Down an out-of-the-way alley - in one of the small but bustling and sandy sub-cities surrounding one of the various oases that make up the vast desert city of Sunfire - stands an elaborately carved cherry wood door with an elegantly crafted silver doorknob situated in an unassuming, shared with only a large display window, sandstone wall. Through which is a cozy, candle lit, occult shop that doesn't see many visitors but sells an assortment of items from candles and potions to books on the occult and crystals; and everything in between. Even clothes.

The smell of burning wood from the more ornamental then for heat fireplace and incense mingling, but not overpoweringly so, in the air while the smoke from the incense sticks lazily curls and drifts in a light, magically created breeze that moves slowly throughout the room. Which is cooled by a gentle, permanent winter spell that provides soothing relief from the heat outside. Stairs leading up to the second floor draw the eye to a large, ornate stained-glass window that allows in just a bit of filtered sunlight to also help brighten the otherwise dim shop.

A deep purple curtain with silver embroidered edges and a motif of the silhouette of a peaceful Goddess surrounded by the many aspects of the universe separates the back room from the rest of the shop. What the room might be for is a mystery to all but the fair-skinned, red-haired, and green-eyed felidae kemonomimi female that stands behind one of the many tables close to the front of the shop - a Grimoire open in front of her as she deftly grinds herbs together with a dark stone pestle in a matching small mortar... All the while the crimson red feline ears atop her head twitch and swivel towards any sounds as a long matching feline tail swishes lazily back and forth behind her.

"Hai~ Welcome to my crazy little beautiful corner of our wonderfully diverse universe."

A warm, welcoming smile beams out of the delicately beautiful, fair, and freckled face of the female felidae demihuman as she looks up before greeting her guest with a small wave of her right hand; whose slim, dexterous fingers are crowned with well-manicured nails. She stands at just under five-and-a-half-feet tall with a voluptuous hourglass figure that her light purple, toga-like gown enhances just enough to be alluring but not overbearing. Her hands move with quick, graceful actions as she returns to grinding herbs with practiced movements... though her sensitive, feline ears stay angled towards the visitor as her gaze drops back down to concentrate on what she's doing. A half-curtain of long, wavy crimson red locks cascades down her back to end just past her ass while the rest is piled atop her head in a messy looking bun, the color making the emerald green color of her eyes stand out even more in her fair, freckled face with their cat-like slit pupils and thick eyelashes.

"I'm Shiloh, the owner of this quaint little shop. Please, come in and have a look around.... Let me know if you need any help and welcome to...."

About Me

So, as you've probably already guessed, I really enjoy roleplaying. Whether its short, live site rping or long, forum rps, I find it all enjoyable... Though, I really do love detailed roleplays the best cause details add to the story and help make imagining what's going on easier. It's also the perfect, harmful to no one, way to let my active imagination run free and wild - being something other than myself in a setting other than reality. The freedom that comes with roleplaying is just so exhilarating - I can try pretty much anything without harming anyone, myself included.

Of course, I don't just use roleplaying as a way to tell stories with another person. I also use it lightly when chatting with people ooc so they know what my mood is like instead of using a ton of text speech and emojis. That's not saying I don't use emojis or text speech here or there, like brb/tyt and those cute little cat face emojis ^w^. But I definitely stay away from using too much text speech cause it's just so impersonal and confusing.

I am very much an unapologetic ERPer. I greatly enjoy when the roleplays I'm in have an erotic, intimate or not, aspect to them. But I also believe that rp with no plot is like a movie or book with no storyline... Unless it's a one-off sex scene, I guess. Giggles softly with a light-hearted shrug and wave of her tail as the tip of her right ear gives light twitch. Which are normally found, from what I've seen anyway, on live sites.

Yes, I started as a roleplayer on live sites like VU or Eka's Portal... And they almost always had NSFW content. Unfortunately, those kinds of sites don't really allow people to post more than a single paragraph(unless you want a wall of text) but do allow for fast-paced, almost instant, replies based off what's going on in the lives of the people behind the characters. Which is also the extent of my experience with group rps.

