic attacks- they just don't have a flight response, only fight.
- Bard whose singing/performing is actually so bad that it inflicts psychic damage on those who hear it.
- Cleric/warlock multiclass whose deity and patron are actually their parents. They can't stand each other, and both are constantly trying to one-up each other giving their child gifts to win them over to their side- complete with the childish antics of any heated custody battle.
- Dragonborn paladin of royal birth- she can be either the princess, the dragon, or the knight in shining armor, depending on whose side the story is being told from!
