EDIT MARCH 27, 2024: Hello again! I've been pretty quiet here for a hot minute, but I'm thinking about jumping back into the saddle. I'm a certifiable mess, so I'll likely be as sporadic as I've ever been, and I'm currently, actively in the throes of a Stardew Valley fit, which is... Rather time consuming. But if you can bare with me for all that, then I look forward to writing something fun with you!

About Me | About You | Sex and Violence

• Hello, I'm Rat! I'm a working lady on the US east coast. I've been roleplaying across various sites for several years; I begun when I was ~12, but spent a couple years in and right after college not really spending time writing. I am also a 2019, 2022 & 2023 NaNoWriMo winner, not that I ever bothered to look back on and edit my work- but it was still a fun project! If you're not familiar, it's a challenge to write a 50k word novel during November; it's strenuous, but rewarding.
  
  I'd argue that I'm somewhere between a casual and an advanced player; my writing isn't the best, but I'll always give you at least a couple paragraphs to work with, and it will be at least legibly written (in English, though, which is the only language I speak). I'm usually too busy on the weekends to respond much, if at all; that being said, I should be able to reliably get you a reply at least a couple of times a week. And, as you might guess by where this thread is, I'm primarily interested in playing female characters; I'm not opposed to doubling to play males, though.
  
  Furthermore, I should warn you that I've got a bit of a potty mouth- if you'd like me to keep my language PG (either in ooc, in character, or both) just let me know and I'll be happy to! If you don't say anything, I am going to assume that you are fine with my use of foul language. I'm ghost friendly, as I understand that shit happens (though I promise that if you're trying to end things, no hard feelings!); also, if we do ever go our separate ways and you later stumble across me and want to give things another shot- reach out! I'd be happy to try again! And on what I think is a final note, I promise to at least try to be friendly while we talk ooc! I'd love to maintain a conversation during our roleplay, maybe even become friends of some sort? Though I'll admit that I'm terrible at starting that conversation up. But don't take my shyness to mean that you shouldn't, if you're interested!
• Hello you! Things that I want to see from you are things like that you're interested in the roleplay, first and foremost! This is something that we're creating together, so we should both be contributing ideas towards it. If there is something that you would like to see happen, PM me and talk to me about it! Do not make a post that says what my character is doing! Not to be rude about it, but I find that infuriating.
  
  I'd also like to see an equal amount of effort being put into your replies. If I'm giving you 300 word replies, I don't want to only get 50 words back. That's just... Disheartening. And, I'd like for you to have a reasonable grasp on the English language- I cannot play in other languages; and I'm going to get frustrated if you have generally poor spelling / grammar / punctuation / capitalization. Naturally, typos are forgiven; laziness is not.
  
  Let's see... I expect that you'll be patient enough to wait a couple of days for a reply if needed (and I promise to do the same for you!). And, if we have an active roleplay, and it's been about a week without warning, I'll try and send you a PM and ask what's up. If I don't hear back for another week, I'll assume that you dropped the roleplay, and no hard feelings. Finally if you know you'll be away for a few days- no worries! Life happens- I'd appreciate it if you could let me know, but I won't hold it against you if you don't.

  I'm going to start with violence because that ought to be shorter.
  To sum it up, what I want from our writing is much like what I want from my movies: pretty much anything goes, but gore for the sake of gore is just kinda.... Boring, I guess? Eh, I might be overly picky here. That being said, I'm totally down for plenty of violence! I just don't want it to be there for the shock factor alone.
  --> Not quite violence, but I do have a fear of spiders. If they do come up in the roleplay, mentioning as much is fine- just please do not go into significant detail about them. And if you like to link to pictures or whatever, those pictures best be spider free.
  --> Super graphic stuff with finger / toe nails or eyes squicks me out. The concept is fine, but overly focusing on it gives me the heebie jeevies.
  
  Now, for what I'm sure you're really on this tab for: the sex.
  Cards on the table, I am not the best at writing smut- especially not super long scenes. Only so many ways to say something is in a hole and to describe pleasure, you know? I don't really want total smut over plot, but I'm not opposed to a smut- heavy plot, either. I would be hard pressed to play a male for a sex scene. I'm uncomfortable playing a dominant character in bed- I'll happily play someone who will take over for a spell, but not someone who's in charge the whole time.
  
  Kinks: Some bondage, dub/non-con, blindfolds, forced public nudity/exhibitionism, photos/videos / blackmailing
  Hard limits: Incest, anal, beastiality, any sort of bathroom play, pregnancy, parent/child play, torture, referring to characters as "shemale" or whatever, age gaps
  
  This is probably not an exhaustive list. As I think of more this will get updated. Anything not listed here you are totally free to ask about. And, while this is probably a given, doesn't hurt to mention that all characters involved in sex stuff (and all players!) are 18+.

Plots!

