INFORMATION ABOUT MY WRITING, LIKES & DISLIKES
Posting Length (My Own & Yours): I usually post at least 3-5 detailed paragraphs per post, sometimes quite a bit more. That being said, I don't have any direct, hard & fast, or make-or-break law. My unofficial rule regarding posting length is pretty straightforward: I post however little or much is needed to adequately allow the scene(s) and character(s) to progress the rp. I don't anticipate or expect anything more than the same from my rp partner(s). Write as much as you/they are comfortable and feel is needed to advance the rp.
An additional note, although this doesn't strictly fall into posting lengths. I fully understand, and look forward to seeing other peoples' style of writing. I also realize that how they approach writing, structurally or with descriptions may differ from my own. And that is TOTALLY OK! Should the situation be reversed, I do ask for the same courtesy regarding writing.
Writing. My general philosophy for posting length is simple: write as much as you feel is needed to sufficiently describe what is happening with the environment and characters along with the emotions involved. This may mean that sometimes a post is on the shorter side and that's alright. However -I'll say this again- if you always prefer very short responses (3 or less sentences) I'm not the best partner match and will respectfully decline.
Posting. We all have lives outside rping (although I'm sure there are times we wish it to be otherwise!). I try to post at least once every couple of days, often I am on much more frequently and will be able to post daily. While I wish daily posting could always be the norm, life will interfere. That is why I am erring on the conservative side of caution. If I am going to be away for longer then 3 days or their is some other interruption I will let you know.
Communication. I very much believe in good communication with my partners. This is especially true when planning an rp, or if in the middle of one you'd like to add something, make a significant change, etc etc. If you are going to be away for an extended period or having trouble with posting (writer's block, ideas, etc) please send me a message and give me a heads up. Even if you'd like to end the rp, I'd be appreciative and understand since I'd know what was happening rather than be left wondering.
Hard Limits. Aside from body waste, I really don't have limits. Urine might be acceptable in very specific circumstances, such as a character being forced to go outside as a punishment or degradation. Horror, Violence, blood/gore, incest, torture, non-con, physical/emotional/mental abuse is all OK, as is violent and or extreme content (see below).
If you don't share my same kinks that is totally OK. I will respect and adhere to your limits, even if they differ or are more extensive then my own.
RP Character Preferences: I tend to prefer playing female characters, but some sometimes don't mind playing male characters. Please ask about me playing a male before assuming I'd be OK with it.
RP Character Type or Species Generally I'm more than happy allowing the kind of rp dictate what kind of species the character(s) need to be. I LOVE anthro/hybrids, especially cats or wolves. For some reason the ability of a human being able to transform into either one is super appealing to me. Admittedly part of the anthro fascination is the potential for someone to turn them into very expensive slaves or pets via kidnapping,, stealing, etc, etc IMPORTANT: All site rules regarding sexual interactions WILL BE STRICTLY FOLLOWED and take place only in human form.
Human. Elf/Elven. Vampire. Anthro/Hybrid (usually Feline or Wolf but could be anything). Priestess Witch/Wizard Assassin Soldier. Student
Genres: Fantasy. Science Fiction. Steampunk. Modern. Medieval. Post-apocalyptic. I prefer to allow the general plot and character design(s) to influence the specific genre(s).

Writing Preferences At the most basic, simplified level, I really don't have limits in terms of what I won't do. That means I'm equally as willing to accept a romance-heavy, two character's meeting, falling-in-love, etc etc, as I am an RP where a character is kidnapped and gets to be a one-person star in their own version of a Saw movie.
I vastly favor longer, story based rps and have no issues if they include smut, or even if smut-like content is the majority of the rp, as long as it has a purpose within the Greater Story-line.
What I Crave: Not to sound like a broken wheel - but again the type of RP is going to dictate a lot of how my character will act. In general I tend to like my characters to be at least (semi) realistic with emotions and thoughts that act/react in a manner appropriate to the story/situation they are in.
Again, NOT ALL rps have the former. For example if an rp were more a romance where the drama of the two characters features their feelings and blossoming love that would be the focus and appeal.
If I participate or accept an RP, there is at least one aspect (usually several) that I enjoy a lot; and while not every RP is going to have them, some just aren't going to be as much fun without it. Especially when the dark side of human emotions is carefully mixed and interspaced with the sexual norms and what is to be expected.

My mind occasionally acts like a twisted pinball machine, craving an a-typical RP (for me). The worst I could say is that it isn't the right RP for me at that time. Or I may leap at the opportunity. I've been writing pretty much since I learned how. I love the idea of building new worlds, imagining characters with personality and depth and then throwing them into situations that is equally able to leave them in cries of passion as it might be screams of pain.
I'm somewhat new to the idea of rping on having only been doing so for a few years (before I joined the site this was mostly via email & messengers**), but given my love of world and character building. Found the former quite easy to adapt to and as a result, have no trouble with thorough, in-depth styles of writing, usually (although it does NOT have to be) much more adult orientated.

My strengths are descriptive writing, whether it is a large-scale battle between opposing armies, or an intense 1 vs 1, no-holds bar; this is the kind of atmosphere I thrive. I try to bring in detail not just into what my character(s) is/are doing but the motivations and emotions behind them as well. It isn't enough for my character to simply be fighting, the exhaustion from endless battle, the pain from wounds and the desperation to somehow continue against the odds. Emotions, particularly those that are dark like anger, hate, pain or sadness are (pardon the pun) environments I thrive and deeply enjoy. That isn't to say I can't and won't do happier, lighthearted stuff; I can and often do without too much difficultly.
Besides, let's be serious, if there was some graphic, battle-based violence wouldn't it also be just as likely that at some point there would be a passionate sex scene or two? What RP wouldn't be complete with a bit of intense romance?

