I would love to do more with this character in further roleplays, exploring his adventures and life before his tragic encounter with LaTanne. Contact me if you're interested in this! Born in Marseille, Charlotte and her twin brother Charles, along with their mother, Evita, were abandoned their father, Bruno Lebleu, who sided with the rest of the LaTannes in a family dispute.
While Evita worked as a prostitute and mystic to make ends meet, and Charles escaped into girls, drinking, and all manner of mischief; hyper-curious Charlotte stayed home reading, exploring the city, and experimenting on stray animals, showing a predilection for violence at an early age.
As a teenager, Charlotte murdered her brother while they were at sea on a small boat to prevent him from sexually abusing her. Evita, who always preferred her daughter, saw the crime as an opportunity to send her child to medical school to follow her dreams.
Disguised as Charles, Charlotte was an excellent medical student, the top of her class. She had difficulty fitting in with the other students, and spent most of her time resigned to the rat-infested hotel room where she lived. These were formative years- she explored her self-sexual nature, found a friend and father figure in Andrew White, Sr., and discovered that she was developing untreatable glaucoma that would eventually claim her sight.
When Andrew White, Sr. passed on, she became the assistant to his son, Andrew White, Jr., and joined him on an excursion to the McKillian Chateau in the south of France.

He was a kind and compassionate man, close with his friend, fellow outcast Talmadge Noon.
He assisted Perys and Carol Saunderson escape the village in his carriage at the request of Tal. He was later tortured and murdered by Charlotte LaTanne, who sought to extract their location from him.

After her parents (a fisherman and his wife) were killed by bandits when she was aged seven, Ana grew up in an orphanage in Seville. Considered a firey and outgoing girl, Ana developed a reputation as a troublemaker among her peers and the strict Nuns who tired of her, so.

All were to be had except for the first, as her heart was soon claimed by an English soldier visiting Spain. He took her back to London in short order, they were married (causing quite the commotion in his aristocratic family), and they lived happily ever after.
Except they didn't, of course. The soldier died of pneumonia just a year later. His mother quickly made the legal arrangements to completely cut Ana off from the family money, and the poor grieving girl was left stranded in London without a penny.
A hard and horrible year of prostitution was to follow. Ana hoped to find salvation in a secretive government job offered by one of her late husband's friends, but whether this came to fruition or not is unknown.

Talmadge Noon was born long ago in England, serving for hundreds of years as a magical doctor, benefactor, and protector to the area. Learning the secret to immortality in his late 70s, he served in this position into the 1600s, when he was captured and imprisoned by Reverend McKillian, who manipulated the sorcerer into aiding him in his dispute with his wife, the powerful witch Isabelle. The Reverend took Tal to the McKillian Chateau in the south of France, where the Rev's plan backfired and Isabelle quickly gained the upper hand.
Feeling a slight respect for the immensely feeble and old wizard, she banished him into the woods, where he was maimed by her enchanted trees.
He was saved by the mysterious Lady of the Woods when he lit her candle, and fell hopelessly in love with her young form.
Living at the edge of the woods for hundreds more years, he lived a life of lonely desperation, both terrified by and obsessed with the place, thought of as the village madman for generations of villagers confused and frightened by his age.