But, after a while of doing what seem like the same thing over and over again, I grew bored. So, I started thinking about where else I could go to roleplay. Sites that allow for more detail, more paragraphs, more everything with other writers that enjoy rping as well. That's when a friend, who also enjoyed rping but in more of a story-building way, introduced me to forum sites. Even becoming my first ever forum partner before rl pulled them away. I've been enjoying forum roleplaying ever since.

Now, I know I can't be everything for everyone. I mean, not everyone is going to like what I like and there's no guarantee that I'll like what you do. That being said, I truly do hope to at least make some new friends/rp partners here. The just under five-and-a-half-foot tall, voluptuous felidae kemonomimi gives a soft, friendly smile before moving on.

On a more serious note, I'd like to let everyone know that my moods change randomly and without warning while governing what I do and when. So, if I go silent without warning, it's nothing against anyone personally or the roleplays I'm in! I simply enjoy doing other things and ask for patience from any partners as I intend to always come back. No matter how long I may be away cause roleplaying is my absolute favorite hobby. Expectations

As much as I'd like to say that I have no expectations, I can't cause I do. Over the past fifteen+ years that I've been roleplaying, I've realized that there are some things that end up either killing the roleplay for me completely or simply making them uninteresting to start with. All of which will be described in the writing style and pairing sections.

While roleplaying, I pull from rl experiences, books I've read, and shows/movies I've seen. So, if it's something I haven't done, read, or seen, I'll be less inclined to do it as I'll have a hard time making sure my characters reactions/actions are appropriate for what's going on. BUT! That doesn't mean totally against. Just be ready to explain or point me in the right direction if I ask "What?"

Also, I do believe that ooc conversations with partners are very important. Not only so we can hash out the start of the rp but so we can also let each other know if something is done that we don't like or if either of us has an idea for the rp. Though I much prefer for new ideas to be thrown in as plot twists during the roleplay as long as they make sense for the storyline, of course. I also like when the rp has a go-with-the-flow, really let-our-imaginations-run-free vibe.

☾ MY WRITING STYLE​

› Detailed, multi-para (500-1000+ words). I try to match my partner, but it also depends on what I'm given.
› English literate with reliance on IS's spell-and-grammar check function. Random typos might still happen occasionally but are fixed as soon as I spot them.
› Third person. First = Too personal; Second = Too confusing
› Mix of past and present tenses. I know, it's weird but it makes sense to me, and I've never had anyone complain so... shrugs
› I am able to reply as soon as two hours after reading a partner's post, depending on length, but that isn't always the case as my other interests - or even the people around me irl - do sometimes pull me away from writing. But I am not ghosting you! And I will reply.​

☾ YOUR WRITING STYLE​

› Thick paragraph or more, please. The more detailed the better, really. There's not much I can do with a single sentence reply...
› English literate or semi-literate, use IS's spelling-and-grammar check, please. And NO text speech! Having to decipher a partner's message/reply is an immediate killage of the vibe for me.
› Third person is preferred but I won't stop you from using whatever you're most comfortable with.
› Reply when you're able too. There may be times when my own replies will take a while, so yea... But please, please, please let me know if you lose interest in the rp.​

Plots & Pairings

As with my expectations, I wish I could say I'm not picky when it comes to genres and pairings but, alas!, that is once again not the case. I've come to realize that there are many pairings and settings that I find uninteresting simply because of personal preference. That being said, don't feel like you can't come to me with ideas of your own. I'm always happy to hear the plots and ideas of other people... BUT! that doesn't mean a roleplay will happen. Fair warning.

The ~Spotlight Plot~ (if there is one) is the plot I'm really, really, REALLY interested in doing. It'll have the ~ symbols on either side of the name. If you come at me curious about or interested in the Spotlight Plot, you'll most definitely snag my attention.

When it comes to pairings, there are those I like, those I'm okay with, and those I refuse to even entertain. Playing a male/masculine character is an example of something I can do but choose not to, so it ends up in my Nope category. Please don't ask me to play a male character.