Ideally if I'm playing a male character I usually also like having a female character as well (in other words playing more than one character at the same time), although that is NOT a requirement.

I vastly prefer being in a submissive/sub role. Occasionally, and given the right rp I may switch but it isn't the norm. Dark themes, involving horror, BDSM/hard BDSM, non-consent, punishments, abuse (physical, mental or emotional) I'm all totally fine with (as long as they fit within the realms of the rp).
For me the psychological challenge of my character trying to find a way to remain herself or even escape the terrible, dire scenario she is in, is extremely appealing to me. To be in pain or fear, having a constant threat hanging over ones' head as their limits are discovered, challenged and then broken down to potentially being rebuild and made into something new. This power struggle, the psychological strain that comes with intense fear, pain, shame and sadness; juxtaposed with pleasure, joy and happiness is what I absolutely adore most of all.
Please note that while I do love dark themes and content at a level and intensity that may not be appealing to others – which is totally OK – I do NOT expect every RP I participate in to have or even need them.

An advanced, but small country with a powerful caste of magic users; most are priests. The strongest, most gifted and rare are the Priestesses. A hostile nation, governed warlords and lead by their ruthless Emperor, invaded to specifically to capture the gifted magic users. The Priestesses are forcefully bound, magically connected to their conquerors and have no choice but to help further the ambitious goals of the ones who keep them in chains.
Will the Priestess ever be truly broken? Will her conqueror see the value in her life beyond mere slavery and power? Or could something else await that neither expects and will force the greatest of foes into the only possible ally they could trust?
Your Character: The warlord is the obvious (and probably) ideal choice, but you don't have too. We could both be Priestesses and co-control a warlord or something along those lines.

Modern, Slice of Life – Two young women (first year in college or just entering) would discover that they love one another. Both girls' families are very much against same-sex relationships. Worse one (or both) families is extremely wealthy and influential; having the power to destroy lives if need be. How will the two stay together when so much is against them?

One twist that may be interesting is that both girls do have very attractive and popular boyfriends (the boys happen to be best friends with each other). Unbeknownst to us, our boyfriends are truly in love with the other, potentially giving both couples the cover and slimmest of possibilities that they may find a way to live together with their true loves'. If/when this RP turns to sex, this also means the possibility exists for multiple partners and group sex (mentioning it as an option, NOT a certainty).

This RP could take any number of forms, you deciding to play Frieza and/or any number of his henchmen to use/abuse/play with my character. Or we could both control Frieza and his men and each of a Saiyan slave character. The Saiyan's, in addition to being forced to fight (may against each other or against opponents/odds they couldn't possibly win).
Sex could also be a big role; whether they are sex slaves and rented out after matches. Or simply forced to perform. (Limits permitting) if the Saiyan's were related, forced incest/incest could also be something to consider to further humiliate and degrade.

The characters could be something entirely different such as elven, or vampire, but it would fit best if both combatants were anthro/hybrids of some sort. My character is going to be an anthro/feline. Should your character be animal based, particularly cat, dog or wolf, another angle could be that once we both are in the arena and expected to try to kill the other. We discover that we are the others' mate. And while the powers to be demand for us to try to kill the other, it is physically impossible. How will two lethal champions make due? Will they find a way to escape? And even if they do how far can they get before someone tries to drag them back to the pits once again.
A bit narrower in scope then usual but still plenty of opportunities, I think. As always, very open to your thoughts on how to build this RP.

This is intended as a futuristic or cyberpunk-style RP. Exactly how the two meet I haven't really figured out, but the general idea is that the Emperor doesn't want any heirs and (unknown to his kid) is planning to have them killed and look like an accident. This doesn't happen since by chance they meet the criminal leader. However, despite the propaganda spread everywhere about the various crime elements. The criminal leader is trying to work for a better society; giving money, resources and jobs to poor, destitute areas. Providing people with hope end purpose even if it means using crime to accomplish these ideals. Because as time goes by, it becomes more and more obvious that all the emperor cares about is remaining at the Top undisputed, even if it means everyone else must burn below to power his ascension.
This rp could follow several different categories. The first is pretty straightforward. My character is taken (or both of ours if we wanted to share control of the captor(s). They would generally treat us like pets and even if they understood English would essentially ignore us.
This rp could also involve me/us having to meet other humans that have been "domesticated" much longer. Perhaps even a few were naturally born into captivity versus being kidnapped. Maybe one or both of our characters had rare traits that weren't often seen (color of hair or eyes for example) and the alien owner(s) could try to force us to bred.
If the former isn't an appealing idea once we're somewhat used to the environment we could be made to go through any number of experiments, or tests or perhaps even used for some kind of sports.

In this rp the couple (as I roughly pictured) brought the couple to either a large private island somewhere, or equally isolated and restrictive "resort" in paradise/woods somewhere. Perhaps even with other people that do just as diabolic and criminal things.

Or if you wanted that dynamic too, we could both control the evil pair. If both our characters were the victims it would make a lot more sense if they were both female, versus my character being female and yours male. I'm not opposed to the former, but I just think it would be more difficult to manage.
The last reason it would be important for your character to be female is this: the couple is trying to create this insane version of a family (thus why the girls were assigned new names and forbidden to use their old ones). Eventually this would also mean they'd become pregnant at some point. Who/how this happens we can determine later. Perhaps the most challenging part of the rp (for our characters) will be trying to figure out what their relationship is supposed to be. The couple is going to insist (forcefully) that they are sisters. What would happen if they are discovered together? What happens if/when they have children?
This rp could be a bit harder to set up and carry out without running the risk of one person constantly doing A LOT of work. Still, I believe that it can work well with the right partner and balance of events. Hopefully that makes sense.
