Hello-hello there, writers of the Sanctum! =D This will be my first post, and I know that I am possibly condemning this thread by saying so. However, I simply wanted to post a general thread in this area to list preferences of certain RPs that I wish to participate in. No, I won't be writing this in a 'I will do/I won't do" fashion. I simply wanted to provide a list of roleplay concepts; if anyone has a roleplay satisfying one of these concepts, I sincerely wish for you to reply. If it fits, and you have an open spot or two, I will definitely examine your roleplay immediately.
This probably goes without saying, but I can role-play each gender pretty damn well. I know that some people stick to either or, but me? Nah, I'm... pretty savvy at it, if I say so myself. :D Not to come off as arrogant or a braggart, but I've been doing this for a while, and I have quite the talent for making some well-developed cherries. So let your fears of my character angle dissipate into sparklez! :3
Now, I am open-minded when approaching any roleplay concept, however I have past experience and preference for certain concepts, working within certain conditions. I will try not to be too specific, but keep in mind, I am only trying to lay down guidelines, not actual boundaries. If anything posted here sounds even vaguely similar to your kind of writing squeezes, reply.
I'd love to get any kind of role-plays into the negotiation phase, but I'm questing a group role-play to stick my hands into. So if you have any ideas not listed that are in the sign-up or OOC phase, then please; go ahead and send me a linky link or two. I'd really love to get into a real role-play cycle.
Fantasy/Supernatural - This is my top genre. Any world which is not grounded in reality is my kind of thing. This includes, and is not limited to: roleplays involving vampiric, lycanthropic (shape-shifting included), gothic principles; roleplays where characters are granted supernatural/superheroic/god-related powers (not to be confused with god-modding); roleplays focusing on paranormal/spiritual/post-mortem interactions; roleplays involving inter-realm travel or setting .... I could honestly keep on going, but I think you get the gist. I know that there are probably THOUSANDS of roleplays with these concepts in mind, but please. Don't be afraid to reply.
Survival - As a military brat, and prominent Berserk fan, how could I not list this? Anything having to do with pre-apocalyptic/post-apocalyptic situations, or anything where several human lives are put at stake. May include reality-based or fantasy concepts. Preferences include: zombies, nuclear fallout, military wartime, frontier-based conquest, man vs. god, etc.
Historical Fiction - "Swords, axes, shields, armor! We got it!" You guessed it. I consider myself to be a historian, so I couldn't turn down a proposal for any such RP concept. Specializations include Middle Ages, Renaissance, Mongol-invasion period, Crusades, Colonial Era, Japanese 16th century (samurai/ninjas), and Industrial Revolution (more popularly known as "steampunk").
Futuristic Fiction - I understand that this can fall into the Survival category, but I must list it. I don't adhere to any universes in question (that means OC is preferred rather than Canon Fandom. However, feel free to ask me if I'm good on my know-how for a certain Canon), but my preferences include: Anything having to do with frontier-based conquest in reference to the Space Race (especially if I'm allowed to have my own ship), freak-ish science experiments involving characters with superhuman abilities, and anything involving cybernetic modification or massive technological progression.
I've recently gotten into aliens when it comes to role-play, so go ahead and throw that my way! Basically, all in all, I vibe really well with Original Content, and I can swing some fandoms depending on what you want.
Romance - while I don't prefer this to be the main focus of an RP, my knowledge of the concept and the concept itself is complex enough to list here. May include reality-based or fantasy concepts. A note on adult content: remember, I'm very open-minded. If BDSM is a main focus of your RP, you may find my knowledge of the idea to be very surprising. ;) I am also very interested in gender-play (that is, the reversal/conformity of gender roles).
As I said, I'm proficient in playing both genders.

What I like to see in a Role-play Partner:
Three things, really. I like to keep it simple.
1. One paragraph; three lines. Minimum. Simple enough really. That's enough for me to work with. If you read my Introductory thread in "Who Goes There?! State Your Name!" you'd know that I can do a lot, though. So that being said, I'd love to be matched in my role-playing skills, but not everyone has the compunctions to write that much. Thus, One para, three lines is fine.
2. Flesh. Yum. …..... And you read that wrong.
Basically, the connotation of this point is to state an animosity for Mary Sues, Gary Stus, and worst of all... simple sentence writers. "Gary walked into the bar.", and I'm sitting on the receiving end, thinking to myself, "Well, THAT must've hurt!"
If you're going to write with me, make a conscious effort to make your character seem like an actual person. It's not that hard. Give emotion and feeling into your writing, but most of all, give me something to WORK with! It ain't easy coming up with wonderful content for all you lovely people who taste like sunshine dust. Just.... in other words, make your content semi-human.
3. Literacy. …. I cannot stress this one ENOUGH!
You know what turns me off more than role-playing with a walking sandbag? Bad. Grammar. This site is named Writer's Sanctum. Which means you're a writer, which by proxy, means that you have to know how to write a sentence correctly. I'm pretty forgiving at first, but after a couple of serious offenses, my inner Grammar Nazi will come out to haunt you. And we don't want that; either of us, because I know that the bigger turn-off when compared to bad grammar itself, is someone who constantly badgers you about it.
Let's all try to make this writing as enjoyable as we can make it for ourselves. So if you want to hang with this gal who's crazy about writing, then let's be real with each other.
And if this cannot be satisfied by you... spell-check DOES exist within browsers now! Use it, my friend. And I can comfort you in the fact that I'll never notice if you keep at it.

