Hello! Very lovely of you to take the opportunity to read my RT. My (user)name is Fiore, which means 'flower' in Italian. Since talking about myself and my personal life will not be very entertaining to most of you, I suggest you simply send me a message if there is anything you'd like to know about me. But for now, feel free to continue reading to find out if I could be an interesting roleplay partner.
Rules
Let's start off with a couple of rules first. While there are not many, these are very important to me, so please be kind enough to follow them. :)
- No one-liners, please. I put a lot of effort into my stories and receiving a single line as a reply tends to frustrate me rather easily. I do not expect entire books per reply, but please try and put some effort into them.
- I like plots. Basically, I cannot write a story that's only about sex. If that floats your boat, I respect that, but it is simply not my cup of tea. Sex is lovely to write and it will definitely be a part of my roleplays, but a roleplay needs a storyline for me.
- I am not interested in short-term roleplays.
- My first language is not English. You're probably aware of that. This does not mean that I enjoy reading a reply that I basically cannot read. I do not expect flawless replies, but again: effort is key.

Bloodshed, battles for power and mysterious façades. It is what the Roman Empire has been known for. MC has been married to a Roman senator, who's power is well-known due to his influence as well as the slaves, gladiators and land he owns. Little does he know, that he will face his downfall sooner than later.
MC has been caught in a strained marriage and sees no way to escape; until the very day that her husband's son is murdered by a gladiator in battle - a bold mistake. She watches how her husband drowns himself in wine and poisons him, finally getting rid of he who has tormented her for so long. She even saves the said gladiator (YC) from his death penalty. A happily after, right?

While MC struggles to maintain the power of her husband, which seems to be impossible as a woman, she tries to avoid being forced into a new marriage at all costs. And who is this gladiator, who obviously has his own story to tell? What is his position during this fight for power?

A woman who desires to be queen, will protect her crown with everything she has. A crown for a king: it would have been the perfect plan.
MC has accomplished her greatest goal: marry the king of a great kingdom. Unfortunately, a share of power is not what she desires. She wants to have it all. Therefore she makes an attempt to murder the king during their wedding night, but her plan backfires. Kind of. Although she is overpowered and harmed during the process, someone* (YC) overhears her screams and enters the chambers. Unable to stop the king, he is forced to act quickly and wounds him mortally.
MC still gets her one and only crown, but what will the consequences be? What will she do when she realises she has started to fall for the man who saved her? And what will YC do, when he figures out what MC's original plan used to be?
