Hello the name is J, my pronouns are whatever you wish them to be I'm not picky. I am brand new to this website; however, I am by no means new to roleplaying. It has been a very long time since I have written and roleplayed with another person (about a year and a half) but I have been getting the desire to get back into it. I have been writing for about 15 years, some good, some cringy, some I still think about to this day and some that I wish I could forget. To be completely transparent, I am not the most consistent partner, I can go from responding multiple times a day every day for a week, to not responding for like a month because the world is overwhelming and being an adult is exhausting. That being said, I love OOC chat where we plan and come up with fun ideas for our story as I find this a good way to stay engaged in the story.

A bit about my writing:
  • I prefer MxM pairings, but I am open to MxNB
  • I can write as top, bottom, switch, submissive and dominant.
  • I write anywhere between one solid paragraph to multiple paragraphs per post up to novel length posts but i need to dust the cobwebs first
  • I prefer writing in third person perspective.
  • Depending on the story my character sheets can go from super detailed to just enough to build upon. You will always get a name, age, pronouns, general personality/presentation, and a image reference ( real or art I can work with your preference).
  • When it comes to mature scenes, I can go full explicit or fade to black. I do like more story than smut, but that doesn't mean a good story can't have alot of smut. It's all about balance.
  • Kinks wise i'm pretty open, willing to try anything once and if I have already tried it and I'm not a fan, I'll let you know. Ask and I'll happily tell you some of my personal faves.
  • My ideal roleplays usually include some of the following: angst, moral ambiguity, moral corruption, healing from trauma, experiencing and processing traumatic events, betrayals, fighting fate, complicated relationships, hurt and comfort, life or death situations, graphic violence (not meaningless, it has to make sense within the world we are creating), supernatural aspects and more things that I can't think of right now. In general, if it's a darker theme, I'm probably going to enjoy it. That being said I will go for the occasional lighter hearted roleplays, but I have to really like the plot idea.
  • If you have any further questions, feel free to ask.
With that out of the way, here are some pairings that have been piquing my interest lately. Some I have plot ideas for, some I just know it's something I'm interested in exploring. I might come back later and actually write out a couple of the plot ideas I have but for now here are the pairings:

  • Vampire Sire x Vampire Spawn
  • Prince x Knight or Bodyguard
  • Under Cover Cop x Mafia Escort
  • Mafia Boss Son x Chief of Police Son (This could also be a best friends/child hood friends pairing, no matter what they will be college age)
  • Newly Turned Vampire x Vampire Hunter (Another one that could be a childhood friends based one)
  • Underground Fighter x Doctor or Medically Savvy Citizen
  • More to be added

Some Old and New Plots:

Touched By The Sea

This would be between Character A who is an infamous and wildly feared pirate known as the pirate king. He has minor abilities in being able to control the sea, to tame the waves when they are too rough and change the course of the wind when he needs to. He is unsure of how he got the abilities, only would have a vague memory of being washed up on a beach with a beautiful figure hovering over him, telling him he would be ok, that he would survive. Then after that the sea was constantly calling to him. He would have the largest bounty on his head and is known for picking up strays who had been wronged by the royal guard or had troubled pasts. Character B is found in a shipwreck of a navy vessel, he had chains around his wrists but was wearing a royal guard jacket. Character A is immediately enraptured by his beauty, he feels this pull towards him he cannot explain, and there is just something so familiar about him that he can't bring himself to simply toss him overboard. He discovers that Character B has no memory of who he is, why he was on that ship, what happened on that ship or why he was wearing a royal guard's jacket. So, this would cause immediate distrust and hesitancy from the Pirate King (Character A) but he keeps him around anyways, treating him coldly but slowly gaining trust in him. This will primarily focus around trying to figure out who Character B is (or more accurately what he is), i have many ideas for this plot, here are a few key ones:
  • Character B is a sort of sea deity who gave up his godlike form to walk as a human, to find the one he had saved years ago and left his mark on (Character A). He went to a sea witch for this, and there are certain side effects from the deal he made. However, he does not realize this because when he was transformed he lost all memories of when he was a god. He doesn't know it but the deal he made states that he needs to find Character A and get him to fall in love with him, otherwise he will die, unable to sustain the human form he is in since some of his powers are still within him and his transformation isn't complete until he finds what he was changed for. (kind of like the little mermaid only instead of losing his voice, he lost his memory)
  • Obviously i kind of want a fantasy theme in this, so mermaids, the kraken, all of it. And this will aide in hinting who Character B is because he would be able to hear and understand them, and all of these mythical sea creatures would be mourning his loss because he was like their creator, and they would be searching for him. Which could make for a bunch of cool/dangerous scenes
  • I feel like having a few well-developed side characters will really help this be interesting, so it's a huge bonus if you are willing to play more than one character every now and then, but CB and CA will be the main focus.

