Introduction:
Greetings! Welcome to my little corner of the Sanctum. I am new here, but not new to roleplaying. I have been writing as a hobby for over a decade and a half now. About a decade of that has included erotic roleplay. I'm an avid reader as well, of a variety of fiction and non-fiction. Writing and reading are healthy escapes for me. I work in a field that requires a lot of rote logical thinking - I often need some creativity to balance me out.
If you're wondering what inspired my username, Serene Island, I enjoy meditation, yoga and mental health. I was an angry young person for a very long time - and with a lot of hard work and dedication, eventually I wasn't.
Logistics:
I typically will respond once a day. I unfortunately do get busy at times and that may slow to once a week at worst. Frequently, I'll be able to respond multiple times a week and sometimes multiple times a day. Most of my writing connections have been longer term and I tend to pair well with people who understand that real life comes first. The vast majority of us who have been in the game for a while have a good understanding of that.
In terms of length, usually 2-4 solid paragraphs is where I land. I enjoy incorporating detail and emotion alongside physical action. To me the beauty of this type of writing is exploring our characters' minds and psychology. I'm not picky about the amount of text received, but for the most part my writing will fall somewhere in this range. Third person is also a heavy preference for me - I will break this on very rare occasions.
I like to keep ongoing and open OOC communication. It just helps with plotting and getting to know my writing partner's thoughts and preferences. Writing is a very collaborative experience for me and I like to honor that.

Plot Idea:
Ok, so here's the scoop. My character Serra is an early twenty something living in a city. She's not used to the city environment and she's also getting used to the working world. The pace of life and chaos are very draining for her at times. Through meeting your character, she gets re-exposed to the life she fell out of touch with. The slower moving, suburban/country life.
The story follows our characters from their first dates and onwards on the romantic timeline. There's no rush for them to get super serious romantically - however I'm imagining our characters have a strong and unavoidable sexual attraction that kicks in from the start. Even if your character plays it off, my character is a huge flirt and just won't be able to help herself.
Pretty simple premise that we can brainstorm and tinker with. I love slice of life role plays, they are my bread and butter for writing roleplays and I pretty much keep coming back to them. If you've played Stardew Valley, I'm getting major Stardew Valley vibes in my head in terms of peace of the countryside easing away the hassle of the busy life.
My Character:
In terms of appearance, Serra is 5'7", and has a feminine yet athletic build. Pale complexion, red hair, and green eyes. She's curvy in the right places in terms of her full breasts and peachy ass. I prefer to play above average height characters and am also not a fan of massive height differences unfortunately. 5 - max 7 inches is fine. Shorter than that is completely fine too.
I'm thinking Serra works at some Dunder Mifflin inspired paper company. Except it's modeled after the seven layers of hell in a sky scraper. Reams of paper are pushed through that place on a daily basis. Typing, printing, copying, and blank sheets. Whatever you can think of related to paper, Sigma Corp does it.
Serra probably has a very small studio in an okay part of the city that isn't too far from her work. A cat named Neemo as well to keep her company. I'm thinking she's fairly sexually experienced, but doesn't have long term relationship experience.
Your Character:
I snuck the little note on height into my character section. I'm really feeling an interracial pairing alongside Serra, but that is completely optional. It won't have any bearing on whether we write together or not. Besides that, have a thing for roughness and ruggedness on the outside and softness on the inside. I'll leave the rest up to you.
Conclusion:
Thanks for reading my post, much appreciated! If you think we would make good writing partners, please reach out with a message. Look forward to plotting and bringing this story to life.
Cheers!
