Under the sea swaying in the current was a tall kelp vine. It has grown tall enough it reached the surface of the water. Over time many fish had fled to it for shelter and maid friends with the kelp. It waves hello and it waves goodbye as it sways in the current.
A new friend drifted on the surface of the water. It look to the kelp for a place to sleep. Rolling up it the kelp it fell asleep and the kelp held on. A promise was made between the two of them. The little friend named Otter had seemed to settled with the kelp. They slept together every night from then on. They were happy to have a friend that would stay. They watch the migrations of all sea creatures.
A day came were there was an infestation on the of the kelp forest. The kelp's family was being picked off one by one. The Otter saw what was happening and started to investigate. The Otter dove down to the dotom and saw so many balls of spikes. The Otter plucked one and sufficed. Using a tool the Otter opened the ball up and tasted it. It tasted better then most and the Otter got an Idea to save the kelp.
The kelp was so alone in just a few days. It was in pain for the spike balls had reached the poor vine. It look for Otter on the horizon only to see a hole group of Otters to save the day. The Otters were fed and the kelp was waved. More friendships were made and a family grew and thrived. The kelp vine was strong and happy once again.