A Dangerous Game (I would like to play CB in this)
Character A is the new detective for the NYPD, fresh out of the police academy and eager to prove himself. He is the youngest hire within the department and has everything to prove to those who think he is too inexperienced for the job. Which is probably why he finds himself drawn to the hard cases, the ones that have been going on for years with dead end after dead end or have been classified as cold cases due to the lack of evidence. The case right now that has his full attention is the growing presence of the Korean mafia within their city, and the damage they have been inflicting. twenty one unsolved murders, thirty two robberies, money laundering accusations, an influx of drug related incidents, two terror attacks and countless missing persons reports, all somehow related to the Korean mafia but only through circumstantial evidence or speculations. Everyone knows who is responsible, everyone is aware of the man who was most likely the face of it all, one Kim Hoseok, but no one is willing to stand witness against him. He seems untouchable, but CA is determined to find a way to bring him and his criminal ring down. So far the best lead they have, is also one of the biggest head aches the police department has ever encountered. A seemingly 17 year old kid, with a sharp tongue and an apparent knack for being in the wrong place at the wrong time. He has been arrested for a slew of misdemeanors and as a person of interest for over 75% of the cases that are associated with the Korean mafia. However, he always seems to get bailed out or finds a loop hole to escape detainment. They have never been able to keep him for more than 24 hours and he has denied any involvement with Kim Hoseok even when anonymous beneficiaries pay his expensive bail costs, or a high class lawyer suddenly shows up to negotiate his release. The running theory is that he is what is known as a mafia rat. They are typically orphaned, runaways or in some cases kidnapped kids, with no family or home of their own that are manipulated into working as the eyes and ears for criminal rings. The fact they are minors for the majority of their employment, have no familial connections and generally go unnoticed by the public is what makes them so valuable for jobs such as this. However, 95% of them lose their value once they turn eighteen and can be tried as adults, so most of them turn up dead or are filed as another missing persons not long after their 18th birthday.

Most of the detective on this case have given up chasing CB as a potential key witness because they don't even know his real name. The name he gives them brings up the file of an emancipated minor that seems far too perfect to be real, leading them to believe it is an alias but with no way to prove it. They have no lead on possible family members, friends or even an apartment to stake out to watch him, he is like a ghost. However, CA is determined, and he knows that CB is the key to bringing down Kim Hoseok, so he begins a game of cat and mouse with him just like countless detectives before him. Only he doesn't approach things the same way. He doesn't throw threats and accusations at him, but instead tries to put himself in CB's shoes. The shoes of a lost kid with no home just trying to survive in this big and scary world. He knows how cases like this end, with a body bag or a missing persons case and a part of him is terrified for CB because he has actually grown rather fond of the bratty and stubborn kid (perhaps more than he should). It is after another sleepless night of hopeless research that CA finally has a small break through. He discovers a 13 year old cold case regarding a missing little boy, there was no evidence of foul play but four year olds aren't usually your typical runaway case. The more he looked into the case, the more he was convinced this little boy was CB, so he decided to take a leap of faith. The next time he saw CB he made sure to bring up that missing little boy, to call him by his real name and he watched and observed as CB stumbled to decline the accusations, insisting he had no idea what CA was talking about. The more he denied it, the more CA was sure that he was correct, that he finally figured out who their mystery kid truly was. With that small victory, came a terrifying deadline. That little boy would already be 18, that CB was already running on borrowed time from his fake identity and CA had less time than he thought to keep CB from becoming another missing person's case or ending up in a body bag. He started trying everything he could, offering immunity for his cooperation, trying to convince him to go into witness protection, even simply offering to try to get him out without any requirements for him having to testify. This had become more than just a case for him, he truly cared about CB, far more than he should.[/center]