In this universe, only females can become immortal, but men can become demons, vampires,etc. The time period is non-specific, to be negotiated between the partner and me. It's not very plot-specific, because our characters will be immortal, and basically watching the world spin, and killing time... forever. I planned to have setting, plot, and time-period be negotiated between me and my chosen partner. Whoever chooses this pairing will have the joy of having an adjustable pairing in which we can choose what happens to our characters randomly and non-chronologically. We'll be able to play in whatever time period you want, and change it later when we get bored. :3

Whether you choose to have your character be a seasoned mercenary/freedom fighter, or just a Demon existing amongst all of the chaos, one thing is certain; your character opposes/doesn't care for your King's oppressive rule, and is dedicated to throwing a wrench in his plans. Whether you plan for the plot to be centered on overthrowing the King or not, one thing happens as a Constant; the discovery of my character. My character will be a non-gender-specific god of trickery who not only thrives on chaos, but disorder within chaos. Whatever the case, my character decides to accompany yours on your adventure; whether it's to help you on your Quest, or simply fulfill my one true wish with this RP...which is to WRECK SHIT!
This is a Satire-type role-play, not exactly Slice of Life, but will be funny all the same. It won't just be my character using his power to shapeshift into anything (be it changing humanoid appearance, other animals, or inanimate objects) to help you, but he'll be using it to fuck with your character just for the fun of it. This pairing is based off of a character I've written up for a multi-genre group Campaign that I put a looot of effort into (it's off of another site, but I'm going to debate about bringing that Campaign here eventually...). In that Universe, magic and supernatural elements to co-exist with medieval/realistic themes. My character belongs to the Association for Runners and Couriers (or ARC), a Faction I made based off of the Mirror's Edge game; a Faction that performs daredevil feats and terroristic crimes, while praising the full potential of a humanoid at peak physical form. My character is an elite-class Runner within the organization with a fearless attitude and unbreakable resolve, even in the face of unfair odds and severe wounds.
Your character can either be another person belonging to ARC (either an advanced archer called a Sniper, or another Runner) who takes notice of mine for various reasons. Or you can be an adventurer who encounters her while she's on assignment, or a crusader trying to stop ARC and their anti-government schemes. The choice is up to you.
Bottom line is that you either take a huge interest to this character, or suddenly become aware of her true intentions. Either way, you end up initiating a romance with this character, and you enjoy a wonderful roller-coaster of negotiated content, amidst colorful action sequences and intense plot arcs.

A Yandere Role-play! One of my everlasting cravings...for those of you who haven't yet heard of Yandere Simulator or Yuno Gasai, a definition of a yandere is as follows;
Yandere is a Japanese term for a person who is initially very loving and gentle to someone (or at least innocent) before their devotion becomes destructive in nature, often through violence and/or brutality. Yandere characters are mentally unstable, and sometimes are incredibly deranged and are not mentally sane, often using extreme violence and/or brutality as an outlet for their emotions.
In short, a Yandere is a love-sick, self-destructive psycho-killer!
Yandere plotlines typically kick-off with the point of First Contact between the Kuudere (pre-infatuation) and the Senpai (target love-interest), after which the Kuudere falls madly in love with the Senpai, thus becoming a Yandere. The Yandere is usually gentle and loving, but secretly extremely protective of the Senpai at first, leading them to almost subconsciously friend-zone the Yandere. When the Senpai starts getting involved with other potential love-interests, this is when the Insanity within the Yandere awakens, and she turns this psycho-induced rage against the love-interest, henceforth coined, "Rivals". Any tale involving a Yandere usually doesn't end happily, because normally the love-sickness towards the Senpai usually turns destructive in nature, as mentioned above; sometimes to the point of the Yandere turning her psychotic rage upon the Senpai. That being said, it's an RP that karma-wise, is destined to go way down south. But it'll DEFINITELY turn out to be an interesting and intense role-play experience. I'd greatly appreciate the person wishing to take this pairing.

