Here are some plots and pairings, both original and fandom. Please keep in mind that I will occasionally scan potential partners' previous RPs in order to get a feel for how they write, and if I say no to you it's not because I'm a snob, but because I feel an RP between us would be frustrating, or at least ill-advised, for both of us--and that could be for a number of reasons besides post length, grammar, etc...and I'll usually tell someone why, rather than keep them wondering. If you'd rather I not peruse your previous pontifications and plotlines, provide me with a pleasant pattern, prototype or precedent upon which I can postulate the possibility of our RP'ing together because I can find no P word for 'compatibility'.
Sorry about that just now. Don't know what came over me. Just give me a short writing sample if you don't want me to take a look at your past RP's.
I play MxF on either side, I don't play actual FxF or MxM, but some of my plots (a couple I've put below and a couple I haven't) include characters in the wrong body, hermaphroditic species, or genderless entities. In addition, I can play FxF or MxM platonically, and I've done before and can do again a mistaken gender RP.
My hard limit is sex. When I say that, though, I mean that's literally where I throw the brakes on...steamy romance, nudity, heavy implications, the leading-up-to and the that-was-awesome are all completely okay with me. But I fade to black for the actual knocking of the boots.
I am not the one who knocks.
what is it with me tonight
I love fantasy, sci-fi, steampunk, cyberpunk, horror, supernatural. I can do Slice of Life, but I'm still getting better at it. I adore steampunk in particular, but I become super picky when it comes to that. All of these plots are negotiable, but with some of them there's a limit to how much I'm willing to change it.
If a pairing is entirely in bold, I'm fine with either role. If one name is bolded, I'd prefer that one. Some I might be willing to switch, though, so don't feel like you can't ask. ;)
If a plot has a * by it, I want to do it. If it has **, I really want to do it. If it has ***, I want to do it so badly, I'm scared to. Message me about these if they catch your eye. :)
-Be My Eyes
A consulting detective hires a personal assistant, who is astonished to find when she arrives at his home that he is completely blind. What starts as a professional relationship slowly turns into something else as they work together. (He can be something other than a detective, it's just the idea I initially came up with.)
-The Wrong Side*
A loving couple goes to bed--together, or apart, I'm flexible--and wake up in the wrong body. How did it happen? How will they cope? How will they proceed? Will they find a way to swap back, or will it be permanent? I'm willing to RP with a partner of either gender, playing either gender, but the way I'd most like to play it is as a male swapped into a female body.
-21 Days**
Slice-of-life with a touch of sci-fi. In a modern setting--or maybe in a very near future one, or maybe even a historical one--a celestial body is seen plummeting toward Earth. Because of its strange composition, telescopes did not detect it until it was less than a month away from impacting Earth and, due to its composition, speed and mass, destroying all life on it.
A day before this announcement, a man and a woman exchange brief words at a library, coffee shop, could be anywhere...and the day the announcement hits, one contacts the other, and, both alone in the world, they agree to be each other's for the remaining 21 days they have left. For this one, I imagined we'd actually have a countdown, Majora's Mask style, every day or timeskip, and maybe RP right until the moment of impact, or perhaps something miraculous happens and the meteor doesn't hit? We can play with that later.
-Different Worlds
Another thing I've wanted to try for the longest time is a romance or even just friendship between alternate versions of the same person across the divide of parallel universes. I'm thinking a physics student at a university, but it could be a lot of things. I'm thinking they start by interacting through a mirror, monitor, or something of the like, but as the universes drift closer people--not just them--start switching places, and eventually the universes may collide.
-The Gambler
A gambler in an Old West, steampunk, or even modern setting has been meaning to quit the game of chance, but his last game nets him winnings his opponents never intended to lose. They arrange to teach him a lesson by targeting the girl he's taken a liking to. He intends to avenge her. (We could do this a couple of ways; you could play the girl they target and they end up either kidnapping her or roughing her up, or we could have that girl die and you could play another character. We'll talk :D)
-Adrift
Two people are alive and drifting in a dead spaceship, parsecs away from the nearest shipping lanes and light-years distant from Earth.
I'd like to come up with the rest with you, together.
-The Need for a Hero
A crisis in an ultramodern metropolis coaxes new and old superheroes out of hiding, only to ignite a long and deadly war. This could be dark and gritty, or comical and sweet, depending on whether we want it to be dark, whether we want romance, etc. I can play either gender for this, and I have a really weird female one if you're interested, but if not, I can come up with more conventional ones :p
-The Tin Soldier*
A steampunk setting--the American or German Civil War, the Crimean War, some war we make up, etc.