However, no matter how hard he tried, no matter what he said, CB seemed uninterested in saving his own life, seemed completely unfazed to the situation he was in. The closer it got to CB's fake 18th birthday something strange started to happen. Anonymous tips were left at CA's apartment that lead to multiple arrests of people associated with the Korean Mafia, the procurement of a shipment of methamphetamines, and the discovery of a shipment container filled with weapons. As these tips flowed in the presence of CB became less and less frequent, and CA was terrified that he had done something to get himself killed. Until the day before CB's "18th birthday" (actually 19th), when he showed up at CA's apartment. The two finally gave in to the blooming attraction and fondness that was growing between them, even though they were both aware of how wrong it was. CA thought this was CB finally choosing to save himself, but when he woke up the next morning it was to an empty bed, a note and a small key. The note was CB's goodbye, but also his way of clearing his conscious by leaving the number to a safety deposit box that he promised held all the information he would need to take down Kim Hoseok and his criminal organization. Only when he finally made it to the bank he was greeted with police tape and the news that there had been a break in and only one box had been compromised.. the one that CB had left to him. Things just went downhill for CA from there, he had slept with and lost his witness, he was too late to get the evidence that would have helped him and there was no sign of CB which meant he had either made a run for it or... he was dead. He prayed for the latter, that CB had made it out and was far away from this city living his life, but that hope was shattered two months later when he was called in to the scene of a discovered body and what he saw when he arrived with haunt him for the rest of his life. Laying there in the alley buried beneath bags of trash, lifeless and gray, beaten and tortured with a single execution style bullet wound in the back of his skull was CB. CA had never felt more like a failure in his life, and he was ready to call it quits, to turn in his badge and get as far away from this case as he possibly could. That was until he was packing up his office and CB suddenly appeared before him, teasing him about giving up after he had gotten himself killed trying to make sure he could get Kim Hoseok.

Dazzling Lights (i'm looking to play Character B in this)
Character A had an imaginary friend when he was little, it was a young boy his age who would performer beautiful magic tricks for him. He would make sparkling lights appear in his palms, make flowers grow and bloom, even float around the room. HIs parents didn't think much of it at first, deeming it perfectly natural for a little boy to have imaginary friends. However, it became worrisome the older Character A got. He was 10 years old and still talking and playing with his imaginary friend. So they decided to take him to see a psychiatrist. It was here that he was diagnosed with a mild form of schizophrenia and put on low dose medication to manage it. At first he didn't want to take the medication, he didn't want his friend to go away, but eventually his parents monitored him thoroughly in the morning to make sure he was taking it. It had a slow effect, his imaginary friend slowly disappearing as each day went past, becoming more and more transparent until all he was was a voice, then a whisper... then.. nothing. Years went by and Character A had never seen his 'friend' again, and kept taking his medication as required figuring it was better this way since he would be living a more normal life. He was now in his early twenties, and he was having incredibly vivid dreams of a magical landscape, tree's with twinkling white lights that danced around like butterflies, grass that whispered into the wind and spoke to the trees, animals of fantastic beauty and grace. However, he could also sense something dark and looming on the horizon, he couldn't explain it but he felt that something was wrong. The dreams always started in different places in this fantasia like world, and they always ended with him coming face to face with a beautiful boy his age, one that he recognized as the imaginary friend he had as a child just.. grown up now. He would always wake before he could speak to him, and he honestly just figured the medication he was on was giving him strange dreams. Until he began to see him when he was awake to. At first he wasn't sure, just catching glimpses out of the corners of his eyes, or doing a double take because he could have sworn the person who just passed him was the boy from his dreams and childhood. Soon enough he realizes its far more than his imagination, he catches sight of the other across the street, looking directly at him as if calling to him. That's when he decides to go back to the doctor, being informed that he had probably built up a tolerance to his current medication and an up dosage was required. Anything to try and live a normal life he takes the prescriptions and gets it filled.

