3033: Storm Survival
First established by General Dalton Theo Bennett who spent his early military career aiding the E.M.D.P. (Emergency Management Disaster Protocol) to move towns out of whats now known today as Marked Zones to safety transport as many people into the Safe areas that were becoming built during that time. By midway through his career, he witnessed those of unnatural abilities destroy what was to be built. Blinded by the bad ones, General Bennett pulled together a small group of military comrades to gun down those of abilities on the spot to save those (without ability) who were searching for safer places to go.
Determination consumed General Bennett where he was given the green light to organize a larger group of soldiers to stop those with abilities to be transported into the soon to be Safe Zones. By design, engineers "worked with" the Kinesis General Bennett managed to capture who were disguising themselves as a Mediocris*. Equipment was assembled to be able to detect signature waves off those who possessed the unnatural ability. It worked for the most part, and yet did not as some Kinesis were able to slip through.
As time passed after General Bennett's organization of military, others stepped in line to follow what Bennett started. The build the small group became wider, and others looking into engineers to modify equipment in order to stay one step ahead of the Kinesis. Soon Armor Storm Unit was built by specialty trained engineers and military personnel to seek out the main objective and focus upon the group as a whole. A green light to okay the Unit through higher up government and technical personnel alike.
Today, Armor Storm Unit is an extremely intense boot camp to accomplish where its not only physicality, but mentality and intellect as well. Only the highest scored of all three can become a Venator* of Armor Storm Unit. One must be able to use body, mind, and tech as one to track down the vigilantes in whats left of the world.

It wasn't like humanity saw the demise coming to over turn ways of life as today. The time bomb started it's rhythm of ticking the moment mankind took notice of events happening. The question would be who really started the cause of the battlefield.
There was no mistake to turn cheek with the elevation of temperature. Second, were giant icebergs melting to skydive into the oceans and lets not forget caffeinated hyperactive weather patterns rising to follow suit. Out of control could have been an understatement to even give thought of ignoring the ticking moments.
However, technology was giving birth left and right as if they were shields and swords to accept Gaia's battle cry. The swords of humanities technologies wielded against the hot fires and iron to prepare Gaia's dispute. The first chess piece moved with an enormous Category 5 hurricane growling and rupturing lands uncommon for such power. The chess board was stationed.
Gaia flexed her muscles of destruction giving way to EMF high grade tornadoes, humanity defended back with wielded underground safe barriers. Shuddering magnitudes of earthquakes, plates body slamming roughly together. Humanity fought back with predictions to take note before the shudders started. Back and forth between defensive and offensive nature of the two forms. Gaia was smart however, moving her chess pieces ever so slightly and stepped back to observe mankind's next move.
Years seemed to drift by while the battle raged on. One side attempting to gain control over the other. Back and forth. Technology's refinement for a better future becomes the human races demise for the downfall instead of making compromise to Gaia. Some lines of territory shouldn't be dominated therefore Nature's balance has been broken dramatically spinning it haywire where the usual Hurricane/Typhoon seasons becomes reckless and extreme, Tornadoes breaking free from their usual hunting trails to move as they please. The Elements speaking to the human race as enough is enough of this control.

Though, in this sense it could be anything, whether it'd be parts of the body, half, just a part etc. To move the joints fluidly, there is a 'softer' metal that can contract and release for easy movements to remove any sort of constrictions that can pause movement within the human body. Whether is movement of joints, bending of the leg, or extending of the arms. Physicality enhancements would be tossed into this category.
Technology: an 'adjustment' that would lean more to technology based, such as computerized eyes through a face plate. An enhancement that neither influences mentality to the user nor the physicality.

I think the best way to describe the question is through scenario examples.
Example A: Let's say Lana is completely human, like you and me. She has been educated through the Safe Zone community she grew up, to learn the history that happened long ago how mankind pissed off Nature through use of technology by creating devices, equipment, buildings, and machines in order to 'chain down' Nature, but Nature wasn't kind to give in. Therefore the destruction continued until the cities you and I know today (2021) are gone and leading people to live in a dome like place in order to live a safe and happy go-lucky life. Yeah? Lana grew up with this mindset those who use "that same" idea to enhance ones body is selfish.
Lana comes face to face with a woman named Regina where she see's Regina is wearing a face plate on one side of her face and a computerized eye to link into the optical lobe to create eyesight. The face plate is to anchor the computerized eye and into the lobe. (which is located at the back and base of your brain. Where neck begins and skull ends.) Regina lost her eyesight due to lets say Diabetic retinopathy (blood vessels damaged in the retina due to diabetes) but she was given a second chance to be able to see clearer with this face plate. She is kind and an artist who loves to paint what she see's.
To Lana who see's Regina, she automatically judges her and patronizes her because she is selfish to giving in this horror. Lana may not understand the reason unless Regina becomes outspoken about it, but by first impression Lana can't believe this woman and feels completely disgusted with her before getting to know her.

Instead of Regina being kind and loosing sight from an illness, she is the opposite and purposely made it her mission to wanting this computerized eye. Instead of a grandeur view of vision, to amp up the enhancement its like a thermal vision to detect heat signatures. Regina wishes to use this newfound power to make it easier to detect anyone in a bank before she can sneak in to rob the safe and run away with a billion dollars. Regina "see's" Lana in the bank and demands to gets on the floor as well as others in the bank who attempting to protect themselves. Lana is fearful for her life and all she wished was to deposit her earn money into her account, but instead is gunned down by someone who is not only looking to harm others but to get what she wants.

Per '3033/After the demise' It's stated there were children becoming born during the wake of the fight before technology and nature. Whereas humans can make it their mission to be different by use of Enhancements, Kinesis never chose their life to be a Pyrokinetic, Telekinetic, Botanokinetic, so on. After the world was destroyed, new life began. Kinesis are subject to be kinda-sorta bastard children from Gaia. Humans don't understand how it happened with the phenomena (or do they?) but that doesn't mean they are cast aside. Regardless they are still looked upon whether they are indeed seeking to destroy further OR are like those who uses their abilities to his/her own advantage to survive.

- Miscetis et Procellas: Blend with Storms. Title meaning suggests more than just weather-related activity.
- Venator: Hunter. Term to describe the 'Soldiers' within the A.S.U. who hunt to capture/take down the Kinesis.