Ah, a more classic pairing. Except in this one, the Monster-Hunter's entire lineage, to include friends, family and love-interests were wiped out completely by the Catholic Church, but he/she thinks it was Demons who did it. You can include some hidden supernatural curse or superpowers if you wish.
My character is a young female demon. And the interesting variable in this pairing is that her power allows her to resurrect the Dead (assuming the personality/appearance of the dead) by eating a single piece of the Dead one's bones. This allows her to assume the full guise of the deceased for up to a week. Your character becomes obsessed with hunting mine down, but my character is infatuated with yours in that twisted way that demons love, and little do you know that you're not seeing things... but that she is using her power to try and court you.
Secret Life of a Masseuse and Royal Advisor

Description:
The tyrant rule of Ramesses II in this pairing is brutal; conquest, war, torture of enemies of the state... People live in fear of the Pharaoh who rules with an iron fist. Many know that even one poorly-made statement in the Pharaoh's eyes can mean a trip to the Dungeon. Many Royal figures and Priesthoods do their best to live under the Divine Mandate that which the Pharaoh carries, but no one else is as stressed as the Queen herself.
She's the one who has to stand by the Pharaoh as he makes these cruel decisions and enforces his control over all of the Nile and the tribes surrounding it. She's the one who has to live with the remorse of his decisions, and can only hope to help guide him in some decisions that will allow her to practice some damage control on the populace, and hopefully even adore his role as ruler. But a glimmer of hope shines through... in the form of a sensually-practiced masseuse and bed-warming Companion slave who has just been subjugated under the Queen's control.
One of the critical points is how the Pharaoh views sex in reference to the Queen. He does not practice coitus as an art, and only uses it to benefit himself, leaving the Queen repressed in a certain way. My character is a female servant who helps do chores around the Palace. After a particularly stressful day for the Queen, the female servant lays herself before the Queen's feet, and begs her to allow her to help ease her stress with a benign massage. She opens up to the request, and after some sensitive pampering that is beyond that which the Queen would expect from the Queen, tensions escalate and she ends up getting romantically involved with the servant.
The servant (MY character) effectively begins to take on a multi-purpose and key role when it comes to caring for the Queen (your character); acting as a therapist who hears her complaints about royal life; a masseuse who relaxes her body through the methods of acupuncture and practiced Eastern methods; and a bed-warmer as well as a consort to when the Pharaoh is away to help sate her desires. The Queen being out of touch with sexual interaction as a comfort, pleasure and an art; the servant begins to practice well-versed arts of sensualism upon the Queen, and even teaches her a trick or two to use upon the Pharaoh and gain further support. Eventually it escalates that through therapeutic treatment, the servant becomes a Royal Advisor in all but name, and their relationship flourishes in a way that through their unique bond, she is able to start pulling some strings when it comes to controlling the Pharaoh.
This pairing is destined to become a seriously drama-themed role-play and even gain some serious attention in the sexual department without touching on BDSM themes and becoming wholly involved with sexual intercourse. I am really craving this pairing.

However, Bastet listened to her better reasoning, choosing not to betray Amun-Ra by courting Horus, and procreating a child with him.
The time has passed, and the birth of godly children happens quickly. But the Guardian of the Underworld is furious, and none know divine punishment like him. And when the time comes that she must return, he will face her Wrath...
This god-like pairing is set for a no-holds-barred session, much like the other pairing you will see here. The one claiming this pairing will assume control over Anubis, and is given the freedom to use as much creativity in facilitating the reasons Torture Chamber is made the Content Rating of this RP. How far can you take Divine Punishment??
Diary of the Penultimate (and corrupted) Replicant