That night when he goes to take them the boy appears before him, gripping his wrist lightly to stop him from bringing the pills to his mouth whispering a, "Please... don't." He could feel him, smell him... see him, how could this be a hallucination? It was far from it, the figure from his childhood begs him to stop taking the medication, assures him that he is not crazy that this was something far greater than he could understand right now. He claims that Character A was a traveler, a human being linked to the universe in a way that allows him to pear into and even visit other realms of existence, and the one he found first, where the mysterious boy was from, was the fae realm. The medication wasn't keeping him from hallucinating, but keeping him from traveling. Of course, Character A is reluctant to believe him, but the boy promises to show him proof. He tells him to close his eyes then takes his hands in his own, with his help he manages to transport them completely to the fairy realm. It was the place he had dreamed about, but the foreboding shadows were not present like in his dreams. He couldn't believe what he was seeing, feeling, smelling, it was all so real, this couldn't be a hallucination. Of course, he still had his doubts, and thought that maybe this was his schizophrenia worsening. They did not remain in the realm long, the effects of Character A's medication pulling them back into the earthly realm within just a few minutes of being in the fairy realm. Character A isn't convinced, but the supposed fairy could provide more proof. The only reason no one else could see him was because he wasn't technically within the earth realm whenever he interacted with Character A, Character A was actually seeing between the realms. However, Fairies were one of the few creatures who could pass between realms with ease, though there were usually consequences to such actions. For the earth realm, the consequence was losing most of their magic for the time they are there, Light Fairies were in a co-symbiotic relationship with magic, it kept them alive and they nourished it, much like a bee pollinating a flower. Earth has very little magic, so it is just enough to keep a fairy alive but they cannot preform magic and if they stay too long they grow weak and sickly. Of course Character B doesn't tell that particular detail to Character A and simply passes through to the earth realm.

Once there he steps outside of the others house and approaches someone walking on the street to have a brief conversation with him, proving to Character A that he was beyond just a hallucination. This was when Character A realizes he is part of a world much bigger than himself, he begins to befriend the light fairy, the two of them visiting one another frequently and easily reforming the bond they had when they were children. It was a strange transition and Character B helps guide him through this new world of magic, it was like a dream come true... until it wasn't. Suddenly Character B stops visiting him, and when he tries to go to him he realizes something is wrong. The first time he travels on his own to try and find Character B he finds himself in a strange but stunning castle, it seemed to be made of light itself. He was in a hallway but could hear two voices, one he recognized as Character B, he hears talk of Character B having a duty as prince, of dark fairies and impending death of their land, of frivolous journeys to other realms distracting him. He could barely understand or piece what he was hearing together, but it was then that he realized that Character B had been keeping a lot from him. Character B knew that the other was there, he could sense him just like he always could. HIs magic as a traveler was strong and it caused a shift in the air every time he entered the room. HIs father had never been in Character A's presence so he wouldn't notice the difference, most likely figuring it was just a magical fluctuation. He knew it was time that he finally gave the other the truth and show him that the world he had entered was not as beautiful and pure as it seemed. The fairy realm doesn't just consist of light fairies, the land is split between the light and dark. Where light fairies are like pollinators, dark fairies are like parasites, feeding off of magic and even leeching it from other magical creatures. To keep them at bay and keep them from spreading their territory and consuming their land, every 100 years the royal family of the light fae offer one of their children as a sort of power source for the dark fae to feed from. However, the dark fae have been using this power source up faster and faster and have begun to demand more from the royal family. They agreed to bring it down to every 50 years, and Character B being the youngest is to be the next sacrifice. He thought by the time he was to fulfill his duty the other would have passed due to old age, after all he was still mortal, but now the time plan has escalated. He kept all of this from Character A because of what Character A was, he was an extremely powerful source of magic and if the dark fae were to find out about his existence they would seek him out and capture him. The more he knew, the more danger he was in.
