Well hello there, I'm new to the site which is probably obvious, but I've been roleplaying on and off for a long time. You can call me Nikki which is my middle name, or just my screen name. Honestly I'm a avid lurker on sites like these, typically biding my time until something comes along and in the meantime entertaining myself by reading others rp threads. This is mostly due to my inability to keep up with rps I've established, either work and or education taking up too much of my time leading to the consequence of discouraging my partners, me losing interest from lost muses or when the role play differs just too much from what discuss especially in length and quality, and partners asking too much from me and just not contributing at all.
And I don't know how discussing an rp is for other people, but for me it's so difficult. I can hardly keep up a conversation in real life let alone trying to build up a world and plot with someone I'm not even on the same page with yet. Just let it be known I express myself through elaborate writing scenes and character interaction, not actual, you know, communication? I know all that is a bit of a downer, but I really hope to change all that.
Despite all my complaining about role play I do love to role play and often dabble in novela, but like to keep a casual three to eight paragraphs in most of my posts. I adore character development exploring their emotions and feelings and story, as well as realism even the most heaviest of fantasy settings, scene description and lore are also important components in any good role play for me. I'm also a total pervert and really enjoy smut to so there's that...What I really want is just like one or two partners I can really vibe with and an rp I can enjoy and stick with, it's been too long since I had that.
Anyways that's it for me, thanks for reading my rambles. Now it's back to lurking for a while.