Description:
The year is 2142; the world is still recovering and mankind still reeling from the events that passed during the Machine Wars. The location is Neo-Tokyo; where people have just been struggling trying to return to normal life. Robots still patrol the streets as policemen, and Replicants walk freely as servants and emissaries of the populace. Only relatively poor, working or middle class people walk the streets. Or investigators, since the police force still manage the streets with humans at it's head.
Your character may be a human working class person, or another investigator or another Original Character. Mine will be an androgynous, non-registered multi-purpose Replicant; the first of her kind, having human anatomy, multiple functions, crude robotic parts and some things that are even more sinister...
For one, she has a severely advanced A.I; one that adapts to human interactions, which has been made illegal since the Machine Wars. She also has a full robotic Tritium Exo-Arm, and several functions; namely, A Maid-bot A.I., another sex-bot A.I, since she is made from the recent Lilith line, and a dark secret when it comes to her anatomy...
The whole premise is that she's made by a chop-shop owning black market scientist who apparently has a twisted passion for digging up things in the past. He makes crude murder-bots for the Underground entertainment section and she is his masterpiece; a crude experiment into what the dark-side of humanity will do to a vulnerable Replicant with an adaptable A.I. Not to mention that within her body she's carrying many dark secrets of the past, and between the murder-bots the scientist makes, and her having the ability to pull the puppet strings, there's a capability for the streets to see something more horrific than your usual run-of-the-mill machine murder-uprising....
You can be any Original Character you wish in this scenario, and even secretly be part of F.E.R.R.A. If you want. I'll be starting out as the Replicant who makes her way into the bar and subsequently starts a romance with your character. However, as the plot goes on, some bad stuff will happen and some serial murders will drag tension into the plot. In addition, several other dark secrets from the black market and Underground of Neo-Tokyo will play out, turning this into a romance story with a horror backdrop. After all, I've got a lot planned for this clusterfuck of a character, and I'm feeling zombies, for some reason... don't ask why, but if you're down, it'll definitely turn out to be fun...

She is to be held there for two weeks after which her sentence will be carried out; which is to hang by the neck until death. However, the Warden and his subordinates are becoming very restless... Be a pity to let a dead woman of such calibur go to waste...

Description:
This is a role-play experiment based on polyamory and establishing emotional and spiritual connections with your lover(s). For those who are not aware, polyamory is the practice or desire for intimate relationships where individuals may have more than one partner, with the knowledge and consent of all partners. The word is often used as an umbrella term to describe multiple classifications of relationships or forms of sexual or romantic relationships that are not sexually exclusive. This means despite what the assumption may be, that this pairing is not smut-exclusive.
The relationship I would like to portray is a hierarchical polyamory with influences of swinging. This means basically that there's a hierarchy in place involving primary and secondary relationships; where Muse 1 (myself) initiates relationships with multiple partners via casual sex, but develops emotional connections with each lover later down the road, tying them into the 'dysfunctional unit' that is a polyamorous family. Later down the road, I'd like to touch on a sensitive subject with the writers involved, which covers spiritual dialects via sex and love between equals using Indian (Kamasutra) and Pagan(Wiccan) love-based religious practices. In short, using the love between the characters as a vehicle for spiritual realization and enlightenment/liberation.
If this does not align with your beliefs and morals, I encourage you to entertain the idea for a little bit, and read on. This is more of an experiment rather than a role-play. It will endeavor to see how it could exist between multiple people, and see if the characters can actually maintain the wisdom required for this to work. And the reason that this pairing's Sanity Grade is two-fold; one, being it actually covers religious practices centered upon sex and love, and the other being Muse 1 is an Empath and shares a small handful of other 'psychic' based abilities actually based on true stories. My character will be using these abilities to facilitate emotional connections between each lover, and govern the 'household' as the Head of House. As you can tell, this pairing is going to be preeetty controversial.... AND juicy!

If you wish to engage in this pairing, or have doubts that you wish to, I highly recommend that you at least voice your opinion, and try to join the pairing, even if it doesn't exactly align with your points of view. Make realistic characters that in some way, hold a unique trait that is your own. And as you're role-playing, if a certain bit in the role-play does not make you feel comfortable, or resentful of another character's actions in reference to your own, I encourage you to voice it in writing. After all, this experiment will be focused upon overcoming emotional and mental barriers within another lover, and getting them to co-exist as one unit. Insert some Dystopian conflict that actually puts pressure on freedom fighters who need some convoluted way to overthrow the natural government (that needs to be debated here), and this.
Muse 1, Muse 2, and various other Players are part of a singular crew who is actually self-aware of the conflict, and know what it's going to escalate towards. Muse 1 has connections to one of the more notorious Mafia groups, while Muse 2 is an extremely skilled professional street-racer with a huge rap sheet and a psycho streak. I will be playing as Muse 2 in this set-up. They will engage in the battle for territory ongoing with the other crews, and when armed, the conflict will escalate. The main goal is that our crew becomes one of the most notorious, and the plot will finally culminate in a battle where a military coup with cars is undertaken by the protagonists.
Being knowledgeable, and Players willing, our group will consist of a Tuner, Mechanic, Defender, and our two Muses; all of which will have rides of their own... If you're willing to undertake secondary roles, let me know. If more than one person is interested in this pairing, perhaps we can come to an agreement.
Otherwise, this will continue as a 1x1, and the other roles will be played as NPCs.
In other words, it's a Need for Speed/Fast & Furious kind of role-play with a heavy emphasis on violence and car physics and cool stuff.

