Someone, who wants to escape reality

Hi,
I am a fairly new to role-play. I don't have much experience in role-playing, but I really want to try it out, because I need a distraction for my real life.
I am mainly into vanilla and soft-core stuff. Of course, I am interested in your fantasies too. I even prefer living in your world and, so you can feel more comfortable. I am an open minded person, so you can tell me all your fantasies and I won't judge.

I am really shy to meet new people though, so I hope someone would take the initiative to write with me.
I don't have much experience in this, so please be patient with me. I prefer writing with only one person and be with her in our world, so I can give her all my time and attention.

I hope you would consider writing with me and guide me through all this because of my inexperience. Thank you for your time reading this and even if you don't like writing with me, that is fine. I wish you have a nice day.

You are VERY welcome here. There is a little bit of everything going on here, and whilst there is often something dark and spicy going on. Light and fluffy is welcome too.
There are quite a few people new to role-playing that have arrived recently, so your in good company. We also have some very experienced writers too.

Alot of people have been searching for story based rp's lately, so i think you will do just fine.

Any problems just dm a member of staff, any more general queries and you can always try chat, there's usually a long-term resident lurking who will help if they can.
(( if chat feels a bit much to cope with feel free to dm me, i will endeavour to help answer any questions, if you struggle to start a conversation, just send me a question mark, and i will start ;).))

In the meantime maybe browse the request thread, see what people are looking for, maybe you could post your own requests?

Ok then, well I have a question, how should I start, like when I go through the female requests I see some are appealing, but I am not sure if that person would want to role-play with me, or I am rather afraid that when I wrote to them, they might already have other partners and I just stand here like an idiot and well... I want to avoid that.

Well, your never going to look like an idiot for asking about an RP if someone has put it up in.requests...it's there to be asked about. If its already taken often people put 'closed' next to it. Even if they haven't most people will be fine with you asking, and might even offer to do something else. Everyone here has had to ask the same thing so you're in good company.
It's also perfectly acceptable to message someone who's style you like, but maybe haven't put up the sort of story your looking for and ask if they would be interested in writing with you.
Not everyone will be available for an RP, and that's ok too.
You could also look in 'unfinished tales' these are RP's anyone can join. You just need to read the first couple of posts to see what the story is about. And if you like the idea you can just join.

Oh thank you for saying this. I still feel obligated to people who started to write with me, because they took their time to write with me and I would feel bad, when I just turn them down, I mean I wouldn't feel bad it if it happens to me (well, when I have the courage to take initiative).

I see, I will keep it in mind.
