Greetings my fellow roleplay enthusiasts! If you are reading this introduction then that means you most likely are seeking a roleplay partner, or are clicking a random webpage generator and it somehow sent you here. In either case it is a pleasure to meet you! As my username suggest, my name is Matt! I have been roleplaying on and off for about nine years to varying degrees. I usually write up to 1000 words for reply's but can narrow it down to a degree, but not one liners so say maybe...300 words minimum response from me. And I will try and reply ASAP when I can, but I am human so if I don't respond for a day or two please PM me, I am not trying to ghost you I swear! I am fairly flexible on plots and genres, but I tend to roleplay in a modern supernatural world (or the late 80's/early 90's as well). But again I am always down to try any genre/pairing but I do have a few rules for this.
Rule #1: I will play as a merman. You may play as whatever you like, you do whatever you want for your OC. But my merman can be adaptable to the plot; for instance I can make it so he can have a human form, he's a merman god, he's an alien very similar to a merman
he can't have legs etc. but the character will be a merman regardless. (If you aren't comfortable with that I completely understand and hope you find a better suited partner and have yourself a pleasant day!)
Rule #2 I do BxG (MxF) only. I have tried doing FxF and MxM but it isn't really my cup of tea.
Rule(s) #3 These are topics I am not comfortable in my RP and will not partake in: Incest, Rape, Vomit/Poop/Pee, Extreme gore (I'm okay with some but nothing like say Hellraiser levels. I don't want to see my characters guts. Killing off characters I'm fine with if we need to), Mary Sues (No one is perfect and I find Mary Sue's boring to play as and with), Pedophilia, Necrophilia.
Rule #4 All characters will be 18+ with the exception of say like little brothers/sisters or if we have like a short flashback on how our OC's met.
Rule #5 I am fine with smut but would like some story, so at most 70/30 but typically 40/60 and I did mention the topics for NSFW I am not cool with. But I am willing to try stuff. But I may send a PM if I don't feel comfortable with it.

Story #1** Many years ago the merman was exploring the ocean, following a large ship despite it being against the rules of his kind, when he spotted you. You were both children but felt a connection you couldn't explain and before either of you knew what was happening you fell into the sea. The merman swam up to you and you felt safe with him but just as you two were studying one another another human dove in after you and the merman disappeared. Now 20/30 years later you ended up in the sea again where the merman saved your life again, except now as an adult he looks like a naked human man when he's out of the water and he decides to follow you back to your home. Now he's with you, you think he's a strange man but he has a fishy secret that when will be seen if he gets too wet. Worse a mad scientist is after him, trying to prove to the world mermaids, er, mermen exist. (Based highly off the movie Splash)
Story #2** The merman woke up injured and pinned under a large fishing net several feet away from the ocean; unable to move but unable to form legs due to being splashed by waves. His large tail smells of fish oil and he whimpers with fear as your OC approaches him...What will happen now?
Story #3 It's a tale as old as time, girl is a rich/powerful mythical being from a powerful family and so is the merman. Will the aranged couple be able to get along despite the different life styles and the species difference?