Fantasy/Supernatural - This is my top genre. Any world which is not grounded in reality is my kind of thing. This includes, and is not limited to: roleplays involving vampiric, lycanthropic (shape-shifting included), gothic principles; roleplays where characters are granted supernatural/superheroic/god-related powers (not to be confused with god-modding); roleplays focusing on paranormal/spiritual/post-mortem interactions; roleplays involving inter-realm travel or setting .... I could honestly keep on going, but I think you get the gist. I know that there are probably THOUSANDS of roleplays with these concepts in mind, but please. Don't be afraid to reply.
Survival - As a military brat, and prominent Berserk fan, how could I not list this? Anything having to do with pre-apocalyptic/post-apocalyptic situations, or anything where several human lives are put at stake. May include reality-based or fantasy concepts. Preferences include: zombies, nuclear fallout, military wartime, frontier-based conquest, man vs. god, etc.
Historical Fiction - "Swords, axes, shields, armor! We got it!" You guessed it. I consider myself to be a historian, so I couldn't turn down a proposal for any such RP concept. Specializations include Middle Ages, Renaissance, Mongol-invasion period, Crusades, Colonial Era, Japanese 16th century (samurai/ninjas), and Industrial Revolution (more popularly known as "steampunk").
Futuristic Fiction - I understand that this can fall into the Survival category, but I must list it. I don't adhere to any universes in question (that means OC is preferred rather than Canon Fandom. However, feel free to ask me if I'm good on my know-how for a certain Canon), but my preferences include: Anything having to do with frontier-based conquest in reference to the Space Race (especially if I'm allowed to have my own ship), freak-ish science experiments involving characters with superhuman abilities, and anything involving cybernetic modification or massive technological progression.
I've recently gotten into aliens when it comes to role-play, so go ahead and throw that my way! Basically, all in all, I vibe really well with Original Content, and I can swing some fandoms depending on what you want.
Romance - while I don't prefer this to be the main focus of an RP, my knowledge of the concept and the concept itself is complex enough to list here. May include reality-based or fantasy concepts. A note on adult content: remember, I'm very open-minded. If BDSM is a main focus of your RP, you may find my knowledge of the idea to be very surprising. ;) I am also very interested in gender-play (that is, the reversal/conformity of gender roles).
As I said, I'm proficient in playing both genders.

What I like to see in a Role-play Partner:
Three things, really. I like to keep it simple.
1. One paragraph; three lines. Minimum. Simple enough really. That's enough for me to work with. If you read my Introductory thread in "Who Goes There?! State Your Name!" you'd know that I can do a lot, though. So that being said, I'd love to be matched in my role-playing skills, but not everyone has the compunctions to write that much. Thus, One para, three lines is fine.
2. Flesh. Yum. …..... And you read that wrong.
Basically, the connotation of this point is to state an animosity for Mary Sues, Gary Stus, and worst of all... simple sentence writers. "Gary walked into the bar.", and I'm sitting on the receiving end, thinking to myself, "Well, THAT must've hurt!"
If you're going to write with me, make a conscious effort to make your character seem like an actual person. It's not that hard. Give emotion and feeling into your writing, but most of all, give me something to WORK with! It ain't easy coming up with wonderful content for all you lovely people who taste like sunshine dust. Just.... in other words, make your content semi-human.
3. Literacy. …. I cannot stress this one ENOUGH!
You know what turns me off more than role-playing with a walking sandbag? Bad. Grammar. This site is named Writer's Sanctum. Which means you're a writer, which by proxy, means that you have to know how to write a sentence correctly. I'm pretty forgiving at first, but after a couple of serious offenses, my inner Grammar Nazi will come out to haunt you. And we don't want that; either of us, because I know that the bigger turn-off when compared to bad grammar itself, is someone who constantly badgers you about it.
Let's all try to make this writing as enjoyable as we can make it for ourselves. So if you want to hang with this gal who's crazy about writing, then let's be real with each other.

This pairing is based off of a character I've written up for a multi-genre group Campaign that I put a looot of effort into (it's off of another site, but I'm going to debate about bringing that Campaign here eventually...). In that Universe, magic and supernatural elements to co-exist with medieval/realistic themes. My character belongs to the Association for Runners and Couriers (or ARC), a Faction I made based off of the Mirror's Edge game; a Faction that performs daredevil feats and terroristic crimes, while praising the full potential of a humanoid at peak physical form. My character is an elite-class Runner within the organization with a fearless attitude and unbreakable resolve, even in the face of unfair odds and severe wounds.
Your character can either be another person belonging to ARC (either an advanced archer called a Sniper, or another Runner) who takes notice of mine for various reasons. Or you can be an adventurer who encounters her while she's on assignment, or a crusader trying to stop ARC and their anti-government schemes. The choice is up to you.
Bottom line is that you either take a huge interest to this character, or suddenly become aware of her true intentions. Either way, you end up initiating a romance with this character, and you enjoy a wonderful roller-coaster of negotiated content, amidst colorful action sequences and intense plot arcs.

