Hiya, it's come out to play and I'm currently searching for something with a romance plot. I've already got my roleplay request thread on here but I figured why not create one for what I'm wanting at the moment, if this is against guidelines I'll happily remove it.
As you know I'm getting myself back into writing so please just bear with me, and that's all I really ask of potential partners and so on with the show.
Okay so we all know those little Christmas movies that start playing at the beginning of thanksgiving, well I wanted to possibly roleplay something sorta like one of those movies.
Plot-
Y/C is a prince of some country in line for the thrown but you're sorta the bad boy who acts out, so you end up going away to attempt to find yourself before you have to accept the thrown and everything.
M/C is a small-town young woman who works in her dad's bakery/coffee shop but she's also a college student, M/C has an abusive fiance she can't get out of the engagement or she's afraid to. That is until she meets Y/C at her workplace, she ends up really liking Y/C he makes her feel safe and alive but she has no clue he's a prince and they end up hanging out a lot and then they both end up falling in love with each other. But even though she's engaged to her abusive fiance Y/C tries to convince her to marry him instead and to go back to the kingdom with him.
M/C is hesitant but is in love with Y/C so she agrees to go to visit the kingdom for 2 weeks, the queen and king are set on the prince marrying an actual Princess so they Invite the princess so Y/C can get to know and possibly fall in love with her instead of M/C so Y/C is in love with M/C but agrees to hang out with the Princess to appease his parents M\C begins to get a bit jealous but attempts to shrug it off but the king and queen constantly disrespect M/C and makes her feel terrible so she leaves without Y/C knowing but leaves a note for him explaining why she left,
But what happens next? Will Y/C please his family and marry the princess or Will he decide M/C is the one and decide to go against tradition and go after the girl he's in love with?
We can discuss further or add to the plot id love to add any ideas because I'm hoping this to be a long term roleplay.