Witch in a Tower

Medieval high fantasy.
There is, somewhere, hidden in the land, a witch who is locked in a tower, as a punishment for a crime committed long ago. Recently, she was able to get out, and she's interested in revenge.
-->Not much of a plot, I know, but that is to leave us room to create something that we'd like.
-->I would strongly prefer to play the witch.
-->This can be romantic, platonic, antagonistic, or something else.
-->Some ideas for your character are: the individual who got the witch out of the tower; another witch/wizard who was also trapped in a tower and recently freed; someone trying to put the witch back in the tower; and of course, anything you can think of!

I've done this plot a lot, and I'm not especially interested in this right now.

The Cursed Amulet

Medieval or Modern, high fantasy.
An amulet contains a high-powered demon; a demon powerful enough to exert their influence over whoever wears the amulet. The wearer is ignorant to their own wants, only feeling the demon's desires as their own.
-->Another pretty bare-bones plot, but, again, lots of room for personalization.
-->I'd strongly prefer to play the person who wears the amulet.
-->The person playing the 'amulet' would also probably take on the major characters that the wearer would interact with; ie, if MC is the one wearing the amulet, then you would play the, for example, unsavory characters that she ends up working with.
-->Perhaps YC is just the amulet with a 'puppet' sort of real character to corrupt MC with
-->This definitely has a lot of interpretation on directions it can be taken- if you've got ideas, I'd love to hear them!
-->Also works well as a smutfest sort of plot. The amulet says be a whore, and so we get a whore.

I'm really craving this plot! I'm also happy to hear variations on it. Perhaps YC isn't the amulet, but their own individual, and the amulet is just a tool to make the wearer more open to suggestion by YC. Maybe the amulet is forced onto MC, and is forced to obey YC's commands. Or something else!

The Dragon's Keeper

MC is involved in dragon care. Maybe MC raises hatchlings, or maybe dragons are like an endangered species and MC just makes sure that the environment is just right for the eggs to hatch. Maybe MC is from a people that simply have a life based off of coexisting with dragons. YC is on some sort of quest and needs the help of dragons, and so our characters meet. Because of Plot(tm), our characters travel together to fulfill YC's quest.
-->Again, trying to leave it open to personalization
-->Despite how I wrote it, actually, your character could be the one who raises dragons, and mine could be the newb

Artist and Muse

MC is looking to be a model; YC is an artist. MC takes on a job to be a housekeeper for YC; upon finding out MC's aspirations, YC offers to use MC as a model for their art.

---->I would appreciate a slow burn start: we go from posing, to nude poses, to erotic nude poses, to explicitly pornographic poses
-->Art medium is up to you! Does YC want MC to hold a certain pose for a while? Does YC want to snap a pic at just a certain moment?
-->Optional drama: YC has a partner who isn't a fan of MC playing muse. Maybe said partner finds out that MC is doing more than just being a muse- and what then?
-->Could be open to a 1x1x1 or something; two muses, or artist / partner / muse

Lost & Found

MC recently moved for grad school, and found a new group of friends. The semester is off to a wonderful start- until one of her new friends go missing. The local cops are fairly useless, more used to citing speeding tickets and breaking up bar fights, and think it more likely that the kid just ran off for a fresh start, which leads our characters to take on the investigation. They find the supernatural, but do they find the missing friend?
-->YC could be part of the friend group, or someone who has their own stake in the missing individual
-->We could both play multiple people in the friend group, or have it be a small, tight knit group, or have the others be more NPCs that we both control as necessary
-->MC has a mysterious past she's running from- I encourage you to have something equally interesting for YC
-->I'm planning on faeries being the bulk of the supernatural we deal with, but I'm totally open to having more options, too!
-->The fate of the missing friend is up for discussion. Maybe they're found, maybe they're dead, maybe they don't want to come back

The Succubus' Keeper

YC, for one reason or another, summons a succubus, MC. They enter the standard deal: the succubus feeds off of sexual energy emitted by YC when the copulate, and MC must do whatever YC bids. However, MC is also trying to get more from YC's friends and anyone else she can get her hands on in order to have enough energy to evolve to a different type of demon that isn't so reliant on humans.
-->Maybe MC's ascension will have an affect on YC to put some conflict in this
-->Maybe YC will simply discover MC in the act with someone else and that's the conflict
-->Maybe YC isn't human and that has an affect on things
-->Would love to have some plot with this, but. This is a smut forward plot

All pairings (including the plots above) are not restricted by sex or gender to be romantic. These pairings do not have to be romantic. Your character can be whatever you want, but, as previously mentioned, I'd like to play female characters. Asterisk (*) indicates my preferred role; lack of one means I'm happy with either.

Maybe we can figure something out together, or maybe you've even got a group roleplay that you'd like to invite me to. I haven't listed any fandom stuff here, but if you've got a fandom plot that doesn't involve any canon characters, I may be interested!