A Yandere Role-play! One of my everlasting cravings...for those of you who haven't yet heard of Yandere Simulator or Yuno Gasai, a definition of a yandere is as follows;
Yandere is a Japanese term for a person who is initially very loving and gentle to someone (or at least innocent) before their devotion becomes destructive in nature, often through violence and/or brutality. Yandere characters are mentally unstable, and sometimes are incredibly deranged and are not mentally sane, often using extreme violence and/or brutality as an outlet for their emotions.
In short, a Yandere is a love-sick, self-destructive psycho-killer!
Yandere plotlines typically kick-off with the point of First Contact between the Kuudere (pre-infatuation) and the Senpai (target love-interest), after which the Kuudere falls madly in love with the Senpai, thus becoming a Yandere. The Yandere is usually gentle and loving, but secretly extremely protective of the Senpai at first, leading them to almost subconsciously friend-zone the Yandere. When the Senpai starts getting involved with other potential love-interests, this is when the Insanity within the Yandere awakens, and she turns this psycho-induced rage against the love-interest, henceforth coined, "Rivals". Any tale involving a Yandere usually doesn't end happily, because normally the love-sickness towards the Senpai usually turns destructive in nature, as mentioned above; sometimes to the point of the Yandere turning her psychotic rage upon the Senpai. That being said, it's an RP that karma-wise, is destined to go way down south. But it'll DEFINITELY turn out to be an interesting and intense role-play experience. I'd greatly appreciate the person wishing to take this pairing.

My character is a young female demon. And the interesting variable in this pairing is that her power allows her to resurrect the Dead (assuming the personality/appearance of the dead) by eating a single piece of the Dead one's bones. This allows her to assume the full guise of the deceased for up to a week. Your character becomes obsessed with hunting mine down, but my character is infatuated with yours in that twisted way that demons love, and little do you know that you're not seeing things... but that she is using her power to try and court you.

The tyrant rule of Ramesses II in this pairing is brutal; conquest, war, torture of enemies of the state... People live in fear of the Pharaoh who rules with an iron fist. Many know that even one poorly-made statement in the Pharaoh's eyes can mean a trip to the Dungeon. Many Royal figures and Priesthoods do their best to live under the Divine Mandate that which the Pharaoh carries, but no one else is as stressed as the Queen herself.
She's the one who has to stand by the Pharaoh as he makes these cruel decisions and enforces his control over all of the Nile and the tribes surrounding it. She's the one who has to live with the remorse of his decisions, and can only hope to help guide him in some decisions that will allow her to practice some damage control on the populace, and hopefully even adore his role as ruler. But a glimmer of hope shines through... in the form of a sensually-practiced masseuse and bed-warming Companion slave who has just been subjugated under the Queen's control.
One of the critical points is how the Pharaoh views sex in reference to the Queen. He does not practice coitus as an art, and only uses it to benefit himself, leaving the Queen repressed in a certain way. My character is a female servant who helps do chores around the Palace. After a particularly stressful day for the Queen, the female servant lays herself before the Queen's feet, and begs her to allow her to help ease her stress with a benign massage. She opens up to the request, and after some sensitive pampering that is beyond that which the Queen would expect from the Queen, tensions escalate and she ends up getting romantically involved with the servant.
The servant (MY character) effectively begins to take on a multi-purpose and key role when it comes to caring for the Queen (your character); acting as a therapist who hears her complaints about royal life; a masseuse who relaxes her body through the methods of acupuncture and practiced Eastern methods; and a bed-warmer as well as a consort to when the Pharaoh is away to help sate her desires. The Queen being out of touch with sexual interaction as a comfort, pleasure and an art; the servant begins to practice well-versed arts of sensualism upon the Queen, and even teaches her a trick or two to use upon the Pharaoh and gain further support. Eventually it escalates that through therapeutic treatment, the servant becomes a Royal Advisor in all but name, and their relationship flourishes in a way that through their unique bond, she is able to start pulling some strings when it comes to controlling the Pharaoh.
This pairing is destined to become a seriously drama-themed role-play and even gain some serious attention in the sexual department without touching on BDSM themes and becoming wholly involved with sexual intercourse. I am really craving this pairing.