For genres, I tend to stick with things that I already like as a book reader and movie/show watcher. Though genres like x-punk aren't one's I'm very familiar with nor have I roleplayed in such genres, just like horror. However, I've done a lot of medieval fantasy type rps in the past... as well as quite a bit of slice-of-life, which is why I prefer to stay away from those two genres currently.

Other pairings and settings not mentioned can, of course, be discussed.

MC's young soul, after a rather difficult and abusive night at the hands of her drunk stepfather, calls out for help and YC just happens to be the one to hear it. Upon seeing her, he feels a pang of protectiveness for the small, frail girl and thus offers her his eternal protection. Without hesitation she accepts then knows relative peace for the rest of her young life as he never leaves her side. Always managing to dissuade anyone who might cause her harm without revealing himself. Years pass and MC is now a young woman who hasn't called on YC for a while due to how well he kept his promise. However, something happens that has her once again calling for her protector's help. Its then that their dynamic begins to shift, and she starts to realize that he's so much More Than an Imaginary Friend.​

KITTY'S NEW OWNER​

Kitty's abducted by an all-black, plateless RC Van while walking home from work one evening simply because of her race, though she doesn't know that. Only to wake up in a cage similar to one you'd keep a large bio-dog (or real dog; that went extinct on this world) in, in the dimly lit back room of a RC Pet Shop and surrounded by others in similar cages of varying sizes. Though most, if not all, the occupants of the near-by cages are asleep. While Reformation Centers, or RCs, are known throughout for giving criminals new leases on life as semi-mindless slaves or pets, only a few are privy to the fact that not all pets are "recruited" via the normal means. Or that some Centers will forgo some aspects of the reformation process if a hefty donation for research is provided.

Once at a RC, the subjects who are slated to become pets undergo physical alterations. Some more than others depending on race though all get alterations to their arms and legs, to allow for better movement while on their hands and knees... But that's not what prevents them from ever standing again. The Regression Serum does that. To replace the inhumane lobotomies that were used when non-bio pets became the answer to the rapid decline of bio-pets, the more humane serum was developed to put the subject to sleep before regressing their minds down to that of an obedient animal. Able to obey the simplest of commands unless trained to obey more. Luckily, the Pet Shop Kitty's in is a private shop that pays constant, lofty donations simply to specialize in fully sentient pets for a select and wealthy clientele.

Which is exactly what YC is looking for when he comes in to inspect the newest pets that the Shop has to offer. While looking over the new stock in the back rooms, something about the small felidae catches his eye and he simply has to be Kitty's New Owner.​

TAME THE SNAKE​

MC holds a high rank in YC's hellish domain. As such she's never truly had to submit to anyone; though she does show the required respect to those who hold a higher rank than herself. However, inside, she's tired of always having to be the powerful, in-control lamia that everyone else sees. Instead, she secretly craves to submit to someone more powerful but is too afraid to take that chance with anyone. YC has known every pleasure there is to be had within his domain and has grown bored of the same things over and over again.... He fears he will never find his interests piqued again until he sees just how strong and powerful MC has grown within his domain. She's the perfect distraction from his boredom and he very well may be the one to Tame the Snake.​

Kinks & Limits

I'm a natural born submissive... and that's the role I will always prefer to play in any roleplay. But that doesn't mean I can't be assertive or that I'm a slave with no say. Much to stubborn and vocal to be a slave, if I'm being honest. Besides, having a power tug-of-war via teasing and what-not before being put in my place is super fun. That being said, it's one part of my real life that bleeds through into my roleplays and prevents me from ever being the truly dominant or authoritative party. I have tried in the past and its always killed the rp for me, so I've simply stopped trying and come to terms with the fact that it's simply something I can't do.

However, that's only one thing I've tried and not liked, there are plenty of other things I've tried and liked. As well as things I haven't tried at all and, of course, things I will NEVER try because they repulse me. Now, the kinks I've listed below are by no means everything I'm into, but they are the ones I enjoy the most. That being said, the things under my Limits section are non-negotiable. I won't do them.