A high-ranking officer is sent to war and comes back wrong--his wife is greeted with a man made of almost as much machine as flesh. How will this affect their once passionate relationship? How will it affect their daily lives--and the lives of a hundred soldiers who stand to be 'machined' or not based on how this one test subject turns out?
-A Troubled Relationship
A young man and woman in the Victorian Era court and begin to fall in love.
-Phantom Pain**
In a cyberpunk future, a team of 'fixers' investigate a problem for a private client, only to find out the problem is far from personal, and threatens order in the city-state arcology in which they live.
-4L1C3***
I'm sorry, that's one of the cringiest things you've ever seen, I'm sure, but it's a concept I've been dying to try out--a cyberpunk hacker version of Alice in Wonderland. Message me for more details, if you're interested.
-A Rescue Puppy***
She found him on the side of the street and was surprised that he was 22. He certainly didn't look 22. He looked--he looked like a barely 18-year-old she. Apparently he'd been roommates with a bigger guy, a possessive and abusive one, and when the littler one dared to say no to an objectionable arrangement, his 'owner' trashed him but good and left him out in the cold. He needed a home--but more importantly, he needed a less toxic relationship and someone to help him realize his own value and strength again. (This is not a pet RP. This is the aftermath of an unwanted quasi-pet relationship gone wrong. Just want to make that clear.)
-A Rescue Puppy, Take Two***
Same story hook. Different take. In this one, the late teen/young adult male the girl finds is a werewolf who was once owned by a wealthy gangster who pitted him against others in inhumane underground fight clubs. Got the idea from a friend, fell in love with it. Still not a full on pet RP, just so y'know. :)
-The Good Days*
He lost his girlfriend a year ago today. They'd always come to the coffee shop on the corner together--he'd hated coffee, but had always gone because he loved her. Now, for the past year, he's gone to the shop on their normal date night like clockwork, ordering her usual.
Her best friend works at the coffee shop, but not usually on that shift. She's going through her own mourning, so seeing her best friend's boyfriend in a bad way too encourages her, and they reach out to one another.
Grieving slowly turns into the question marks that always surround a new relationship.
-Stuck With You
Reincarnation's a butt, isn't it? You die and you think you'll finally be rid of this thorn in your side, only to find out when you get refiled that you've gotten assigned to them again. This is a really broad one that I hope to develop further with you, if you'd like. :)

Corvo Attano x OC
Corvo Attano x Empress Jessamine Kaldwin (Pre-Dishonored, or AU)
Chosen Undeads (Dark Souls)
Fandom plots:
-Deathpool (Deadpool x Death)*
It's known that Deadpool cannot easily die; but he and Death are desperately in love with each other. When he's decapitated and his neck cauterized, Death shows up to fix Deadpool and allow him to generate a new body while they hunt for the now re-headed, but amnesiac original body. May include super creepy romance scenes with Death...but that's not at all a bad thing :p Those of you who've played the video game know why I like this idea. The whole Day of the Dead look really looked good on her :D
-Restored to Life (Ra's Al Ghul x Barbara Gordon)
Oracle's birth was almost Barbara Gordon's death. There isn't a day that goes by that everyone involved doesn't regret what happened (Joker being the obvious exception) but there's nothing that can be done to change it. Or is there? When a mysterious informant contacts Oracle about a way to restore her body to its original condition, she's skeptical. When he reveals that this resource may be misused by a villain, she gets interested. When she agrees to meet him, who does she meet but Ra's Al Ghul...at the edge of a Lazarus Pit.
-The Phazon Resurgence (Samus Aran x Alien OC)
Samus encounters a rogue alien that identifies itself as an 'agent of cleansing' and has abducted several Federation special operatives--specifically, those who were put on high-risk assignments during the Phazon Crisis and survived. When she tracks him down to his base on the recovering planet Tallon IV, where it all started, she finds the alien, an advanced humanoid, has quarantined his captives, who are now showing signs of phazon sickness. He informs her that the crisis isn't over, and asks for her help in cleansing the captives and the last Leviathan, in exchange for letting him cleanse her--as she also is beginning to relapse...
-The First Mission (Younger Samus x Young Adam Malkovich/Human OC)
Scarcely out of training on Chozodia, Samus is thrust into her first real crisis. Meeting a young Adam Malkovich (or an OC) she teams up with the Galactic Federation to deal with a terrifying threat--a parasitic intelligence that intends to enslave all intelligent races.
