NPC's For River's Story

Guardian - No real name given for River's guardian. When she was a child, he found her locked in a hideaway place in her parents' home. After he took her from her home, he traveled north to Shreveport and Bossier, looking for her father's family in Northwest Louisiana. Unfortunately, they had either moved away or had died between Kieran's marriage to Tessa and River's birth. With no real options, he settled on the outskirts of Shreveport with River, though he rarely interacted with her. Her education, and everything to do with her being raised was by an older woman that she referred to as "Auntie". Her Guardian kept in contact with her over the years, receiving daily and weekly updates on everything that went on in her day-to-day life. She doesn't know who or what he is: he could be a spellcaster or a shifter that's not fox. And it's very likely that he's something else entirely, having been drawn in by the potential carried by the young woman (Please note: If someone would like to take the role of her Guardian and explore a relationship between them, I'm not opposed to the idea. It's the primary reason I left it open).

Auntie - Auntie is a woman in her fifties to sixties who had the task of raising and educating River. She doesn't go by her real name nor does she give her name to anyone. It's likely that she's Fae of some kind and has ties to River's maternal family, but there is no basis for this aside from possibilities. Auntie is a kind woman who dotes on River and views her as her own daughter. She stands at 5 feet and 6 inches, with short graying hair and piercing blue eyes. She knows who River's Guardian is - he had appointed her, after all - but she doesn't keep any pictures or information about him lying around. This is either out of respect for his desire to remain anonymous or something else entirely. River still lives with her Auntie in an apartment above the shop where River works.