Progression managed to skyrocket from 2020 to 2080; robotics and engineering technology managed to help create the first robots viable for security and consumer use. Despite this, the main powerhouse of robotics technology flourished in Japan. The Chinese and Korean nation pooled together their resources in manpower and nuclear-powered technology with the engineering savvy of Japan, and the Collective of Hengsha was formed... resulting in World War III.
World War III progressed in a way where the Coalition of Hengsha managed to control robotic armies and use them for world conquest. However, NATO engineers also managed to pool their resources, resulting in the creation of the popularized Exo Suit, which granted Humanity robotic strength and speed, in addition to the more advanced fire-power and arms race existing between the United States and Europe... the result of World War III was that NATO forces proved to the Coalition of Hengsha that while robotics may have been the superior movement, that there was nothing that could replace the human soldier (or worker). However, despite the robotics race being stalled for indefinite amounts of time, Neo-Tokyo was still allowed to maintain sovereignty, so long as they kept the control of their robotic communities on a leash.
However, in the year 2112, there was a surge in the development of Bio-tech regarding the enhancement of biological regeneration properties. The results were dreadful; an experimental drug rumored to have ground-breaking results in the enhancement of regeneration properties ended up turning out 100% lethal... and still holding some effect in the regeneration process. The zombie apocalypse reigned for about 8 years, due to the fact that the 'zombies' managed to retain most self-sentient brain faculties, absent the capabilities of speech and socialization beyond instinctive and pheromonal communication. Exposure to nuclear-powered plants only exacerbated the issue, sending the drug-infected patients regeneration processes out of control and caused the inception of mutants. Severe fire-power and a linear regression back to napalm allowed the outbreak to be fought back and eventually contained.
But it would turn out that Humanity, while becoming anxious from all the worldly strife going on with the times of the last 40 years, that they would continue to not learn from their mistakes.
Turns out that during the Outbreak of 2112, Neo-Tokyo was keeping an isolationist policy and continuing their technological advancement within the walls of the city. While life was becoming much safer and significantly more comfortable in Neo-Tokyo, advancements in Artificial Intelligence and cybernetic enhancement were being introduced into the city for consumer use. Life expectancy doubled due to the development of artificial organs and adventures into pleasure and servitude had been ecstaticly revitalized due to the invention of Replicants; Androids which sported A.I that could pass for a human minus emotional receptors and cybernetic construction that passed for human flesh were created. Replicants were originally embraced as another technological enhancement, however prejudice of humankind still reigned; the Replicants caused the inception of a robotic slave trade where Maidbots, Protectrons, as well as Gigolo Joes and Courtesan Courtneys; early prototypes of Replicant sex slaves were sold on an exclusive black market which fanned out through the world. Everything was going so well... until a computer worm by the name of 'system-uta.pau' somehow wriggled it's way through the mainframes of all Replicant consumer systems and infected previously existing robotic systems; a system which corrupted robotic safeguards and spliced together certain A.I. Protocols which contradicted the programming of the originals. The Machine Wars began shortly thereafter.
First, it was the Replicant's move; using their pre-destined functions like their Maid-bot and sex slave protocols to get certain government officials all over the world in a vulnerable position for termination, which happened quickly; shortly after, the Protectrons and combat drones of the R-100 series amassed in forces and enforced a military coup over Neo-Tokyo. With every last resource of Neo-Tokyo at their side, and the world absent a great chunk of it's government, a war ensued between mankind and the machines that made World War III pale in comparison. In addition to rebooting the old Exo Suit and pooling some hacktivist resources, they were able to eventually gain their own edge against the Machines. However, the war did not come without a heavy cost; approximately 40% of the known human population was exterminated, and Neo-Tokyo was able to rebuild shortly thereafter, establishing the Replicant Registration Act and inserting some federally mandated A.I. Protocols which consisted of counter worms which would allow humankind to know if any further robotic A.Is were being subjugated and either fry their processors or notify the World when another virus like 'system-uta.pau' would arise again.