-A Chink in Her Armor (Samus x OC/Young Adam Malkovich)**
Early in Samus' career, she meets a man (I'm thinking either a civilian, a military scientist or technician, or a young Adam Malkovich) at a grand gala hosted by the Galactic Federation. As a camera goes off, the bounty hunter suffers from a flashback to one of her first missions. Thinking the camera to be a plasma turret, she tackles this man to the ground to keep her safe--in the process tearing her gown, staining both her own clothes and his with their drinks, and causing a server to fall with a tray of food and drinks. Embarrassed, flustered, and shaken by the flashback, she stammers an excuse and flees--but the man pursues out of curiosity, concern, and perhaps care.
-The Hero and the Hatchling (Samus Aran x Link)*
Samus crash-lands on a planet and wakes up in a forest shack, with a young ranger tending her wounds. He introduces himself as Link, and informs her that according to prophecy, her arrival heralds the rise of two heroes, and a dark, abiding evil. I have a super secret idea about this plot, message me for it if you're interested ;)
-Alternately, Samus comes to the Planet Hylia and finds galactic bounty hunter Link fighting a Leviathan that has some strange mystic power she's never encountered before.
-A Heart for the Hero (Link x Gerudo OC)*
Link escapes a Gerudo Fortress in an attempt to gather certain macguffins (depending on if this is a canon Zelda game plot or an all-new setting) when he's knocked out, but wakes up in a shelter miles from the fortress, in the care of a single Gerudo who's taken a liking to him--and he can't say he's indifferent to her.
-Return of the Hero (Link x Zelda)**
Link returns to Hyrule after seven years of self-imposed exile. The reunion should be a sweet one between him and Zelda...but instead, he finds that a rogue sorcerer is causing trouble, trying to bring Ganondorf back, so he's thrown back into the fray, even as he tries to reignite what he may have had with the princess.
-A New Home (Link x Midna)*
AU. Fatally wounded by Ganondorf in their climactic battle at the end of LOZ:TP, Link won't last long. After some deliberation, Midna and Zelda agree that the only way to save him is the way Zelda saved Midna--the princess of a given realm can imbue a dying denizen of the other realm with that realm's power. In this case, Link would have to go to the Twilit Realm, and Midna would transform him into a Twili, or at least a Twili/Hylian hybrid.
Once in his new home, Link serves Midna as a knight, but grows closer to her personally...until a formless evil rises from the depths of the Twilight.
-Rise of the King (Ganondorf x Gerudo OC/Nabooru) (AU)
The story of how Ganondorf became the King of the Gerudo, with the support of one woman who believed from the first in his standing as the future king. It follows a young daddy G on the trial-by-fire all Gerudo males go through to prove they are equal to women, and on his first war campaign against Hyrule, culminating in his confrontation with a silent, green-clad warrior.
-Fall of Rapture (OC x OC)
Bioshock RP. Two survivors meet shortly after the fall of Rapture. I'm thinking one's a splicer and the other's never touched the stuff, but we can discuss the dynamics of how they're the same/different.
-Return of the Crownless King (OC x OC)
No More Heroes is a game that really flew under the radar of a lot of people; Suda51 is a really strange toon when it comes to game design, and NMH is one of the best examples of that delightful, off-color lunacy. For this, I'm looking to play an OC opposite an OC who are both ranked assassins for the UAA, in the wake of the disappearance of Travis Touchdown, the man who climbed to the top twice. Plot points involve a localized zombie outbreak via mind-controlling TV broadcasts, a moon base equipped with a death laser, the return of several old names and the introduction of even more new ones, and a final climactic showdown with the Crownless King himself.
Dark Souls:
We can do OCs in any of the three DS settings, and I've got an original one brewing. Or we can do a pairing with an OC and Priscilla (Ack! Such Waifu!) or from DS III, Vordt and the Dancer before they're corrupted by Pontiff Sulyvahn's power...they look like such a cute couple walking all ghostly through the Arboreal Valley.

Such Waifu!) or from DS III, Vordt and the Dancer before they're corrupted by Pontiff Sulyvahn's power...they look like such a cute couple walking all ghostly through the Arboreal Valley.
JK, this is closer to it
I've always thought that the Super Mario Bros. universe could be revamped into something truly interesting. Imagine a world driven by steam-powered pipes, where levitation is possible and buildings can extend far into the sky. A world inhabited by living mushrooms, talking turtles, and humans in equal measure. Royal plumbers keep up the pipes that keep the kingdom running, and defend the precious machines that fuel them from any threat, including the dissidents like the fire-breathing tyrant beast Bowser and his air fleet. Take away the cutesy animation style and it actually becomes a compelling steampunk/fantasy tale. Would you like that? I know I would. Let's try it. I'm down to play Mario, Luigi, an OC, against your Peach, Daisy, OC, or perhaps we could just play the brothers in a non-romance adventure.
...It's late. I'm loopy. But this is honestly an idea...
