Howdy! My Undertale phase comes and goes, and almost never includes "canon" characters. This time is no exception unfortunately.
No, I'm here to entertain a very specific question of mine in the form of a story, as short or long as my partner would like!

Before that question though, a bit about me!

Me
-Late twenties
-Roughly 15 years of writing experience, a mixture of solo and roleplaying via forums as well as a scattering of specific discord servers.
-Would consider myself in the middle ground of literacy, Roughly 300 to 600 word count on average.
-I prefer to alter the length of my posts to suit the situation, longer as things get more "active" in the scene and shorter as things wind down. After all, no sense in spending 300 words doing nothing but the literary equivalent of verbal vomit when all that's actually happening is someone walking through a door! However I will never drop as low as one liners! In general I will attempt to match the pace of my writing partner.
-Though I do not work often, I regularly help care for my Nephew, and as such there are periods of time when I will be unavailable to respond properly. I will always however, mention if I am unable to continue a roleplay flat out.
- Fairly "vanilla" in terms of kinks, with many of the to be expected "dislikes" If you have something in mind, let me know and I won't yuck your yum, I'll simply let you know if I'm willing to write it!

Next, what I'm looking for out of a writing partner!

You
-Identity irrelevant, just be you!
-Capable of a regular, average word count of at least 300 (Flexible, just give me something to work with when writing and I'll do the same for you)
-Able and willing to communicate and brainstorm outside of the RP, as I greatly enjoy talking with my writing partner not just about story concepts, but possibly amusing what ifs and other such things that might even worm their way into the setting itself.

__THE QUESTION AND THE STORY_
So, aware of the Undertale story or not, I'll describe this in the same way it comes across in my mind.

Monsterkind was sealed away underground by humanity god only knows how long ago, long enough that at least, for humanity to seemingly forget them and their legend so much that the mountain the monsters are trapped underneath, while vacant of human life, often results in children who quite concerningly find it very easy to not only climb it uncontested, but also fall into it's depths.

What happened in that underground in the years since their imprisonment humanity is unaware of, including just how they managed to escape.

And now here-in lay the question. In a vaguely modern day world, where humanity has left the concept of monsters to fantasy, stories and even religion... what happens when that mountain opens up and releases a whole race of varied 'monsters'? What happens when humanity learns of their ancestor's supposed sins? What happens when this race of monsters is revealed to not be bloodthirsty in the slightest? No horrible apocalypse or war for control... just a weary group of people seeking freedom? .... Most amusing of all... what happens when the "Furry Fandom" sees them, when many of these monsters quite easily and unsurprisingly fit into the near exact vision of their fantasy/fandom?

As for the story?

I have a character visually inspired by the goat-like royal family of Undertale, a giant of a young man with a chip on his shoulder and ice magic that when combined makes him a bit hard to approach. I'm looking to write a story involving him and your character, a human who ideally is part of said 'furry fandom'. Though I prefer this human character to be female, Who exactly they are, if they hide their participation in a possibly "uncomfortable" fandom for monsterkind, and how they go about grabbing my character's attention is wholly up to you!

If any of this grabs your interest please let me know via dms, and include any potential ideas you have! I will be far more likely to see and respond to dms if they have something more than just "hello I'm interested."