The year is 2142; the world is still recovering and mankind still reeling from the events that passed during the Machine Wars. The location is Neo-Tokyo; where people have just been struggling trying to return to normal life. Robots still patrol the streets as policemen, and Replicants walk freely as servants and emissaries of the populace. Only relatively poor, working or middle class people walk the streets. Or investigators, since the police force still manage the streets with humans at it's head.
Your character may be a human working class person, or another investigator or another Original Character. Mine will be an androgynous, non-registered multi-purpose Replicant; the first of her kind, having human anatomy, multiple functions, crude robotic parts and some things that are even more sinister...
For one, she has a severely advanced A.I; one that adapts to human interactions, which has been made illegal since the Machine Wars. She also has a full robotic Tritium Exo-Arm, and several functions; namely, A Maid-bot A.I., another sex-bot A.I, since she is made from the recent Lilith line, and a dark secret when it comes to her anatomy...
The whole premise is that she's made by a chop-shop owning black market scientist who apparently has a twisted passion for digging up things in the past. He makes crude murder-bots for the Underground entertainment section and she is his masterpiece; a crude experiment into what the dark-side of humanity will do to a vulnerable Replicant with an adaptable A.I. Not to mention that within her body she's carrying many dark secrets of the past, and between the murder-bots the scientist makes, and her having the ability to pull the puppet strings, there's a capability for the streets to see something more horrific than your usual run-of-the-mill machine murder-uprising....
You can be any Original Character you wish in this scenario, and even secretly be part of F.E.R.R.A. If you want. I'll be starting out as the Replicant who makes her way into the bar and subsequently starts a romance with your character. However, as the plot goes on, some bad stuff will happen and some serial murders will drag tension into the plot. In addition, several other dark secrets from the black market and Underground of Neo-Tokyo will play out, turning this into a romance story with a horror backdrop. After all, I've got a lot planned for this clusterfuck of a character, and I'm feeling zombies, for some reason... don't ask why, but if you're down, it'll definitely turn out to be fun...

The previous brackets upon this pairing... says it all. A spin-off could be initiated using an Archmage instead of a jail Warden, thereby throwing Magic and Summoning into the mix...

This is a role-play experiment based on polyamory and establishing emotional and spiritual connections with your lover(s). For those who are not aware, polyamory is the practice or desire for intimate relationships where individuals may have more than one partner, with the knowledge and consent of all partners. The word is often used as an umbrella term to describe multiple classifications of relationships or forms of sexual or romantic relationships that are not sexually exclusive. This means despite what the assumption may be, that this pairing is not smut-exclusive.
The relationship I would like to portray is a hierarchical polyamory with influences of swinging. This means basically that there's a hierarchy in place involving primary and secondary relationships; where Muse 1 (myself) initiates relationships with multiple partners via casual sex, but develops emotional connections with each lover later down the road, tying them into the 'dysfunctional unit' that is a polyamorous family. Later down the road, I'd like to touch on a sensitive subject with the writers involved, which covers spiritual dialects via sex and love between equals using Indian (Kamasutra) and Pagan(Wiccan) love-based religious practices. In short, using the love between the characters as a vehicle for spiritual realization and enlightenment/liberation.
If this does not align with your beliefs and morals, I encourage you to entertain the idea for a little bit, and read on. This is more of an experiment rather than a role-play. It will endeavor to see how it could exist between multiple people, and see if the characters can actually maintain the wisdom required for this to work. And the reason that this pairing's Sanity Grade is two-fold; one, being it actually covers religious practices centered upon sex and love, and the other being Muse 1 is an Empath and shares a small handful of other 'psychic' based abilities actually based on true stories. My character will be using these abilities to facilitate emotional connections between each lover, and govern the 'household' as the Head of House. As you can tell, this pairing is going to be preeetty controversial.... AND juicy!

If you wish to engage in this pairing, or have doubts that you wish to, I highly recommend that you at least voice your opinion, and try to join the pairing, even if it doesn't exactly align with your points of view. Make realistic characters that in some way, hold a unique trait that is your own. And as you're role-playing, if a certain bit in the role-play does not make you feel comfortable, or resentful of another character's actions in reference to your own, I encourage you to voice it in writing. After all, this experiment will be focused upon overcoming emotional and mental barriers within another lover, and getting them to co-exist as one unit. I encourage you, while In-Character, to voice your opinion in an indirect way, and the others shall answer in the corresponding way. This, however does not mean that I encourage you to incite drama willy-nilly, because that's not what this is about. Insert some Dystopian conflict that actually puts pressure on freedom fighters who need some convoluted way to overthrow the natural government (that needs to be debated here), and this.
Muse 1, Muse 2, and various other Players are part of a singular crew who is actually self-aware of the conflict, and know what it's going to escalate towards. Muse 1 has connections to one of the more notorious Mafia groups, while Muse 2 is an extremely skilled professional street-racer with a huge rap sheet and a psycho streak. I will be playing as Muse 2 in this set-up. They will engage in the battle for territory ongoing with the other crews, and when armed, the conflict will escalate. The main goal is that our crew becomes one of the most notorious, and the plot will finally culminate in a battle where a military coup with cars is undertaken by the protagonists.
Being knowledgeable, and Players willing, our group will consist of a Tuner, Mechanic, Defender, and our two Muses; all of which will have rides of their own... If you're willing to undertake secondary roles, let me know. If more than one person is interested in this pairing, perhaps we can come to an agreement.
Otherwise, this will continue as a 1x1, and the other roles will be played as NPCs.
In other words, it's a Need for Speed/Fast & Furious kind of role-play with a heavy emphasis on violence and car physics and cool stuff.
