While she is well aware of the numerous ways in which modern law enforcement oversteps its bounds and can often become an oppressive force, she believes in the fundamental ideas behind the justice system and her role in it. She led a comfortable life, her parents always able to provide for her and her sister. Noémie would not learn about the riches her extended family possessed until adulthood, but found she wanted nothing to do with them, preferring the approach her own parents had taken by separating from that side. Since as far back as she can remember Noémie wanted to help others. For a long time it seemed like she might try to become a doctor, but when her keen interest in justice began to manifest, it looked like she would become a lawyer. Instead, somewhere along the line she decided law was too hands-off, and she entered law enforcement. She excelled, graduating at the top of her class and rising through the ranks quickly. She became particularly good at reading and assessing situations, making her well suited for investigations and as a bodyguard for VIPs.​ ♦ Skills and Abilities ▸ Athletic ‧ ■■■□□ ‧ Training is always on Noémie's mind, as she has to stay sharp for her charges and fellow officers. She has a routine she performs every morning, rain or shine. While she is no Olympian, she is in generally quite good shape. ▸ Investigation ‧ ■■■■□ ‧ A keen eye for details and strong sense of intuition, combined with extensive training have rendered Noémie quite proficient at investigating situations and people. ▸ Firearms ‧ ■■■■□ ‧ While she prefers more peaceful solutions, and to bring in perpetrators unharmed, Noémie knows that often firearms are necessary. As a child she was always a bit introverted, finding fascinating with numbers and puzzles rather than athletic or social pursuits. The trend continued through high school and into her college years, where she attended Columbia University. Out of college things were going so well for Calliope; she'd finally landed a job at a national investment firm and was climbing that ladder rapidly. Accolades and bonuses were flowing like water. She had a knack for spotting opportunities and playing with numbers, and knack that let her see when to invest and when to withdraw, the kind of instinct gamblers wish for. That was, until one night when her coworkers convinced the workaholic "Calli" to go out drinking. That same night she would be approached, enraptured, and sired. The good news is that things haven't changed too much...she's still in the finance industry, except now she works mainly at night and generates money for vampiric interests.​ ♦ Powers and Abilities ▸ Numbers ‧ Surely no surprise based on her background, but Calliope has an instinctive mastery of numbers; she can calculate things quickly in her head to a surprising degree of accuracy, and can do it quite quickly. ▸ Enhanced Senses ‧ As a vampire, many of Calliope's senses are enhanced, but vision, hearing, and smell in particular are much stronger than a human. ▸ Enhanced Physique ‧ Another vampiric gift, Calliope is more durable than the most humans, and is able to take significantly more punishment than they would before becoming incapacitated. ▸ Vampiric Presence ‧ Though inexperienced with its use, Calliope has found she has the ability to manipulate the minds and emotions of mortal humans around her to a mild degree. This power manifests in two primary ways. First, she can manipulate the emotions of groups of people, though at her level it is mainly stoking or stifling existing feelings. All things considered, she's led a charmed life, the kind most could only dream of. She grew up under the tutelage of the best teachers, with plenty of room to explore hobbies and interests. While often remarked as being "too curious for her own good" she was generally a well-behaved child.
  
  Finding a fascination with literature, history, and philosophy, she had to be prodded into some of the more ladylike studies. Now a prime candidate for marriage with an excellent reputation, Emily has noticed a problem…she just isn't interested in most men in 'that' way, and instead finds herself stealing glances at other girls around the Ton.

  In more recent history, her mother recently passed away from Alzheimer's disease, and her father lost the will to live shortly after.
• • Bodyguard x Protectee ‧ Noémie is assigned to protect Y/C from assassins, and of course they make an attempt on Y/C's life at an event. Noémie and Y/C escape, but are forced to hide somewhere for the night, and in that time realize feelings have blossomed. Also great for slow-burn romance where the Protectee hates having a bodyguard and Noémie is constantly having to track them as hard as the criminals are.
  • Cop x Criminal ‧ The suave femme fatale that Noémie has spent months trying to catch taunts her in a situation where Noémie can't make the arrest, and it happens over and over, until one day they are alone...
