My name is Faye and I'm a 18+ advanced literate - novella writer who's absolutely dying to roleplay! I'll list some of the prompts I've been wanting to explore below; they vary across genres and settings.

• It is a world where the ancient gods are openly recognized and worshipped. However, with continuous advancements and breakthroughs, mortals have begun to believe that they don't need the protection or the influence of these deities anymore. M/C is one of them: a scientist who gives lectures discrediting the gods. Only for Y/C, one of the gods, to attend a lecture of M/C's out of morbid curiosity to see what the fuss is all about, and that's where it all begins. Perhaps Y/C is enamored right away, or simply hates them and everything they stand for—they become determined to show M/C just how great the gods are, how powerful, until that determination becomes yearning, and soon darkens into twisted obsession with the mortal.
• M/C, a diplomatic envoy is hosted by the royals of a foreign kingdom/empire—the twist here is that the envoy is actually an elite assassin sent to murder Y/C, the ruler. Only, unexpectedly, Y/C develops a dangerous obsession with the envoy and refuses to let them return to their homeland.
• A puritan-esque setting where an unspeakable evil lurks beyond the woods, one so malicious even mention of his being is forbidden. Every year, a "bride" is sacrificed in hopes to keep the settlement safe from his wrath. But when M/C's sister is chosen as the next sacrifice, she takes her place and vows to slaughter the monster, Y/C, like he slaughtered all others before her, and free her home from this curse.
• A perilous deal struck between a human and an immortal being (Fate, Grim Reaper, wizard, etc.).
• Because of unfavorable circumstances, M/C has no choice but to move in with a relative they've never met before—a wealthy, secluded uncle who has little interaction with the outside world. It is not long, however, before M/C discovers that the only reason their uncle took them under his wing is because his family made a vow to an influential family of vampires long ago; that he'd compensate them for having wronged them in some way in the past. Now the time has come, and the compensation is a bride for the son of the family—Y/C.

- Years before, a boy from a noble bloodline is selected as a companion for Y/C, a prince—but when the boy unexpectedly perishes in a tragedy, his family, blinded with ambition and afraid to fall out of favor, force M/C, his twin sister, to impersonate him and grow close to Y/C. Fastforward years later; M/C continues to disguise herself as a man and could even be involved in the growing rebellion against the new tyrant. Y/C? He has clawed and slaughtered his way to the throne, and now with his reign spiraling out of control and the realm on the verge of collapse, his only comfort lies in one person—M/C, his dearest friend. But what began as fondness has deepened into something darker…. [ ideally an Ancient Chinese-inspired setting for this. I'm also open to more niche settings such as Goryeo / Joseon (fellow sageuk lover here) or even Japan! However, it's not a must and I'm absolutely happy to go with something standard. I am also open to coming up with a world entirely of our own creation. ]
